I was attracted to the back cover blurb by the fact he keeps seeing a dead girl and that lures him in to discover who is the assassin. It seems something important so I was guessing if maybe he was seeing a ghost, or if his pshyche was playing tricks with him or was there a doppleganger? When we discover why he is seeing her I thought it was a very dumb motive and I just keep on not being able to like the main characters and/or their reasons for doing things.

I absolutely loved this book!
Before starting this I was in a total reading funk but this was the perfect book to get me out of it.
It was fast paced, exciting, and almost every chapter ended with a cliff hanger. It was a quick and easy read with just enough hints throughout to give you an idea of whodunnit. I had my suspicions throughout the book but I was never really sure until the end.
I really am a sucker for a good mystery!

The writing was good. It was fast-paced albeit a bit childish. I kept reminding myself the characters were in high school and not junior high.

I was stumped when these supposed nerd/geek chose what I might call as stupid decision. Even if they're not nerd/geek, isn't it Murder 101 to stay away from it and oh I don't know, made yourself invisible.

I didn't see the need for them to solve the case. The point wasn't strong enough. The thing that kept me reading was the easy tone. Almost everything els

I dont read much YA Thriller but once I saw the teasers for The Last Time I Saw Her online, I knew I had to read this one. I loved the suspense. I couldn't wait to turn the next page because something was always happening, each turn brought a new twist, more drama and I loved it! I really liked Harley's character, she wasnt afraid to be herself. I kind of liked Dylan, but something always felt off about him, however, I did not see the final twist coming at all. I loved how Amber Garza brought th ...more

This book was such a thriller I couldn't put it down! There were so many cliffhangers that I just had to see what happened. I instantly fell in love with Harley and her investigative personality. Throughout the book I had a pretty good idea on who killed Lauren, but my theory proved to be wrong! I love a good plot twist! If you're a fan of Pretty Little Liars, as I am, I think you'll love this book! The best part? It's not 16 books long like Pretty Liars is lol. You find out the murder mystery a ...more

very good book!!!!!
It had me hooked from the start and the deeper you get into the story the more addicting it gets! Packed with twists and turns that has one shocking ending that's going to blow your mind!!! I love the story and the characters! everything was fantastic!

thought this was a really good whodoneit. You aren’t sure who to trust or who is telling the truth. Everyone is a suspect and everyone has a motive. It let me guessing until the end of the book! The characters were typical high school students and very believable, so this made the story much more real. A great read if you like mystery and being left guessing until the end!

The characters are sick. Even the supposed to be normal ones. But the very biggest thing is how creepy Harley's daddy issues are. Maybe that's how her character should be or maybe not, I just don't like it at all.

The supposed to be unexpected major turn of event just lost its appeal because one, it was very expected. And two, it wasn't major at all.

The story feels unoriginal for me.

First book I had picked up and in ages, my reading mojo had disappeared. I really enjoyed the book but was disappointed with the ending.
