I wrote a whole long review for this already and I forgot to save it ! Grrr ! Teagan is in law school getting close to her last year and taking the bar exam. Her cousin, Morgan talks her and her friend, Sara into going to a party at a very opulent home. When they get there they're definitely the youngest people and and most underdressed. Teagan and Sara flip a coin and Teagan gets stuck being the designated driver. Declan Jones is 39 years old, he's a successful developer and he has his own company with his friend, Reid. Declan sees Teagan across the room at the party and he immediately knows she's different than the other women he's used to meeting. The two of them talk for a while and when Declan asks her to come home with him Teagan figures life is too short so she agrees. They spend an amazing night together that will have lasting consequences. FAST FORWARD 3 YEARS : Declan and his business partner are in a meeting with their attorneys regarding a property they own and plan to develop. Environmentalists and their lawyers are arguing that the land is protected by certain city and state statutes designed to keep the city green. Declan is surprised when Teagan walks into the meeting and she works for the opposing legal team. She acts like she doesn't remember him because she's hiding a huge secret from him. Declan hasn't forgotten their night together and he determined to have more with her. Teagan was a selfish twat as far as I'm concerned for keeping Felix a secret from Declan all that time. Declan also pissed me off because he knew Felix was his and didn't do anything about it, like he didn't give a shit.

I wasn't sure what to think with this.
I wanted to read this due to the Dark romance aspect and the secret baby aspect as well but it really fell through for me.
If this was titled more of a BDSM book than a secret baby romance i think this would have been better but there really was not interaction with the child until the very end which was really disappointing.
It was pretty much about work and sex...thats literally it.
There was no real relationship build between any of the characters and they brought in random characters that really had no big role in the story, like they were there and then gone or barely mentioned again.
No sure if i will continue on. ( This edition comes with 4 additional books which i did not realize until i finished the first. Created this to have the book on its own.)

I think this is one of the most authentic secret baby stories I've read. It is sensitive in the handling of the information and respectful to the baby and mother. I am really impressed with this aspect of the book. The BDSM parts of Declan and Reagan's story are hot and their budding relationship exciting. The drama that circles them is a black cloud that hangs over their heads being on opposite sides of a lawsuit that eventually builds into something that is surprising. It definitely gets your blood pumping with anger, betrayal and hurt but, then the clouds part and the perfect happily ever after follows.

While her cousin invited her and her friend to this party at some well to do hot shots house, the mingling comes easy for her cousin who ditches Teagan and her friend right after walking in the door. Teagan has been named designated driver, so the friend is drinking and mingling more. This leaves Teagan alone, so she walks around and checks out the place a little bit. That is when she bumps into the one person that is about to turn her world upside down.
He is attending this party because he has to basically. When he spots this girl wandering around he knew something is different about her. He decides to take a casual walk around the place. She backs up right into him, couldn't have gone more perfect if her tried. Declan is drawn to this girl. He has met the one girl he never knew he wanted or would need.
That bumping into each other starts off a whole lot of things. Declan and Teagan have some drinks, talk, and then Teagan realizes she is a bit tipsy and is designated driver. Declan takes her outside, telling her it is for the fresh air, but it is more because he wants to be alone with her. He talks her into going with him to his place. Teagan after a kiss that melts her says yes. That one night stand that changed both of them happened two years ago.
Now Teagan is a lawyer, and shows up to a company that is being taken to court over environmental issues. Who happens to be sitting in the boardroom when she gets there a bit late. None other than Declan. He recognizes her right away. Once Teagan looks around the room she spots him. They both think of that night. Declan can't let her go, and definitely wants more with her. He has a dark secret, but Teagan does too.
Surprises start right away. Finding out a part of Teagan's secret happens quickly. But Teagan isn't fully introduced to Declan's secret just yet. They start seeing each other, even though it is unethical in this line of work. No business is discussed. Only personal, and it is definitely personal. Hot as hell doesn't seem to describe the chemistry these two share. Declan's secret is exposed a little bit at a time, but it seems to be something Teagan is okay with.
Lots and lots of personal time between these two happen, secrets are discovered but at first not by the person holding the secret. A twist happens when the supposed friend to Teagan pulls something at work. Without anyone else to go to, Teagan calls Declan. This is where some serious thoughts and all secrets are revealed, and feelings are there, both nervous and scared to utter them - yet.
Then to throw in another big surprise happens, and Declan's the one holding the cards on this one. This happens right at the same time that Teagan confronts the "friend" who may change her whole future. A meeting is called and when Teagan and "friend" get there the surprises really are exposed and told. This surprise is what leads into the happy ending that this couple have always wanted and definitely deserve. Even with all the secrets and surprises it is a well deserved happy ever after.

