So, I have read both Her Alaskan Men and A Baby for the Lumberjacks by Chloe Kent and I have to say that they have similar logic and execution.
Three huge guys want to impregnate one girl.
They live in an isolated home.
They do manual labor – no matter how rich they are.
One of them hesitates more, but in the end he wants it too.
The girl is a bit of doormat and totally submissive. Maybe she loves pain too.
She resists a bit, but she is completely okay before the story reaches the middle.
Lots of sex.
Lots of BDSM.

These two books kind of reminding me the Masters of Ménage series by Shayla Black. Same principle. Maybe the girl is a bit more yes-woman in Kent’s books and the BDSM is a bit rougher. And maybe Black’s books are sweeter and fluffier, but you get the idea. Anyway, I think that if you liked Black’s books, you will probably like this book.

This was really...not enjoyable. It's bdsm-lite and a bratty young woman who needs punishment.

I wasn't expecting Hemingway but I thought it would have a little more heart. Maybe it was the OBGYN table with stirrups, the 1970's butt thermometer or possibly the enema, but I found this story unsexy.

Did preparing the enema for her turn them on? Was it their domination over her? She loved being this helpless. Leaving everything up to them to decide on.

Nope, just nope.

HOLY FREAKIN MOLY!!
I loved, loved, loved this book. Carter, Caleb, and Jack are three smokin hot billionaire lumberjack who want an heir to their empire. Three gorgeous big Badass alpha's with hearts of gold. Though they were raised with pain and suffering and thrown into foster care they knew the value of family and still remembered how to love even though they fought against it. Saffron is quite a character,a beautiful sassy spitfire who is very insecure about herself and body image. So when she finds out her father sold her sister Marigold for three million dollars to three lumberjack to help cover his gambling debts. Saffron will never let that happen to her sweet smart beautiful sister so through the toss of a coin Saffron takes her sisters place. When Saffron meets them and finds out they all three plan on having her she freaks out. When she starts the practical jokes I was cracking up but what she did to Caleb, I almost peed my pants. Lol. Jack is the tall dark, silent and mysterious type which both intrigues and scares Saffron. And with her insecurities she thinks he hates her. When she finds out why he is the way he is it brought tears to my eyes. Especially when you find out what happened. When they finally get down the making of the baby, HOLY CRAP! My ovaries exploded. At times I was cringing thinking of the pain Saffron had to have been feeling. But I think she even surprised herself finding out she loved receiving pleasure through pain. I highly recommend this book to everyone.

To be fair to the author, I’m not a huge fan of multiple partners. It’s just not my thing.

There were some sex scenes where I was trying to visualize what the author was describing taking place . I was just left thinking that it made no sense and that it would be very difficult, if not impossible, for it to occur.

It’s a shallow story with little conflict and story development. But, let’s get real...no one really reads these types of books for the “character development” and “conflict resolution.” It’s all about the sex scenes.

I simply couldn’t connect with this book.

An unbroken replacement
This book is full of steamy scenes sure to make you pant. What is a girl to do when 3 pairs of gorgeous eyes are all on her? Hope they don't freak out because she pulled a fast one on them and delivered herself to their door instead of her sister. These four may butt heads and have to overcome their personal demons, but by the time they reach their HEA you are sure to be in love. I can't wait for the next book by this author.

Fast pace pretty decent length. I think I'm at the moment done with this writer..

I gotta say.. this book feels wayy similar to the last book from this author.. 3 growly, possessive bossy men (best friends) one of the guys tries to hold himself back & is a doctor.. mmm we had a doctor in the last one.. (losing stars)  and one sassy, stubborn ill sacrifice myself.. last book the h was tossed to the hungry men by her bitchy family.. this book Saffron traded places with her sister Marigold since she was to "innocent" and had bigger dreams.. and she didn't.. she had tattoos, piercings and was a "wild child" thinking the big bad lumberjacks would just send her home since she isn't her sister.. but she's wrong they keep her. She also thought one of the guys would be the baby daddy.. nope all 3 guys are having her..

They don't sleep together right away they dish out punishments to Saffron for lying and putting herself in this instead of her sister.. and i laughed at the lil pranks she pulled on Carter and Caleb she had more at first a connection with them 2.. until Jack finally told her why he "dislikes" her.. his story was sad :( but once that is fix the dirty sexy times happens and boy it was steamy.. but there is drama happening.. she also had a moment she was insecure about her body and about their love..

And like the last book is this a famous line? Lol

" Or would you prefer I wear a brown bag over my head?” h in the other book said similar thing.. :/

An okay story

I liked this book! It was fun and a little different from what I’ve been reading lately. I enjoyed the characters and their storyline for the most part and the smut was pretty well written.

My biggest complaint would be the fact that a lot of the character development and some plot stuff happened off page/we were told about it after the fact. Instead of the author showing us this character talking about their backstory and how they feel about it, we’re told that it they talked about it off page and the conversation is summarized. That’s literally the opposite of how you write character development. It made me feel disconnected to the characters and I didn’t really care about them all too much.

Is it possible to have a slow burn when the book is under 200 pages? I was at 67% before they finally got down to business and did the deed, and unfortunately, spanking/punishment is not my thing, so the first 2/3 of the book were too slow and boring for me. The last bit was a little better, but I felt like the event that happened at the end was just thrown in almost out of nowhere.

IF IT’S GOING TO HAPPEN, IT WILL HAPPEN

I will have to say that I laughed out loud, sometimes belly laughing at some of the scenes in this story, especially when Saffron was stirring up trouble with Carter and Caleb. One thing for sure, the story is a nice even paced story with plenty of suspense, action and yes, an unusual situation that will work itself out in the end. There is a unique chemistry between Saffron and the Lumberjacks.

