Loved It!💙

*Spoiler Alert*

This is a story of Raz who was kidnapped as a child after her mother died protecting her. Raised in a cage for most of her life in a secret place with other shifters who were being held and used for hunting games by the hunters finally escaped and as she's running she hears the cries of wolf pups. She comes upon a scene where Hyenas had kidnapped these 2 pups and were terrorising them and she jumps in front of them to protect them and fight them off. She manages to get a couple but the other hyenas surrounded her and she fights them even though she is gravelly injured and this is where her true mates shows up and fight the remaining hyenas and the alpha and beta realised they have finally found the true mate who saved 2 members of their pack. Before they can thank her for saving the pups she used what was remained of her strength to jump and take off before the alpha and beta could stop her knowing she is injured. The alpha and his beta tracked their mate down and call upon the pack doc to come and heal her realising that she couldnt keep her eyes open any longer the alpha and beta realise they are about to lose their mate if she is ignoring their command to stay awake. They rushed her back to their packland to tend and heal her. Loved this book, read it in one sitting and what I loved most was how she came into her powers where the whole pack were in awe and astonished and after her mating with her mates she inherited more than just her powers where she ends up having a her entire body covered in tattoo and finds out what it means cos only one other person had this particular tattoo and it was over a thousand years ago and she was a warrior and has not been seen since on another person. This was such a good story and the end felt kind of rushed and the story was over. It felt like there could of been more added like the fact she was pregnant and thought we would get to her about her pregnancy and what did she have and how many. But it didnt. Really looking forward to Mason Rose and Riker's story next.

4 CRANKY STARS

This is a strange little story about shifters. It starts out with a tiger running through wolf lands and since that is against all rules, she is terrified for her life. When she hears pups screaming and crying, she knows she must intervene. And so, the story begins. Of course, she runs to help them and is attacked by hyenas. Gravely wounded, she is saved by the wolf pack. That is not a spoiler because this is just the first couple of pages, an epilogue of sorts.

I say it is strange because this tiger shifter has supposedly been held in a cage and experimented on her whole life. She has no memory of a previous life. This has been her first chance to escape her cage, so how does she know where she is and what the rules are here? This is just one of the inconsistencies of this story but otherwise it is entertaining. Of course, as in all the shifter stories I’ve read, she is discovered by her true mate or in this case mates. The intimate moments are described in quite explicit detail so I wouldn’t recommend this to young kids.

However, as an entertaining shifter story it was pretty good. Afterall, there is only so much you can write about shifters.

Raz escaped the cage she been in her whole life only to find herself tenderly trapped between the Alpha and the Beta of the North Woods pack. Readers can’t help but become completely engrossed in this decadent and gripping shifter romance with strong, vivid characters and a fascinating love. The relationship is full of depth and lots of emotional turmoil that makes it easy for readers to connect with them and understand their motivations and the passion is sinfully decadent and full of sizzling chemistry and scorching passion. The plot is fast paced and flows smoothly throughout the story with some thrilling suspense and excitement when others show up, claiming that Raz belongs to them and when Raz learns some astonishing news about herself. The intriguing, exotic world and the wonderful characters is well developed and has some erotic twist that makes this world even hotter and more exhilarating, although this story is a little on the short side and has an overall series story arc that has readers impatiently awaiting to find out what happens next.

Furious and damaged

Razelle, Axel, and Xander come together when Raz protects two small wolf pup shifters from hyena shifters. Together they form a family unit that heads a large wolf pack. Even though Raz, a tiger shifter, does not remember her beginnings, having been raised in cages by humans for sport hunts, she knows that Axel and Xander , the alpha and beta, of the wolf pack are hers. During their courtship her mage powers start to be discovered and her lineage comes to the front. What does a Tiger Mage shifter have in common with a Wolf shifter? Have to read to find out. A favorite story of mine that I while heartedly recommend!

Now this is the kinda book I've been craving lately. Well written, story moves fast but doesn't make you feel lost.

Raz is an awesome heroine and the backstory plays out thru the book showing much of what she'd survived as yet.

I loved the triad idea with the half brothers. Their fathers and mom plus their nanna were awesome characters. I want to read the backstory or even future stories of several of the pack members.

I want to know more of Avara and can't wait to see what next comes for the pack, sheath and sleuth.

I know this is a scattered thought process of a review but i can't really elaborate without risking a spoiler.

A Sassy Heroine & 2 Sexy Mate...How Can You Go Wrong?

I loved this book! You are immediately taken in by Raz's bravery & selflessness from the first. Her quirky sense of humor & compelling backstory make this a great read. Her two sexy wolves were not just excellent imaginary eye-candy, but their compassion with a woman who was, in many ways, beginning her life from scratch was endearing.

I haven't read any of Ms. Carlisle's novels before this one, but I'm looking forward to reading more!

I like it

Sometimes I just want to escape from my own conflict. It's nice not have everyone in a book fighting or upset. I like that she is brave and fearless and ok being in a cage in animal form for all those years doesn't mean she be submissive she a tiger ppl duh. Keep them coming killing i just found you and read the omega series too love it

Eh

As I was reading, I kept wondering when the book would end. I paid for it, so I would at least finish it. It was not worth it. I give it 1.5 stars.

