We get more stories from the Montana Bounty Hunters series with this story of Dagger and Lacey. They knew each other before but through misunderstandings never stayed together. Dagger is a bounty hunter and on the side a "repo" man. He finds Lacey again while trying to take her car. Lacey is down on her luck and just needs a chance to get back on her feet. When she applies to train as a bounty hunter, and Dagger is put in charge of her training, you know sparks are going to fly! Dagger hates this, Lacey loves it but who is going to win? This is a quick, funny, sexy and hot story that had me reading the whole book in one setting. I really enjoyed it!

The cupcake and the brawn.. Dagger Renfrew is the epitome of brawn – his resume includes Army Ranger, cop, PI and now bounty hunter with a side gig of repo jobs.. It's the repo job that brings him back into contact with his high school sweetheart who he hasn't seen since he left for the Army after graduating when he thought she dumped him. She is none to happy to see him as he is there to take her car.
The cupcake is Lacey Jones.. Former prom queen and huge disappointment to her Judge father who has recently cut her off financially. When she finds out that Dagger's main job is Bounty hunting she decides is sounds like a cool job and much to his objection manages to get hired at his firm and is assigned his partner in training.
Second chance love while bringing down fugitives equals some hot sparks.

This is a really fun story of Dagger and Lainey are so much fun together. Their connection and the steamy scenes are beyond hot. I loved the antics of their job, the action and dialogue as well as the humor. It all makes this a really fun short read. I love this series.

Lacey and Dagger see each other again after many years when he is tasked with repossessing her car. He doesn't know it is her car, but quickly finds out it is. Lacey was kind of a mess and I didn't quite get her. She claims to be easily bored and decides she is going to try being a Bounty Hunter since that is what Dagger does. The whole cosmetic case and changing wardrobes got old. She bumbled and stumbled throughout much of this book. Dagger was also kind of all over the place. I have no idea how old either of them were, let alone how long it had been since they last saw each other. Their past was kind of glossed over and I had a hard time believing that she didn't try and reach out to him. Her father was brutal but there was really only one interaction with him. I didn't really connect with either character.

Dagger is a bounty hunter who prefers to work alone. But the boss has other ideas and looks to hire a partner for him. It seems like most of the hunters are paired as a male and female but they also hire another man. The book starts with Dagger working his side job as a repo man, taking the car of his ex girlfriend. He thinks it’s justice for her dumping him, but she turns out to be pretty tenacious and forces him to take her with him to the dealership. Then she works her charms on the owner’s son and gets an extension. Dagger just shakes his head they talk as she drives him back for his car. That’s when she decides to become a bounty hunter and Dagger’s life is headed for a change. This was a very entertaining story with steamy sex scenes and a lot of action.

Action and Romance. Yes please!!
Oh wow.. Dagger and Lacey make an awesome team. He’s all alpha male badass bounty hunter, and she’s sassy, savvy, smart and sweet all rolled into one. And they have a history. When Dagger shows up to repo his former girlfriends car, she runs out of the house to stop him, and from that point on, all hell breaks loose.
Reading this book was like watching a great action film. Anything by Delilah Devlin is top notch. I can’t wait to read the next book about bounty hunters!

Falling All Over Again!
Dagger: This a fantastic series! I love all the tough me and women. They all work well together and sometimes fall in love again with a high school sweetheart. Dagger is so funny on how he reacted towards Lacey when he was taking care of his first job. The sparks were still there even after all the years of being a part. If was so funny on how he didn't want train her as a bounty hunter and she surprises him on what she could bring to the table. Fantastic writing!

Highly recommend!
This was a great book! I !over Dagger and Lacey together. There are some very sweet moments between these two. I loved that Dagger would be all alpha male, but could concede when he was wrong. And we meet Cochise, can't wait for his story! I also hope Brian gets a story.

I loved this series. Nothing like reading about a tough alpha man that meets his match in the woman that steals his heart. Throw in a history that makes it even better. I laughed and smiled as I read about these two. Great read

What a ride Dagger is on. His first love, maybe his only love is back in his life and as his work partner, nonetheless! They are adorable together and it was fun to read their story.

Dagger is a former Army Ranger. After he left the military, he was a beat copy, PI now he's a bounty hunter and it's right up his alley. He misses the action and he gets a lot of that with bail jumpers. One day he's sent to repo a car, but the car is occupied by his former high school sweetheart. She's furious until she sees who it is and what he does, right? She's lost her job, her apartment and she's not losing her car and everything she has in it. Dagger thinks she's just a ball of fluff, but there's more to her than he thinks.
