Must they always be continents apart?

Nobody expects Paris fashion designer Grace Railton to settle down in her Indiana town, least of all Mica Barzonni. Fifteen months ago, he turned to her for comfort and compassion following a farming accident that left him permanently injured. Then she returned to France and went silent on him.

Until, suddenly, Grace shows up on his door

“…they were as mismatched as a tuxedo and a pair of cowboy boots.”

I always love visiting Indian Lake through Catherine Lanigan’s heartwarming books. Mrs. Beabots is one of my favorite characters to hang out with. Anytime we also get to visit with the Barzonni family is a delightful bonus. And that’s exactly what we get to do in His Baby Dilemma – visit with the Barzonni family AND Mrs. Beabots. So already I’m happy.

Grace and Mica both take a bit of getting used to. They each have some r

This is the first time I have read anything from Mrs. Lanigan or anything in this series. But you know what drew me to read this book? Is it involved a baby. I love love love secret baby stories or single parent stories. This is a sweet little second chance or really third chance story for these two characters.

I have to admit I was really excited about reading this book. But I will also admit about half way through I started having mixed feelings about it. Than I really liked it once again.

4 1/2 STARS!

A delightfully sweet story of never settling for less than "the one"! A surprise arrival leads to life altering news! Mica had been afloat trying to put the pieces of his life back together when a short-lived visit from his old friend Grace gave him a lot to think about before she returned to Paris. Now she's suddenly back with a change that will knock him for a loop! The characters were easy to connect with, and the plot had me hoping she would be able to get it through his hard hea

Grace Railton, a beauty pageant queen turned successful fashion designer, travels to Indian Lake from Paris to help her Aunt Louise with her ice cream shop, which she has done many times in the past. This time, however, she's not alone. After a whirlwind romance the year before with her longtime crush, Mica Barzonni, she has a favor to ask. Her business has really taken off, and she needs his help with Jules--his son. Obviously not taking into account the shock Mica will experience when she show ...more

I am enamored with the residents of Indian Lake, and even more so after reading the latest in the series. I love the tight-knit community and how they rally around each other.
I liked Grace and Mica's story and how it unfolded. I have to admit that I was on the fence at first on Mica. He seemed to wallow in self-pity, but after a while he became one of my favorite characters. I understood how he felt when Grace shows up with their baby, which by the way, he is just finding out about for the first

Grace Railton had a crush on Mica Barzonni ever since they shared a kiss as teenagers, but she didn’t get the sense that the attraction was mutual. Twelve years later when Grace’s aunt Louise has back surgery and Grace leaves her home in Paris to come help out at The Louise House, her aunt’s ice-cream shop in Indian Lake, Indiana, Mica and Grace get reacquainted. He’s still unimaginably handsome with his black hair and Mediterranean blue eyes. The only difference is that he’s lost the use of his ...more

When Grace Railton returns to the town of Indian Lake, she has a surprise for Mica Barzonni. One she realizes she should have shared before standing in front of him with their infant son.
At first, Grace seemed a little selfish to me. After all, she’s dropping her son with his father in order to get caught up at work in time for fashion week. But, through Mica’s eyes, I came to see her drive and determination. Her motive behind her single-minded focus is to provide a good life for her son.

His Baby Dilemma

Mica finds out he is a father of a six month old, Grace wants him to keep him for a couple of months while she goes back to Paris. I love his name. Mica, very unique. He only has use of one arm due to a accident, I loved had he was able to overcome it with the baby and his future occupation. I kept wandering how it was going to end up with her job being in Paris but you will have to read the book to see. Love his family and her aunt and the ice cream shop. I definitely will have

His baby Dilemma is the ninth book in the Shores of Indian Lake series. If you love babies, second chance romances, and challenges this book is for you! Catherine Lanigan sure knows how to throw that secret baby on us and the father for that matter. Caught off guard with a child he didn't know he had Mica has to continue adjusting to other issues in his life. Grace may want to continue the life she has built for herself but now she needs to consider Mica as well. I adored this read. I can't help ...more

First book by this author; not going to be the last. I really liked the storyline, with Grace living in Paris and Mica in Indiana. She comes back, to leave their son Jules with Mica for a couple of months so she can concentrate on her design career. But she realizes she really wants Mica to love her. But when she has to leave earlier than planned, she can’t leave Jules behind. She confesses her love to Mica but he doesn’t reciprocate and lets her go. I won this book in a contest, and enjoyed it ...more

Harlequin romance. The basic premise of this book is pretty strange. Grace "forgot" to tell Mica that she had his baby, and then wants to drop him off and leave him with dad for a few months.
