4 1/2 STARS!

An emotionally riveting read! Two lost souls find a friend to believe in as they each recover from their own traumas and find their way into each other's hearts. The story was very easy to get hooked into and the characters felt real. This town seems to have a healing power on veterans who return home from fighting for their country and then find themselves floundering to return to life and daily living. It's very humbling to see so many different sides of what they have gone through

Another tale in the Home to Covenant Falls series and one of the best. Army ranger, still recovering his wounds, has been asked to check out a variety of equine therapy programs in anticipation of the guys in Covenant Falls offering a similar program to veterans. There he meets Jenny Talbot, a war correspondent with her own scars and nightmares. She intends to do a story or series of them about the equine therapy program, but Travis isn't the only veteran hesitant to talk to her.

However, Jenny

This is a great story about how you can come home again. However home is where the heart is. Travis is healing and is willing to stay in one place. Jenny is not. Not even if she found everything that she was looking for. As Travis learns his new job, he also learns how to heal and how to fall in love. Will his love be enough to win Jenny? Where will they end up? This was a great read and I enjoyed finding out where these characters ended up. I am giving this book a 5/5. I was given a copy, all o ...more

The Soldier's Homecoming by Patricia Potter is the 5th book in the Home to Covenant Falls series. I enjoyed the story. It helps me feel that it is okay to go home again. You know when you get so far gone you wonder if you are ever welcome to go back.

Travis and Jenny are a great couple. The obstacles are everyday obstacles faced by soldiers and many others. :)

The job, though temporary, is for helping veterans using equine therapy. Jennifer Talbot is a wartime correspondent and like Travis suffered both physically and emotionally. Jenny takes an interest in equine therapy and travels to Covenant Falls to learn more about it. The two notice a spark between each ...more