Another excellent story, with its combination of intrigue and sensuality. This was an interesting and exciting read; certainly a book I would have no hesitation in recommending. The unusual storyline, and the fact that Fate brought Teagan and Declan together, enhanced and added to the overall enjoyment of the romance; the two were together again, as they were meant to be, and richer for their experiences with one another.
The night Teagan first met Declan it changed her life explicitly. Even though Declan gave her one of the most intense and passionate nights of her life, she never saw him again, preferring to ignore his calls. Now 2-years later Fate brings the two together. Declan is having another meeting with the Lawyers; the project isn’t even his idea, it’s Reid’s. The two have known each other for years since partnering up to start their development firm. Reid feels really invested in the project, so Declan is not going to stop it and, while trying not to become involved, Declan will continue to back Reid up like he always has. What Declan believes is another wasted afternoon, suddenly takes an interesting turn. There in the room of Lawyers is Teagan, his one-night stand from 2-years ago; he definitely remembers her and it is obvious Teagan remembers their night of passion too. With Teagan working for the Environmental Lawyers, there is a conflict of interest; nevertheless, Teagan and Declan rekindle their passionate and unrelenting relationship, while trying to keep their business and personal lives separate, but it isn’t easy and is a complication in more ways than one. When Declan discovers Teagan has a 2-year old boy, Felix, who is the spitting image of him, he wonders why Teagan has never mentioned him and tries to entice her into talking about Felix and his father, but to no avail. The longer the two are together, and Teagan remains silent, the more intrigued Declan becomes and initiates his own attempt at getting to the truth; but Teagan has her own reasons why she hasn’t divulged any information about Felix. As negotiations between the Lawyers become more involved, and more devious, Teagan and Declan’s personal relationship is drawn into the affray and begins to suffer until Declan proposes an amicable solution; but is Reid prepared to listen to Declan and accept his outlandish proposal? Law student Teagan Fisher meets Declan Jones at a posh party one beautiful night, and the two bond instantly, their evening ending in such a memorable night together that neither have forgotten. Fast forward two years, and fate has them in the same place again, but this time, after Declan recognized her instantly, he is not going to let her go. He had actually tried to connect with Teagan again afterwards, but she never followed through after that one special night. With this second chance, however, Declan will really have his work cut out for him because his property development company is being held back by environmental lawyers wanting to preserve his company’s parcel of green space, and Teagan is now working on the other side of the table as one of the opposing lawyers.
For Teagan, it’s not going to be easy to deal with Declan now that he is back in her life, and he seems to want to wedge himself in. Teagan really doesn’t know what to do with the work-related conflict of interests, but even her mind wants what her body wants…because no one else has made her feel like he did in his arms. Once Declan brings on his real self and shows her what he is all about and what he wants from her, can Teagan continue to keep him at arms’ length, especially now that she realizes he has a right to know what made her push him away two years ago?
This was another enjoyable story from an author who knows how to deliver good characters, a great story, and steamy-hot scenes!

This is a love story with some intense sexy scenes between Declan and Teagan. They meet at a party when Teagan is in law school and Declan is a very successful wealthy man. Teagan ends up going home with him and Declan shows her what it’s like to be tied up! Declan tries to see Teagan again but she lets his calls go unanswered. Life and unexpected things happen and it’s two years later. Teagan has a job working with her best friend, a single mom and working hard on a big case. Once they both realize they are on opposite sides of a land deal do things get interesting. Declan has not forgotten their night together and does what he can to have Teagan again. Teagan knows she is hiding this secret but just does not have the peace of mind to share it yet. One night they go to dinner and when Declan drops her off at home a little boy pops his head out the door and Declan can not believe she has a son and he looks like him! While trying to figure out how to handle this new information he is full steam ahead to be Teagan’s “Daddy”. This is not your typical “Daddy” story, you’ll have to read it to find out how great the seduction can be between two people. Will Teagan lose her job over the conflict and will Declan step up and be a father or just make sure Teagan and Felix are taken care? Can Teagan fully allow Declan in to help support her or will her independance and strong determination keep them apart? The sex scenes show Declan has total control over Teagan, be ready for some very steamy scenes! I reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy and I am leaving a voluntarily review.

