Something happened last year that changes how I approach my life. I told no one about it. It’s affected all of my relationships and ended the one with the girl I thought I’d be with forever. I’m a hero at college and one of the top quarterbacks at the university level, and I have the popularity to show for it. Still, none of it feels deserved after what I failed to

I didn’t start to like Wyatt Kincaid until near the end of book one of Wesley’s story.

He fares much better with me in book two.

Learning the trauma he’s lives with since his sophomore year of college explains his uncharacteristic behavior.

Despite his birth mother being murdered when he was a toddler, Wyatt still grew up with a loving father and stepmother, extended family and friends in a comfortable, privileged life.

Jacey Walker has lived the true hard-knocks life complete with foster care and a

Wyatt Kincaid was on top of the world one moment and then it was just taken away. He’s bottled something inside that’s going to eat at him. That’s part of what catches your attention and leaves you wondering what you’re going to do. I was glad to see his story was coming out because I had questions when meeting him in book one. That also shows you that you need to read this series in order.

One moment Jacey Walker’s in the system and the next she’s not. From what I understand that’s actually true

I'm new to world of Leanne Davis, and boy I feel like I missed out on the party of the year after I finished Wyatt. What an amazing story! First of all, the depth that Ms. Davis writes with blew me away, as I felt like I was walking Wyatt's journey with him, and the same with Jacey. Both of them have some demons from situations in life out of their control, and yet, both are amazing people with flaws, but it made them realistically human. Her lost soul called to his secret emotional demons on a ...more

To me everyone of Leanne Davis’ books are amazing and I have loved every word she has written. She has the most amazing talent in that she creates so much depth and feeling into her characters making them connect with you instantly. Wyatt is no exception. He is a classic example of a kind, thoughtful and perfect man who has overcome a tragic event in his life to make him what he is today. Jacey Walker also knows the trials and tribulations of life and has met many challenges in her life. Their b ...more

The Kincaids come to the rescue again. A loving and trusting family with hearts so big, it'll make your heart melt. The story of Wyatt and Jacey will pull at your heartstrings, so emotional, but what they went through really does happen. How the Author manages to co-ordinate the story line between the first book in this series (Wesly) and this 2nd book (Wyatt) is simply amazing. The minute you start reading Wyatt, you know exactly who the other characters are and it makes for great reading. I re ...more

Leanne Davis tells a compelling story. Wyatt has loving, supportive, parents always there for him when he needs them and even when he doesn't. Jacey comes from just the opposite kind of family. She shows up one day to see her best friend, Westley ( from previous book Westley also by Leanne Davis ). Westley was taken in by Wyatt's family when he was in trouble for stealing. They gave Westley a second chance at a good life. This story tells how Wyatt adjusts to Westley and now Jacey. Loved seeing ...more

This book is amazing! Both Wyatt and Jacey have deep seeded issues that have caused scars for them. It was an emotional and inspirational read. I really liked the almost child like excitement that Jacey had for almost everything she experienced. It was a reminder to be thankful for everything you have and not to squander your opportunities. It was nice to read the journey that they took together!

Thank you for the privilege of reading this book! Well done ❤

Wow!!!! I love Wesley (book#1) but wow I absolutely loved Wyatt and Jacey...crazy dynamics brought them together and what a journey...jacey's lost soul and wyatt's secret turn into a beautiful emotional ride. I love everything about these two characters and their story. I don't know how this author creates such amazing stories back to back but she is perfection!!!

While reading Wesley’s story, I thought Wyatt was a real jerk. But as the saying goes “don’t judge until you’ve walked in their shoes”. Once I learned Wyatt’s story, I really felt for him, there was the fraud he felt like, and the hero everyone thought he was. But even as he fought this, he was able to help Jacey find her true self. And through helping her, he let her help him.

Wyatt is a book is one that I did not expect to take the turns it did. Jacey and Wyatt find support through experiences together and find love. Wyatt faces discrimination at the highest levels. I applaud Davis for bringing the ugly topic to light. It is a great story of self discovery after a horrible experience.

This book had so much heart. It was about finding yourself when those who should care for you let you slip through the cracks. It's finding "family" to give you a hand up no questions asked. It's being treated unfairly because you are different. It's those that love you no matter how the world sees you.

A very emotional amazing story. This connected but separate story will keep you turning the pages until the very end. The trauma these two characters withstand seems impossible but is unfortunately real

I enjoyed peeling the many layers of Wyatt in this book. Wyatt did not come across as a very lovable character when I read Wesley's story, partly because he was aloof and not so connected with Dani (for childhood sweethearts, they did not take too long to dump each other) and also because he acted like an overall jerk. But with his story came his redemption. All the puzzle pieces started to fall in place and explained his odd behavior. I'm so appreciative of the author that she weaves in difficu ...more

This is the story of Wyatt Kincaid, son of Ryder and Tara Kincaid, star of the University football team. From the onset, you would think that he lives a perfect life, aside from the tiny fact that his mother was murdered when he was young. Tara is his stepmother, but she loves him all the same.

This story is also about Jacey Walker, a girl that has spent the majority of her life in the social system, from which she was booted from at the age of 18. In and out of multiple group homes, foster famil
