Don’t miss this hot contemporary romance about a single mom and a swoon-worthy doctor who just might have the cure for loneliness…

SAVANNAH - Life hasn’t turned out the way I planned.

My marriage failed. My ex-husband moved on as soon as the divorce was final. I may never.

Especially with someone as presumptuous as Preston. Excuse me, Dr. Cole.

He may have the body of a Tr

An appointment is book 4 in the summer in new york series. This was a wonderful story from start to finish. I couldn't  put it down. Savannah just got out of a divorce from a worthless husband. Her whole world in her son Trey. She take him to the doctors for an appointment. Little did she know she would meet Dr. Preston Cole. They were both against finding someone. Savannah and Preston keep getting thrown together. This is such a sweet story. It definitely sucked me in. I loved that it ended wit ...more

An Appointment is the fourth book in Summers in New York series by Lindsay Marie Miller. It is a contemporary romance, that has a lot of drama, tension, angst, push/pull, frustration, misunderstandings, mystery, a little suspense, emotion, and second chances.
Savannah Taylor is the daughter of Austin and Amy form book #2, and niece of Claire and Benjamin from Book #1. I just love all the interconnected details like this that Ms. Miller places in her stories. It gives them an added layer o

An Appointment is the fourth book in the Summer in New York series from Lindsay Marie Miller, and hands down my favorite of the series so far. I really have enjoyed watching Miller’s writing grow and blossom with each and every novel in this awesome contemporary romance series. I don’t know what it is about An Appointment though, Savannah and her adorable son Tre as well as the ever dreamy Preston just stole my heart right away and ran with it until I had no choice but to put my kindle down beca ...more

By: Lindsay Marie Miller
5 out of 5 stars

The story An Appointment (Summer in New York Book 4) by Lindsay Marie Miller is a New Adult/Contemporary romance book. It is a story that pulled me in from the very beginning and didn’t let go until I had finished the final page. It had my emotions going up and down the entire time that I was reading. The romance is off the charts. I loved reading about the characters of Savannah and Preston. Savannah is a woman wh

An Appointment ( Summer in New York, #4) is the latest in the series by Lindsay Marie Miller. It can be read as a standalone and still be very enjoyable. I have read the others in this series and feel that it gives it a little extra special something in reading them all. The way the author connects the characters together and brings them back through the books just makes you want to know their stories as well.
Savannah and Preston are two people who have both been badly burned by love the first

An Appointment is the fourth book in Lindsay Marie Miller’s Summer in New York series. I have read EVERY SINGLE one of them! The stories can be read as a standalone but it is great to read them in the order as they are connected through the characters! Our Savannah Taylor, the divorced mother of a young boy is the daughter of Austin and Amy from book #2 (and niece of Claire and Benjamin from book #1). Savannah is not doing too well, the divorce has left her hurt and she feels like life is servin ...more

5 out of 5 stars

Anytime that I have a chance to read something by Lindsay Marie Miller, I jump at it, Her writing style, charaters, and stories are alwas so well thought out. Highly structured and incredibly detailed. That being said, An Appointment is no different. I try not to hold some of my favorite authors on a pedestal because even (in my opinon) the greats can fall, or have an off book, but Lindsay Marie Miller has yet to

An Appointment was a great 5 star read and book four in the Summer in New York series.
This can be read as a stand alone.

I was pulled in right from the beginning. My heart went out to Savannah as she was struggling to find out what was going on with her son and of course I was tearing up when the truth came out. The truth put her between a rock and a hard place on what her next step would be. Her ex-husbands family is very influential and could cause problems for her.

Preston is a Dr. that took o

Four Stars

Ugh! Can I get a puke bag please. Lindsay Miller if Savannah doesn’t want Preston I will take him. The man is perfect in the most imperfect ways. Lord if you’re listening send me a big man like Preston lol. I really couldn’t decide if I wanted to fight Savannah or cry for her. Divorce is really hard and it takes something away from you that you never truly get back. I haven’t found it but I haven’t given up either. She

An Appointment

This is Book 4 in Lindsay Marie Miller's Summer in New York Series, however, this is the first one in the series that I read, so it can be read as a standalone. I'm sure I have missed out on some of the characters from not reading the others first. Savannah is a newly divorced mom of an 8 year old Trey. She definitely has not been having an easy time as of late. She takes Trey to a Dr. appointment, and expects an older Dr. Cole, but instead gets his son, who will be taking over the

