I really enjoyed reading this book. It was not just a book with sex flying every where it had a wonderful heart warming plot to it. I love how it showed the personnel growth of the Vanessa the lead character in the story. I also liked how each chapter; sometimes the same character but mostly not gave their different perspective and their feeling at the time.
Vanessa grew up with a different childhood than most. Her parents made documentary wildlife films and the traveled about the country not staying in one place very long before going to the next assignment. That is until Vanessa was told she was going to college and spent the last two years in a small dormitory room. At 22 she was coming home to spend the summer with her parents at a house they had rented out. She was thrilled to be able to have an actual home to go to for a change, having space to move, along with know she was making plans for her life.
She wasn't there two day until her parents announced that they were going to Wyoming for a new documentary and they expected her to go as well. In this time she had met Tim, and Tom, and soon Stan as he heard Vanessa and her father arguing, in the woods. She was furious, she was not going any where with them or her parents, she wanted a life of her own, and a place to settle down for a while. Stan gave her that place by offering a small cabin they had on their land for her to stay in exchange for working on their farm.
Relationship grew from then on between the five brothers. It is a wonderful book of a woman coming into herself just with some extra men in her life than the usual one guy. There were places I was laughing so hard I couldn't see the words on the pages any more. This is really a great book and I would encourage any one to read it.
