Arriving in New York for a meeting, Governor Rock finds himself in a predick-ament.

As a prolific public figure and ex-Marine, there’s always been an expectation of who Chris is and should be; strong, dangerous, fearless, and the typical man’s man. But that’s not him. And as he finds himself longingly staring at the speaker, Tyler Marshall, Chris knows he’s in trouble. Tyl

5 Stars to Tied (A Crown And Anchor Novella, #5) by Kerri Ann.

This is my first read by this author. I found the writing to flow well. The truth is I found nothing wrong with this authors style of writing or talent. The small issues I did have were of my own. For instance there are so many secondary characters in this book; I got curious as to what their own stories were. Since I did not read any of the prior books in this series, I felt a little lost regardless that Tied is a standalone. That wa

Tied is the story of Chris and Tyler. Two men with very different views in life. One with absolute support and love from his family, and one who fears what his true identity will do to his.

“Your coming out was televised and it was hateful what he did. Now you just need to stand tall with your big ### shoulders back and your ### in the air to take it like a man.”

What happens when you take my two absolute favorite Kerri Ann books and merge them into a novella? You get one very, very happy Christi

"How do you find a way towards the surface when it's always coated in ice? My heart has been coated in ice for so long I'm afraid to chip it away."

Throughout this series, I've been giggling at the antics and the banter between our dear governor and Jamieson's main squeeze, and now more so, got to laugh out loud at the surprise appearance of my fave female from this Author's standalone Rush! But through the laughs, we are given a steamy little sneak peak, filled with angst, and dare I say, an ado

Indiana Governor Chris Rock has had to hide his secret his whole life.  First as a combat Marine and now holding a political office he fears what would happen if his secret got out.  Without his personal assistant Carli around to force him to utilize discretion, Chris doesn’t know how he is going to get through a conference he is required to go to in NYC.

Going to the governor’s conference Chris doesn’t hold out much hope for an exciting weekend.  Within minutes of arriving the drinking starts th

I haven't read many M/M stories but this novella was hot. We see Chris and Tyler who may finally get their happy ending, just like their friends, but you'll have to read and find out.

This is a short novella that brings back some old favorites from Rushed as well as the Crown and Anchor series. I highly recommend reading these before Tied in order to get the full experience and some backstory, but if you don't mind those missing puzzle pieces grab a copy and enjoy the ride. It just may entice you

Meet Chris

"Looking at my strong cheekbones, perfectly trimmed hair, freshly shaved face, and manicured eyebrows, I say, 'Yep. You're gay. No fighting this shit buddy' "

One thing I love about this author's writing is the smart mouth quips that are written in. It makes me want to hang with these characters. In this story we have Carli's manwhore ex-employer/friend the Governor, Chris Rock. A man hiding who he is, never comfortable in his life. Carli has cleaned up more than one mess he has got

Tied is a great addition to the Crown & Anchor series. Highly anticipated book! And Kerri Ann did not disappoint, Tied is full of humorous and witty banter and hot bedroom activities.

The big, black ex-military Chris Rock is living his very publicly life as the Governor of Indiana. And as a straight man. But after a night out in New York, things may have changed...

Holy Moly Where do I start with this review without giving away too much. The author (who is going on my “watch for coming releases” list) has written a Sexy, Funny, Outrageous at times, storyline that is also Tender and Heartwarming to the point it makes you want to snuggle up in a blanket and sigh.

The friendships, the loyalty, and yes the hilarity surrounding the life of Chris, the governor, makes this one fantastic read. But the overall happiness of letting go and being himself that he finds

I loved how these two are so different but yet so much the same , these two men are perfect for each other.

Chris is having to hide just exactly who he is because of who he is.

He is the Governor of Indiana and his sexuality is always watched so being gay is not something he can be open about which is sad, then we have Tyler , I freaking love Tyler and how his family and friends support him in his sexuality , but he has problems with his fear of commitment, but like us all it only takes the right

Omg! Omg! Omg!.... Frickin OMG! I'm just speechless! Just stunning! This was so much more than what I was expecting. It was so sugary sweet like donuts with sprinkles on top, with highly contagious laughter that causes tears in your eyes, & gives you red cheeks as you can't stop laughing, plenty of smokin hot moments that you need a firemans hose to cool you down. It was absolutely flawless. I just loved it & expect more as it ended with a open interpretation to lead into another book. This nove ...more

This is the fifth book in this awesome series. Chris is the governor of Indiana, as well as being a former military veteran, and he has struggled to hide his secret for most of his life. When Chris attends a conference, he is instantly attracted to the first speaker Tyler. No spoilers; this is a must read, you will not be disappointed!
This author has written another fabulous storyline, which is a sweet, short, and humorous tale. I highly recommend this authors’ work for all readers, and I cannot

So this is the first book I’ve read by this author. An I really enjoyed it. The characters, the flow of the story and how the words just flew off the kindle at me. Just couldn’t stop reading. And now I have more questions. Do I need to read the other books before this one? Why was there such quick ending?

