Cute holiday themed romance.

Dakota and Adam are cute as can be from the second they meet each other. Adam is only in Cherry Lake because his father had a heart attack, and he is helping his mother take care of him as well as the business. He's a professional soccer player who plans to make his way back to Seattle as soon as things settle down. But he meets Dakota, who has just purchased a hotel to revive since her first career choice was halted after a car accident that left her without a fully

This book was cute. Adam and Dakota were adorable together and the little town of Cherry Lake was to die for. This book did not scream Christmas at me, which was kind of disappointing. I wasn't super fond of the writing style either. But am I still going to read the other books in this series? Probably.

This was a nice holiday read. Dakota was an artist who suffered a devastating blow when her hand is seriously injured in a car accident. She comes home to recuperate and start over. Adam is a well-known soccer player who returns home to help out after his father has a heart attack. He and Dakota are attracted to one another and when she takes on the job of organizing the town's Christmas gala, he's there to help.

A nice, cozy love story set in a small town with wonderful people. The author did a

This is an voluntary review of an advanced copy.

This was a cute holiday read about Dakota, jeweler injured by car accident, and Adam, pro-soccer player. When they meet, neither one is interested in a relationship as Dakota was dumped by her fiance, and Adam was too involved in his career.

They both have health issues that they are dealing with so they agree to be friends. For the most part, there is just a lot of sparks between them that they choose to ignore but there were a few conflicts that t

I was provided a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest and fair review.

This book would make a great Hallmark movie, it was cheesy and kind of corny and a had a sweet ending. This certainly wasn’t a bad book and I think a lot of people would definitely enjoy it, especially since its set right around the Christmas holiday (which is a great time to fall in love!). For me personally though this book did not do the trick. The main character, Dakota, and even many other women in the novel a

Sweet Holiday Romance ~ Healing, love, family and holiday spirit abound in this small town Christmas story.

Dakota Moore has moved to Cherry Lake after a rough year. She is unsure that the creative job she is well known for will be a possibility for her in the future after the accident she was in. I liked the characters in this story.
I liked the way the author wove the details of all the side characters into the main story and you know that something will come from it.
Hints of stories to come...
There is just the right amount of angst, and the potential of romance not just for the main characters.
I liked that the main characters showed their flaws and that their family life is not picture perfect..... but everything works out in the end.

A sweet Christmas romance about finding home and a HEA. There's the perfect mixture of chemistry and smooth flowing dialog to keep the story moving at a quick and satisfying pace. Since this the first book in the series, I can see nothing but success in its future.

This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher and NetGalley. I am voluntarily providing my honest review.

Very cute clean romance

Naughty bits need not apply this is a very clean and cute romance. The characters are unique and the conflicts they're dealing with are just life. It's very well written but almost too sweet, like not realistic. The whole thing has a wholesomeness that harkens back to another time that existed only on tv.

I found this book to be missing some of the romance I enjoy. We meet Dakota who is overcoming an accident which left her with some nerve damage in her hands. Not the end of the world, unless you create fine pieces of jewelry for a living. She relocates to a new town where her half-sister lives and meets Adam. He is home during the off season of professional soccer because his dad had a heart attack. He now is faced with the possibility that he has a rare heart defect and is not sure he wants to ...more

Christmas Glitter is a charming Christmas romance of two people who have had life changing events recently happen to themselves or loved ones. When the “big picture” of your life changes you can either hide or face them straight on. It’s never easy to move your life’s direction another way, but Dakota and Adam really have no other choice but to move forward, for that is the type of people they are.

The whimsy and beauty of the glass ornaments that Dakota creates caugh

In July, my mother got me addicted to Hallmark Christmas movies. I decided this holiday season I would read some cheesy, Hallmarky novels and enjoy myself. What I learned is that it is impossible for me to read a holiday romance novel in more than 1 sitting, it just doesn’t work. I end up staying up until the book is finished, which is ok with me!

Let’s get one thing straight, yes, this book is absolutely predictable, just like every single Christmas Hallmark movie ever made. The story is just pl

This is the first book in the series.

If you want to read what the book is about, read the blurb above the reviews.

When our hero goes home to help his parents, he finds himself running his father's business, putting together some of the holiday traditions that have gone on. Also, his father was trying to get one of the local businesses up and running again so the town could survive with jobs and tourism. Harrison has brought us a well-written, sweet romance perfect for the upcoming holiday season to help get us in the spirit as we read about a warm community full of great people. She even uses a real Soccer (football for everyone outside the States) Club based in Seattle to help set up her storyline; the Seattle Sounders. I’m admittedly an FC Dallas Fan myself but that didn’t take away from my ability to enjoy the book.

We are introduced to two characters who have experienced huge life events and

I love these little fictional towns that sound and feel so real. Cherry Lake is not to far from Marietta and it is slowly becoming another favorite town for me to visit in my book travels. I do have tendency to visit Montana a lot. Must be something about the cowboys, the snow (which we do not get here in Texas) and the warm feeling I always seem to come away with.
In this book our author gives us two folks who are not youngin's but not middle aged either. I like the fact that they have lived som

CHRISTMAS GLITTER is a standalone read with a HEA. Appropriate for any age. Dakota is a young jewelry designer that is a celebrity in her field. Recovering from an accident that almost cost her two fingers on one hand she is trying to rebuild her life. She moves to a small town down from Seattle where her sister recently purchased an old hotel to restore. She meets Adam when she goes by the agent's office to pick up the keys to her rented cottage.

She is moving in with her small dog Tiny Dancer.

Professional Soccer Player is a new career for a Montana man, but it works just fine in Christmas Glitter by Ann B. Harrison. Adam is the type of person who comes when he is needed which is part of the attraction for Dakota Moore. This story of recovery, rebuilding and finding a place to belong is all part of this Christmas story, as well as coming home for Adam.

This story flows, making it a relaxing read about love found among the community preparations for Christmas activities. The characters

Christmas Glitter was a sweet, light, and easy read. I really liked the idea of this book and I loved it when I figured out the reasoning behind the title of the book. I hate to criticize any book because I know how much hard work goes into making one, but this book just fell flat for me. I have really loved all of the Hallmark movies turned boo

A sweet holiday story. Two people who are either facing or have faced life-changing events. Dakota Moore, a well-known jewelry creator, was in a possible career-ending car accident almost a year ago.
