Bad luck! All Santa's reindeer are sick in bed! What to do? Oh, what to do? The elves create balloon solutions that would feel at home in the Macy's parade, but disaster strikes again. Thank goodness the reindeer experience a rapid recovery, JUST IN TIME!

Santa was all ready for Christmas, but when he checked on his reindeer they all were sick in bed with colds. Santa had to come up with substitutes, but no one could do it. He tried out ideas to find one that worked. Funny story with fun illustrations.

Cute read aloud for the holidays! The reindeer are sick, and Santa is having trouble finding replacements. Some funny bits, especially the picture with Santa parachuting from an exploded blimp.

A really fun Christmas book for the preschool or early elementary set. What if Santa's reindeer did come down with the flu? Oh, My!!! The solution is perfect and get ready to have that special "medicine" on hand.

How neat that Santa thought to give the eight sick reindeer cocoa so that they could fly again! And, the illustration are wonderful.

We checked this out at the library a couple years ago, and then I bought it last year and my oldest son remembered it. He loves that the cocoa cures the reindeer and has had me make the recipe in the back of this book more than once.

When Santa's reindeer get sick days before Christmas Eve, Santa is forced to think of alternatives and auditions such unlikely animals as ducks, rabbits, monkeys, cows, and elephants. His elves even attempt to build a reindeer blimp. Luckily, Mrs. Claus saves the day with hot cocoa.

steve says good story about perseverance and faith during the holiday times. in other words, he can't review a book and is being quite snarky.

Silly Christmas story about Santa's reindeer not feeling well enough to pull the sleigh. Santa has a problem and comes up with some interesting ways to solve it.

Like the other book, it was just ok. Nothing overly impressive. The last page is pretty cute. Cocoa is pretty great.