Don’t get me wrong I really loved Chris and Tyler, they were wonderful together. They were sweet, funny and made me smile so much. I just wished there was an epilogue. I really want to know mor

This is a great story filled with twists and turns. Chris and Tyler live two different types of lives. You need to read the book to find out what happens when they meet.

In true Kerri Ann fashion, she will keep you laughing with the smart mouth remarks of some of the characters and keep you on the edge of your seat never knowing what is going to happen.

This is a great book, definitely a must read.

“I want someone who will dry my tears, not create them. I want someone to help my wounded heart, not break it. And I want someone who will pull me up, not tear me down”.

HOLY WOW! Where do I start to write a review for Tied. Tied is book 5 in the Crown and Anchor series. This is my first M/M read and oh my goodness talk about hot, hot, hot. Not only you get to see Chris and Tyler but you get see the other characters entwined from Kerri’s other books. I recommend reading the Crown and Anchor serie

This book is a crossover from the Crown and Anchor series and a standalone, all by the same author, and contains a lot of characters from both. While technically you can read it as a standalone, which is what I did, bear in mind that there's a mindboggling amount of secondary characters and that you might feel lost sometimes.

Governor Chris Rock is in New York for a Governor's convention, and while he's there, he finds himself drawn to one of the speakers, Tyler Marshall. He knows he sho

I can only say "How did I miss this series?"
This is Chris and Tylers story

Chris has spent his life forced to hide behind a facade to protect not only himself but those he cares about
So what happens when that facade is forcefully stripped and he is left exposed? (literally and figuratively)
Will he lose everything he has worked for? Will his friends stand with him or will they too turn their backs rejecting who he truly is?
Tyler finds himself attracted for the first time in a long time - but it

I absolutely love the Crown and Anchor Series and this novella didn't let me down. It was a great read, Kerri Ann's writing style always keeps me enthralled, I couldn't put it down. There a plenty of twists and turns, alot of sass and some really funny support characters, plus some hot steamy chemistry. Can be read as a standalone but so much better knowing the characters.

Chris has had to sweep his private life under the rug for most of his life as exposing it would not only jeopardize his political career he is concerned about how those that are closest to him would react. He has always had people around him to steer him but now that he is on his own what could possibly go wrong.

Tyler is the exact opposite of Chris. He is an open book but he has been hurt in the past so trust is important to him.

While at a conference the two connect but can two people who handle

I couldn't imagine being Chris having to hide who he is because he's a politician. And Tyler being hurt before and not willing to give someone that chance. But sometimes you just have to take a chance and Chris deserves that. There is more to him than is portrayed. He's just never met that someone. They are perfect for each other. They both need what the other has to offer. I'd love to read more about them. ...more

I really liked Tied. It’s clearly part of a series, which I haven’t read. I didn’t feel that I missed out on too much, maybe just the super inside jokes/stories. It was fast-paced and interesting. I liked Chris and Tyler, they were both likable but very different from each other. The secondary characters added a lot of interest without taking away from Tyler & Chris’ story. The story between Chris and Tyler really developed in the second half of the story and that’s when it got very good. I woul ...more

A quick sexy MM read that catches the reader up with characters from two of her other series. Chris has been searching for the unattainable and Tyler has given up on ever having a relationship. Ahhhhh! Kerri Ann!!!!

To think that I have never read a MM romance story, I should slap myself. Chris is a married man-whore governor that keeps his sexual preference to those close to him. Tyler is just yummy luscious that Chris wants. I must have more since Chris and Tyler are just starting off with each other. And I still want to know about the "boa" incident. Lmao.

After finishing this book, I was totally left shocked. I was so engrossed and living the story with the characters that I could not believe that the story was over. I wanted to go back and visit. Tied contains so many differing emotions, it was difficult to let go. There is humor that will have you laughing out loud. So much angst between the two main characters, that you want to just shove them in a room and say, "Get on with it". Love abounds from all the characters in this book. It is truly a ...more

Avid reader, lover of words. To me, picking a book, is like grabbing a movie. If it's wrote well, the story leaps off the page at you, giving you characters that are tangible. I love to make them come to life, and I hope the stories of mine become well loved. I can be found on these other pages.