Can you not like characters actions but still love the story? In my case the answers yes. And really it isn't so much that I didn't like them I just couldn't deal with some of their actions. Okay so I understood where their crazy came from but dang it I got dizzy with these two. But as this author often does she wraps the story in such a way that you can't help but hope that sooner or later they will work it out some how some way and yeah they do. And this time I only tried to throw my kindle a ...more

An Appointment (Summer in New York Book 4) by Lindsay Marie Miller is about two people who are so broken and hurt by their past, that they have sworn off ever finding love again. I really enjoyed the story but I wanted to smack the main characters, for people so smart, they were sometimes so immature. When neither of them were looking, they found love and it is a soul mate love but can they actually get their act together and just be together? Emotions run really high in this story and at times ...more

An Appointment is the fourth book in Summer in New York series by Lindsay Marie Miller. This is a standalone book but characters from previous book intertwine in this story.

This book focuses on Preston and Savannah who are two people who have been hurt by their previous spouses and very wary of love a second time around. I loved the premise of how Preston and Savannah met and that even with some misunderstandings they take their relationship in a slower pace so you a get

An Appointment ( Summer in New York, #4) by Lindsay Marie Miller. I have read many books by this author and thoroughly enjoyed them all! This book was no exception. This book has love and drama, high emotion and best of all second chance at love.

I LOVED IT!

It was so amazing and lovely. From the moment I started reading it too the end, I was hooked.

Savannah such a sweet woman who has been through the wringer with her jerk of an ex-husband. She has her beautiful son Trey to keep her happy for always that is until she meets Dr. Preston Cole.

Preston a hot sexy doctor who loves kids is also lonely and divorced. He was left after his wife wanted something more than what he could give her. Having been alone since then he is skeptical about

Really liked this book. Savanna was a single mom who’s husband didn’t think she was as good enough. Now that Savanna always loved fully and with everything she had but Kevin didn’t want her and it crushed her. Then she met Preston and things were slow at first. She and Preston have been hurt by ex’s and didn’t know what they needed but both felt something for the other one but didn’t think they deserved anyone. They have to work at it and things aren’t easy sailing when ex’s intervene or self do ...more

An Appointment was a wonderful read from start to finish. This is Savannah and Preston's story that will take you on a rollercoaster ride with your emotions. Both Savannah and Preston have been hurt by their exes and have some hurdles they need to overcome, but when they do they're perfect together. Savannah is sassy, loving, smart and beautiful. Preston was sweet, romantic and had a heart of gold. I loved their story. The push/pull, the sweet/romantic and even the sad/mad times kept me cheering ...more

A sweet, easy read with a few twists and turns in but these are fairly predictable. The story surrounds a divorced single mum Savannah and a hot divorced doctor Preston. There's a lot of chemistry between them but also a lot of pain and fear brought about by their previous partners. Add in one adorable child, Trey and you have a recipe for a sweet romance. I loved that the strength of Savannah's and Preston's family bonds comes through very clearly. However, I didn't feel that either Savannah's ...more

This book takes you through a variety of emotions as you follow Savannah and Preston through the story. Both have had their hearts broken by previous relationships so building trust is challenging. The storyline was impressive. I loved how the author penned Savannah's and Preston's story. The plotline itself and the scenes made for great reading material. Unfortunately, I just couldn't quite feel empathy for Savannah like I wanted to. I really, really tried my hardest but her character just was offputting to me. She was some kind of emotional mess with just too many mood swings and seemed quite childish way too many times. Preston had his unlikable moments as well but things ended up worki ...more

This is an emotional ride from cover to cover, I enjoyed it to the end. This is the fourth book in this series and my favorite yet! Savannah and Preston both have a past relationship that failed and left scars. From the second Savannah walks into Preston’s office, he was hooked. Their story is one of struggle, learning to trust and overcoming the past. Will they get a second chance at love? There are twists and turns in their story that left me turning pages. Highly recommend this book.

This story was about two damaged people coming together to try find love again. It wasn't an easy journey. Both had baggage. Both had trust issues. One had something the other thought he would never get to have. I liked that they both had insecurity issues they needed to work though. It made the characters seem more human. There may be some triggers in this one. I'm not sure I liked how it was always played out, but at least in the story there's a HEA. ...more
