The names of the dishes were cracking me up. I was very sleep-deprived, thanks to the little shit whom I was reading to, but it's funny nonetheless, with an important lesson to parents that kids don't have exquisite taste, so just give them a goddamn banana and quit trying so hard.

There is some creativity with coming up with all of the banana dishes - though it might be a missed opportunity to not have used real dishes - but it's pretty much silliness, and silliness that might aggravate parents of picky eaters. Your mileage may vary.

Baby gorilla just won't eat any banana dish mom and dad bring him. But maybe all he wants is just something simple. Picture book in rhyme with brilliantly colorful illustrations. Will have to remember this for a monkey or gorilla themed storytime.

Over the years he has bottled and sold his own line of Wentastic BBQ Sauce, got married in a doughnut shop and even found the time to author a few greeting cards.
