A sweet Christmas romance, with an overbearing family, as well.

Emma is a paleontologist that often stops by the Inn which Tilde and her Grandfather (who is now passed on) ran. She has a friends with benefits thing with Tilde, but both clearly have a strong connection despite their claims of casual. Emma is busy with her job and various digs, and Tilde is just as busy with the Inn.

This was a sweet, funny, and poignant little short story. I loved the interaction between Emma and Tilde. The family members were fleshed out enough to avoid being caricatures and to help move the story along.

I loved this book. Such nice wintery feelgood material with some of my favourite tropes. The characters were interesting, Reese is a cutie and I too want a Rex now :P I'm sad to see the writer doesn't have any other books out (yet? :D ) cause I would love to read more. ...more
