Jenny is too young for me and way too innocent.

I’m older, set in my ways—and her guardian.

Her father was my best friend and when he passed away she became my responsibility.

Our relationship should have stayed just that.

But I love her.

I’ve loved her for longer than I want to admit and I just can’t stay away.

When it’s all said and done I’m going to make her mine

Jenika Snow and Jordan Marie together really know how to turn up the heat. This older man/younger woman story was steamy and sweet, with a few moments that made my eyes leak.

Carson- I wanted to simultaneously hug, then smack, then hug him again. He took Virginia in at 16, after her father died. While he didnt look at her romantically, he never felt like a guardian. Then, when she was about to turn 18, he looked at her in a new light. H

I really really loved this! It was sexy and safe. It also had real life problems that a lot of women go through. The hero was perfect and completely obsessed with the h. Great read with perfect epilogue

It was a quick read.

Urm, it was a bad quick read.

I might’ve laughed out loud at some parts because they were extremely ridiculous. I love a manly-man character, but Carson was just an insecure man who wanted to possess Jenny completely. I believe he might need some therapy. Not to mention, Jenny was such a little damsel in distress, so intoxicated with Carson and his supposedly huge dick. *rolls eyes*

Also, what is wrong with Carson and his bloody desire to impregnate her? Just

Oooh Breeding~

"Planting His Seed" is the story of Carson and Virginia.
Such a sweet, wonderful romance between a guardian/ward who waits for her to grow up and finally gives into his feelings. I adored that he was so devoted to her, and the mild angst/support in the end was everything.
Two beautiful epilogues to top up this goodie.
Finally! A short story with some delicious angst (heroine thinks she can't conceive so she asks hero to separate but he won't have it). I loved this novella. Carson is all alpha and possessive and Jenny a sweetheart. Very hot and steamy. No other man or other woman. Totally safe. Epilogue was adorable so heartwarming. Fantastic short story! ...more

who know double entendres about farming & impregnation could be so fun!!!!

okay in all seriousness, this was bad. if you read my last review of Ridiculous Smut™ you know how FUN it was. like it was so so bad but also so so funny. but this was just bad. we get a TIME JUMP and TWO EPILOGUES!!! all so we could see the fertility struggles of 2 characters we don't give a fuck about. they have sex ONE FUCKING TIME in the 100 or so pages of this book. and it wasn't hot. just a lot of

Everything about this book sounds disgusting to me.
The title, the blurb... Everything.

Planting his seed? --> WTF kind of a title is that?

He is her father's best friend and he becomes her guardian after her father's death. She is a virgin heroine and he is an experienced older man.

Everything is just gross!
Just did a re-read (audiobook) on this one. Forgot how good it was. I don't believe I've read much, if anything by Jordan Marie but it was part of Hot Bites where I also read Ride My Beard also by Jenika Snow.
Loved how the H, Carson, loved the h, Virginia (Jenny) but didn't care for him pushing her away for 4 years. Still a steamy, cute, quick read.
Older man younger woman

This one is about a farmer whose older best friend passed away and left his daughter in his care. They started developing feelings for each other when she was 18 and he first kissed her, but he wanted her to go to school and experience the world a little but before he claimed her. She is now 22 and finished college to come back and claim her man

Darlene I read WAY to many books
This is the last hot bites book I need to read to catch up lol cant wait for another ;). It was steamyish and super fast pace.

Carson has been Virginia guardian since her father passed away and he has been keeping that distance because 1. He never felt that way about her at that moment and 2. She was underage. When Virginia turned 18 his feelings shifted and he still pushed her away wanting her to live and grow have more experience. Now she's back home and well some tension is in the air since V

This one is a perfect example of why I love this writing duo. Plenty of OTT, Alpha male growling MINE and the sweet virgin he claims - wouldn't be a dirty quickie without it... BUT this story also has some actual emotions and sweetness to it that make it a great read. Definitely recommend to fans of Jenika's Real Man series. ...more

Sexy and possessive Carson has loved Jenny for a long time, but willing to let her go away since she was so much younger than him. But when she was done with college all bets were off. Two great epilogues.

I am loving these collaborations between Jordan Marie and Jenika Snow! I'm a huge fan of Jordan Marie's, and Jenika Snow's smutty novellas are one of my favorite guilty pleasures. Jordan and Jenika are completely in sync in Planting His Seed seamlessly blending their writing styles and transitioning undetectably between the two of them.

A very quick and sexy read, Planting His Seed was a bit of taboo with an older man, former guardian and younger woman storyline. The hero, Carson, was an

It's... okay. Her writing style reminds me of Alexa Riley.

I wouldn't say I like it but I don't hate it either. Just in the middle. Some parts make me cringe, I would dnf if it was longer.

This is the third book in the Hot-Bites Novella series by Jenika Snow and Jordan Marie. This is the third collaboration between these two extremely talented authors and I look forward to more from them in the future. Carson Haynes is 36 years old, he owns and operates a ranch in Wyoming. Six years ago his best friend, Luke got sick with cancer and asked Carson to take care of his only daughter, Virginia (Jenny) when he died. Carson was only 30 at the time and he had no idea what to do with Jenny ...more

Great read like hot reads, short reads, over the top alphas, and an HEA.

Side Note: I have read all of the books in the series and you know what? I really enjoy the fact they all bring something different while delivering the same punch they are intending. These two ladies are executing this very well and this one was no exception. The only thing I kinda wanted was a little more sex? Lol, but to be fair they hit me with a twist and I liked that too, so it was a good counter. Keep up the

Although I'm used to Jordan Marie's writing and it being longer, this book is so good, you don't even notice that it is shorter. Loved it. It has the hot alpha older man and the young sweet innocent girl. By the time Carson is done with his girl, she just might not be so innocent.
Another must read by Jordan and a new author Jenika! I voluntarily read an advance reader copy for my honest review

Hot and sweet indeed. Older man/younger woman have had feelings for each other for years and finally admit it to each other. This story has sweetness, heat and great characters. Definite recommend.

Super hot short read!

I love Carson! So strong, hot and virile. So perfect for jenny! Love this! I couldn't put it down! I love what these two authors create! I seriously wish it could've been longer.

Great read!!!

I love a story that just gets right down to business and this is exactly what this novella does. If you love a gruff alpha male then this is the story for you.

I'm just a simple small town country girl, haunted by Alpha Men who talk in my head 24 hours a day.

I knew I wanted to write when it became clear I couldn't be happy with just viewing other people's stories. I always wanted to rewrite them.

Like why did Jack have to die? Why couldn't Rose move her butt over? Because that was a huge piece of wood she was on, people.

Happy Endings should be fought f
