This was a very well-written book about Mrs. Shires' journey to conversion and certain aspects of her life after the fact. Some people have described this book as being "dry", and I can understand why some might feel that way, after all Mrs. Shires is an academic. However, I really enjoyed the way the book was written, and the various subjects touched on by the author. You could tell on each page how serious Mrs. Shires took her conversion and Judaism in general. I'd definitely recommend this bo ...more