Highlights:

- 2 M wolf shifters, 1 FMC tiger
- overpowered FMC, but also super weak
- underdeveloped story and world
- love at first sight, too much “mate” this and “my love” that.
- overbearing/protective males (too much. controlled everything.
- Sexist. very sexist. not in a way that demeans, but more like men are cavemen who protect the weak women. very clear gender roles. women care for the children and pamper each other while the men enforce and take care of everything. so much that it made me mad.
- She was captured very young and held captive for years... with no side effects?? The fear she had was so weak for her past being what it was.
- weak writing with a few grammar mistakes.
- Lack of clear perspective, switches between the mates.
- Ends abruptly with questions being cleared up in a summarized fashion. Weak ending. With better writing and skill, this story had the potential to be a 5 star series. I suppose it still could, I would love to see that happen.
- I wish I could get my money back. I gave it 1.5 stars simply for the storyline, but that is being generous.

At 31%, I’m struggling to keep on reading. So much of this plot doesn’t make any sense.
She lived her whole life in a cage as a tiger, but somehow she can read. It’s like the author wanted her to have a tragic background, yet wants her to know all about the world, so the guards conveniently left a tv on next to the cage all the time, so she’s learned from that.

The book keeps repeating stuff and spelling everything out, so there is no depth, and nothing to figure out on your own.
And now, suddenly the main character (who so far is just annoying and hard to like/get invested in) has been able to see people’s emotions like colors surounding them. Aparently she has been able to do this her whole life, but it was not mentioned at all until 30% into the book. Come on, that’s just lazy work by the author. Was there no one around to edit this book? I’m sure it could have some potential, but it’s very imature and shalow, like something you’d write when you’re 14-15.

Wow what a story this was to read, and i totally enjoyed the whole story. It certainly was page turning, and amazing. A wonderful HEA to boot. I must say this is a new Author to me and if she writes books like this often im sure i will become a number one fan.
Raz has finally got free of the cage she has been in for such a long time, and is on the run from the Hunters, however when she hears the cries of wolf cubs she knows she has to try and save them. But saving them has nearly cost her, her life. She is rescused by the Wolf pack, the Alpha and beta know that she is their mate and will go slow and show her how it is surposed to be. But Raz is certainly a mystery, it seems she has powers of a mage, one which they have not seen of for a few hundred years.

Readers will truely love this story like i did im sure, it certainly has a few lovely surprises in store for everyone.
5 stars plus for me...

Raz was a tiger cub when she started living in a cage being tortured, beaten and hunted for sport. But she escaped and the hunters were chasing her to get her back but she heard wolf pups crying because 4 hyenas were trying to take them to the hunters. She stopped and started fighting with the hyenas to save the pups she got injured so bad that she almost died. She ran because she thought that the wolves were going to kill her for being on their land without asking but she didn’t make it very far. Axel and Xander got her to let them take care of her because they were mates. Then her brothers and father came to take her home but Axel and Xander wouldn’t allow them to take her since she was their mate. After they were mated, her mating tattoo was really neat! It all worked out for everyone , great book!

Caged her whole life, Bengal tiger shifter Raz escapes and runs for her life. But as she nears the North Woods wolf pack lands, she hears wolf pups in distress as they are being tormented by hyenas. Stopping in her desperate running from her pursuers, she saves the pups, only to be injured by the hyenas and taken by the Alpha and Beta the pack who claim her as their mate.

There was actually very little excitement or adventure in this story in contrast to her having been caged for so much of her life. I expected to see cause-and-effect of her captivity. But Raz escapes, runs, protects, then is captured again and mated. The End. More development of the characters would have helped. I just got the feeling that the story was rushed. (The book's cover is gorgeous, by the way. Good choice!)

That is one resilient tigress

The author really keeps us on the edge of our seats with this one. The pack and Raz collide while going up against the same enemy, but it is so obviously fate that has brought them to this point. Action and adventure run rampant throughout the story as the alpha and beta do their best to navigate the murky waters of their newly discovered mates past and their soon to be future. I love how the author makes the past and present collide causing the tigress who had no family to have over 300 people to call her own. I especially enjoyed the way these three end up embracing their HEA and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

This is the first book in the Fated Mates series of Lilli Carlisle. It's a fast paced romance story that takes place in an unconventional setting where shifters are humans that can take animal form and integrate with the humans. It's Raz's story and her fated mates who she has three of Axel Razelle and Xander. They all come together when Raz escapes hunters and hears wolf pups and goes to save them and almost gets killed and her mates save her.

No conflict to drive the plot

The plot felt stagnant and the characters had no personality traits that made me invested in the story. Everyone was just very kind and fell over themselves to accommodate the main character. It made for a boring read.

Very cool story

Fascinating world building, excellent female MC, lots of drama and surprises as well as a HEA. A little porn-y for me.
