Another winner from Rob

Very good story, and very believable.
I love the way Rob takes real history and wraps
an exciting story around it. Action, intrigue, mystery,
this book has it all! Give yourself time to read it in one
shot.
The Amber Room is one of the great mysteries of the
20th century. It is still out there, somewhere, even though
it is kinda gaudy. It looks a lot like Donald Trump's New
York apartment, minus the gold! The fine detail is pretty
cool though.
Thanks again Rob, looks like Templar time again. Yes!

Great, Fast Read

Maybe not "THE GREAT GATSBY" type of great, but a fun, Fast paced story jumping from the past to the future, and tying the stories in together making an interesting style of writing, and exciting in both the past story and how it leads to the present. It's not near as confusing as my review; just a story taking the readers back to WWII in one chapter, then what that leads to in the next chapter. Fun and interesting enough to make me an Acton fan even though I started reading Acton's adventures in this last book. Maybe I should go back and read all of the James Acton books from the latest down to the first. Interesting way to read a 20 book series, or maybe I'll just start at the first. Obviously, either way, Kennedy just got a new fan!

Love, love J. Robert Kennedy’s books! I liked the present day-past technique here and it was a story that certainly could be historically true. The only reason I did not give it five stars was because it felt like it was over too fast - maybe a little shorter than previous Acton books? Anyway, it was still definitely a great read and I’m looking forward to #21!

20th book in the James Acton series. This one is the search for the Russian Amber Room, stolen by the Germans during WW2 and rumored to be hidden in a remote mine. I enjoy this adventure series, read all 20 of his books. This one may not be his best, and it's a little short, but it kept my attention. I like the story shifts from past to present too.

The Nazis engineer

Good book, but when will we get to read the rest? Not as good as his older books. But well worth reading. Missed the excitement with delta helping to save the day. They were so limited in this book. Feel half the book is still missing!

Non stop action.

Most aspects of the story were real. Certainly the basic historical parts of the SS activities in the last few months of the war. The Amber Room's disappearance along with do many works of art. Many still missing.

Believable well written story

Another well written James Acton story. It wrings true/real. I especially like that it has familiar characters, but is a complete novel in itself. Wish it were a happier ending, but it’s likely today’s reality.

3 1/2 starts, fast paced and interesting. I have read one other in the series, no 21, and again, although this can be read as a stand alone you definitely miss something of the link between characters. Already have another book purchased for when I’m in the mood for adventure.

Exhilarating adventure. Not so much for the Germans in the back story though. Nazi Germany at its worst.

Book 20

Book 20 was a fun read and had a different ending than what was expected. The plot and characters developed well and the back story was interesting.
