Wow, wow, wow! I loved the idea of this book and this author can write. The concept of this book is so unique. You have a romance writer who has been releaed from her agent and she feels her life has been stripped form ehr. Miranda, the lead female of this book, is strong but she doesn't know how to move on with her career stripped from her. That is until she meets Spencer and he introduces her to his good freinds, freinds in a same sex relationship. She then starts researching Gay Erotica Ficti ...more

*received in exchange for an honest review*

When Landry was looking for people to read Invited into Your Closet I jumped at the chance. This is her debut novel in a trilogy and the premise sounded amazing. Romance writer looking to break into gay erotica so her new boyfriend introduces her to his best friends who are gay so they can help her research a believable novel? Brilliant. I started it this morning and haven’t moved since because I simply couldn’t put it down! It’s a perfect balance betwe

This was an ARC I got from the author. While the writing was fine, the book just wasn’t for me.
Bubbles The Book Pimp
first in series and first read by this author.

Miranda is an author, following a brutal email from her publisher, she is given two options...write a different genre of book or get a new publisher.

frustrated by her choices and unsure if she can write anything but her 'safe soft romances, the genres suggested to her, she knows very little about. she decides to put her options on hold and go speed dating. following a chance encounter with a lawyer named Spencer, Miranda sees things potentially loo

From the author's point-of-view, I always intended the blend in this series to be seamless. This book was as much an exploration into writing m/m as anything for me, much like Miranda's journey. I was hoping to provide something that would ease the mainstream erotic romance reader into the beautiful world of LGBTQ love, and offer the solely LGBTQ reader a taste of love, blended as it is in life. Meeting in the middle felt like a good place to start.

This is the second book I've read this week that I'm not really sure how to rate of write a review for. The concept is interesting. Miranda, a straight female romance writer who only write a soft m/f romances decided to try her hand at the m/M genre which she knows nothing about. Miranda is also just becoming involved with hot sexy lawyer, Spencer. Sounds interesting, well it was. My problem is I really didn't care for Miranda, she's a hot mess and so is Spencer. Corbin and Mark seem to be the p ...more

I really enjoyed the concept of this book. It was different than anything I've read recently.

Miranda is a romance author who’s agent rejects her most recent work and states she has an opening in her slot for M/M romance. So Miranda is faced with the choice to venture into M/M romance or find a new agent.

Miranda meets Spencer at a speed dating event and while discussing her career he offers to introduce her to his gay friends Corbin and Mark who are in a committed homosexual relationship. Miran

Can I just say wow. First off this is the first ever book I have read that has m/m scenes in it. I started reading expecting to be extremely grossed out by the m/m. That however is not the case at all Peyton does a very good job developing the characters and making you feel close to them like they are your own friends. You get to see two men in love which can really open someone's eyes if they are against and unaccepting of gay or lesbian couples or just do not understand it. I have never been a ...more

This is the first book that I have the privilege of reading by this writer. It was unique and different from what I normally read but she drew me in and got me interested. I was gripped from the beginning and was intrigued to see what was going to happen. I want more from these characters. She left me hanging and wanting to know what was going to happen next with them . Spencer and Miranda meet at a special dating event. There is instant chemistry between the two of them. Miranda is a writer who ...more

This is the debut of Peyton Landry and I am thrilled she decided to publish this set of books. Invited Into Your Closet sets up how Miranda has decided to try to write a m/m book. I read this book in one day and I didn't want it to end, but guess what, it's doesn't and books two and three are already available. You will fall in love with Corbin and Mark. Miranda meets them through Spencer, her new boyfriend, that she met at a speed dating event. How long will they last with the secrets he's keep ...more

This is the first book out by Peyton Landry. Invited Into Your Closet is the first in the series. It starts us out on how Miranda has decided to try to write a m/m book. This book kept me intrigued thru out the whole book. I tried to space it out over time to read a little bit here and there, but that was impossible. Every time i put it down i had to pick it right back up to see what was next. Your going to fall in love with her characters in this book. This is a book you defiantly want to pick u ...more

A very well written blended romance read. The plot is interesting and makes it easy for the reader to become invested in the main characters as their stories progress. Well written, with sexy, believable dialogue. This was my first M/F plus M/M read and I was very happy with the way the author moved between the storylines and wove it all together. The protagonist's journeys are presented with interesting, real world challenges that make this book a very readable piece of fiction.

This is a really good book it is unusual and has lots in that you want to slap some of the characters but what good book isn't like that. Thank you to Peyton landry for writing this book for making me laugh cry and that I felt I was right next to the characters in my mind I could see everything that was happening

How a romance author researches a m/m book, finds love and her own mind and his may come between them with hidden lies. Not your typical book with m/m. More of the how why and how the male mind finds attraction. Loved the book and can't wait to read the rest

I had the privilege to be able to pre read this collection prior to its release. I have to say that I could not put it down. It is centred around two couples, Miranda with Spencer and Mark and Corbin. The journey Miranda takes you on not only with her struggles for a relationship that lives up to the fantasy world she lives in from her books, but also her journey on writing romance novel for M&M. It is in her quest to write this novel that we meet Mark and Corbin (my favourite couple). Her r ...more

This was my first read in the M/M genre and I was not disappointed. I enjoyed the storyline with the alternating points of view with Miranda and Corbin. I loved how the author weaved the relationship between Corbin and Mark. It was sweet and sensual. But not is all that it seems and the story gives a punch when secrets start to come to light. I'm looking forward to the next in the series.

This is my first venture into the world of M/M and I loved how it was a gradual build and not just an orgy.

I've not read anything by Peyton Landry before so wasnt sure what to expect but this was the perfect introductory book into this new world  as the main character Miranda Howarth was as clueless as myself.

I felt I really bonded with Miranda. I loved how although she wanted information she was real like the rest of us and answers made her embarrassed and awkward.

I was initially worried I woul

Peyton found her love of reading later than most. Sadly, at thirty, she could count the number of books she had read for enjoyment on one hand. But she has more than made up for it in the last fifteen years.
Spurred on by the romance in the Twilight series, she found herself sucked into the romance section, however, the bedroom door being constantly slammed shut was irritating. It forced Peyton in