Gambling debts that are extensive to a thug, Thunder Montgomery, will have a backroom deal made by her father, and three lumberjacks, Carter, Caleb, and Jack, for the use of his daughter to produce a baby. The payoff will clear his debt to Montgomery, and help the family. The problem, the daughter they believe they will get is the sweet, meek, and talented Marigold. Saffron learns of the deal and she can’t allow Marigold to sacrifice herself and her talents as an aspiring artist and will insist that she take her place since Marigold’s name isn’t on the contract. Everyone assumes that because of the way Saffron dresses and acts, she is worldly, tough, and in reality she has them fooled.

“Marigold was Gold—subtle and serene. And Saffron was Red—fiery and unapologetic.”

Saffron won’t wait for the ride to pick her, or supposedly Marigold up the next day, she will take herself to the Lumberjacks. She is sure that she can walk away and her Dad and sister can keep the three million dollars when they see her and find her undesirable. Someone is in for a shocker and finds the plan doesn’t go as she expected.

The plot will have Saffron agreeing to the terms of the contract to protect her father, save their late mother’s beloved home, and keep Marigold in art school. While Saffron is the sacrificial lamb, by her own acceptance, she will learn more about herself with these men. Not only will she make discoveries, but they will find healing from the injustice of earlier life that they experienced.

Saffron will learn that what happened to her with another man was not her fault, and leave it to these wealthy lumberjacks to find a way to clear up that misunderstanding. Their dominance over her will unlock a submissive side she never knew she had. It takes just the right man or in this case, men, and a new world will open up.

Trouble is coming their way, and what becomes a matter of life and death, once again, Saffron will go the extra mile to keep those she cares about safe. The picture she shows the world with her wild hair color, piercing, tattoos, and attitude is all a big band-aid to protect what is inside her. Can Carter, Caleb, and Jack help her see she is cherished before it is too late?

The story is a ménage à quatre, with three men and one woman (but no male on male action.) It includes medical play, anal, spankings, and punishments. The story is consensual, and safeguards are always in place during any scene, including punishments.

Grown men ,these three men are closer than any brothers could ever be they know each other’s pasts and darkest secrets but the lumberjack and his wife that had adopted all three boys into their modest home had taught them the importance of self, each other and family…
Saffron Sinclair is not the girl she appears she may have piercings and tattoos however the reputation she devised is nothing but lies and a whole lot of attitude on her part, she likes to keep people at a distance but she loves her father and sister dearly and would do anything to keep them self.
Her father has got himself into trouble with Montgomery a local shark he has been gambling and now owes a fortune, he is offered a once in a lifetime chance to clear his debts and to help his daughters but there is a catch the money comes with stipulations attached…
Saffron takes the null by the horns and tells her father to clear his debt, one million is to go to marigold and the rest is to pay for his retirement all she has to do is have a baby for three lumberjacks,
I am loving all these multiple romances at the moment, Some are more believable that others this is one of them, some are more like porn movies in writing

A baby for the lumberjacks

Saffron is her father’s youngest daughter and is determined to save her older sister from having to give up her artist dreams. Saffron has no idea what she is actually walking into until she meets Caleb, Jack, and Carter. Saffron thinks she has been paid to have a baby for one of these gorgeous men but she soon finds out that she is supposed to have a baby with all three. This book was beautifully written and has some panty melting scenes in it. I really like that the author spends time helping these four people heal from their damaging pasts and in the process they find a special if not unconventional love. I highly recommend this book. I received an advanced reader copy of this book in order to voluntarily review this book.

I loved this extremely erotic story about three wonderful hunks and a girl with serious attitude. Saffron is all spunk on the outside and all heart and insecurity on the inside. She's a lovable character who sacrifices herself for her family. Somehow, the author made the romance between three men and one woman real by giving all the characters depth. As we get to know them, the collective Lumberjacks become individuals, each with an education, a heart and a past that made him the man he is today. I couldn't blame Saffron for falling for all three of them. The story is loaded with loving discipline and fiery eroticism. There's a bit of mystery and suspense and then a totally unexpected plot twist. It's one of the best menage books I've read.

This was a hot read about a young woman who uses attitude as a defense and 3 lumberjacks who 'buy' her' from her father. This story wasn't nearly as tacky as I thought it was going to be. The characters were interesting & well-rounded and there was more of a caring relationship than I anticipated. This was a good, hot read and I found myself drawn to the story because of the characters. Without giving away any spoilers, it did leave me with one question unanswered, but this was only a minor irritation given the whole story.

To get rid of his debt, Saffron's father sells her sister Marigold to three men who want to produce an heir. To safe her sister, Saffron decides to take the place of her sister. She never expected to meet three men that made her weak in the knees. Jack, Carter and Caleb want a submissive and will teach her to become one.

Overall I liked the story. There were many spankings and intimate scenes. I also liked the characters, the three men were very dominant but also gentle. Saffron's pranks were very funny and made me laugh. I enjoyed reading the story very much.

When Saffron finds out her father has sold her sister to cover his gambling debts she can't believe it she also can't let her sister go through with it. She will take her place and when this man turns her down which he will she'll take the money and run. It doesn't take her long to figure out it's not one man it's all three and they don't turn her down, they take her on.
Saffron's punishments are interesting to say the least, it's heartwarming to see how the relationship builds between all of them. Love the twists and turns with this one.

This was an interesting book. Saffron and her three lumberjack had no expectations for anything other than a baby. To there surprise, they all got more than they bargained for with their relationship. Saffron was the last person you would expect to have a submissive bone in her body.

Super Hot!

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes medical erotica. The author had a great scene when she was getting “examined” by the three lumberjacks. Would have like some more of those scenes but I really enjoyed the book still. Also a lot of tenderness,emotion,and humor which are always important in a good erotic books.
