My first Christmas read this year and it was lovely. I love books set on canal boats. I loved all the characters and poor Rosie, and her love for Daisy, and Pepe. A delightful heartwarming tale.

Very enjoyable book to read. This is a combination of Katie Flynn and her daughter Holly writing this. Don't be put off by this as I thought it was a really good read. It's set on the English canal system during WW2.

Great book as always from one of my favourite authors

Great book as always from one of my favourite authors, I introduced my mum to Katie Flynn books and she loved them too. Sadly mum passed away last year and now when I read Katie books i just wish mum was still here to enjoy them.

My first Christmas read of the year and my first Katie Flynn book. This is a lovely heartwarming story of Rosie who lives on the canals in Liverpool in wartime. The characters in the story are endearing and I felt connected to them from the first few pages. I Really enjoyed this book and I look to reading more Katie Flynn novels in the future.