Teagan had the best sex of her life after meeting Declan at a party whilst a law graduate student. Fast forward two years, she's now working for a law firm saving the environment from developers. When she goes to a meeting her eyes find someone she's been avoiding for two years, Declan!
Declan can't believe that Teagan is in the same meeting as him, unfortunately she's the opposing counsel! He's thought of that one night regularly as no one has compared to her. He wants more now he's found her again.
Teagan goes out with Declan, the conversation flows then she realises she needs to get home to Felix. Declan takes her home just as Felix comes out to meet his mummy. There's something really familiar about him and he's about 2 years old! Is Felix his son?
Declan takes Teagan further and further into the BDSM world and she can't get enough, submitting and calling him "Daddy". He punishes her until she admits he's Felix's dad, even though he knows after all he did hire a private investigator!
When Teagan's boss finds out from Sara, of all people, about her relationship with Declan she's given an ultimatum, Declan or the case/job! She asks Declan to drop the case.
Declan needs Reid to drop the case to save his relationship with Teagan and Felix. He offers him the majority shares in the business which Reid accepts. Declan goes to Teagan's office demanding a meeting with her boss Jerry with a new proposal. Also he makes him take Sara off the case and Teagan keeps her job as he loves her and wants to be with her and a dad to Felix!

Secret baby, second chance...4.5 stars!
Declan Jones and Reid Nash are long time friends and successful co-owners in a property development company. It’s at a meeting of lawyers, both representing his company and the opposing team that he sees her. Two years ago he met beautiful, sultry Teagan Jones at a party. Back then she’d been a law student and now she’s more stunning, much more curvier than he remembered. Declan never forgot that passionate night together.
Teagan never thought she would ever cross paths with Declan Jones again. Now a lawyer specializing in environmental issues, her job is everything to her. And Felix, her little boy. That one night together resulted in a secret, but she never wanted to burden Declan unfairly with a kid so she never told him. But everyday she sees the spitting image of Declan. And he suspects Teagan is keeping the truth from him. The lawsuit complicates things between them as Declan and Teagan need to keep their affair secret. But still, he’s got his wicked ways to extract the truth from her. Declan shows Teagan more of his domination and this time around he’s going to be Daddy Dom to her submissive.
I enjoyed Teagan and Declan’s story and the resolution to the road block into their relationship. Declan finds a chance at love with Teagan. And finally wanting a family together. Wonderful Daddy/little girl role play with exciting, intense BDSM elements. Great job, Ms. Hamel.

I enjoyed Teagan and Declan’s story and the resolution to the road block into their relationship. Declan finds a chance at love with Teagan. And finally wanting a family together. Wonderful Daddy/little girl role play with exciting, intense BDSM elements. Great job, Ms. Hamel.

BB Hamel is one of those authors that you know you can rely on to have written a book that will be a winner and real page turner. She creates realistic characters with the necessary detail that they seem to come alive as you read through the story. In Daddy's Baby, we meet Declan who is a womaniser in that he tends to see a woman once and that's enough for him. But then he meets Teagan who is a law student and once is just not enough for him but she disappears. Little does he know that she has a secret now that will always keep him in her thoughts. Two years later they come across each other through work where he is being accused of irregularities in his development business. Can she keep her secret or will she tell him? The attraction between them is off the scale which may make your Kindle sizzle they are so HOT. Her steamy scenes are fantastic to read and realistic. In fact, all her books are realistic which is probably why I and so many others love her stories. This is one of her best books yet, but then I always say that and it's because it's true. Grab yourself this story as the bonus materials are fabulous too - I know this as even though I was given an arc of the book I purchased it as its is so good. This feisty woman is now an environmental lawyer involved in a suit against Declan's company but the suit is driven by his partner, Reid. Declan has never forgotten his night with Teagan-he called her but she never returned his calls-and now he sees a second chance. Teagan's up for more hot encounters and is embracing the BDSM lifestyle. Declan's a smart guy, and he hopes that if he plays it slowly, he'll get the woman, the son, and the life he didn't know he needed. There are secrets and betrayals and through it all, the couple lean on each other and slowly start building their future together. I really loved that the characters maintained their integrity and respected their differences in light of their differing positions, unlike Reid and Sara. Great story, loved the characters, would love to find out more about the mysterious Marta!

Intensity set to high in this new book by B.B. Hamel!
A full on alpha mix with a sweet heat and heart squeeze read- I was captivated by the hot, witty storyline right from the very start.
Teagan and Declan are a spark-inducing combustible pair that I could not get enough of!
I am not one who is generally into the "Daddy" books a whole lot, but being that it was B.B Hamel's book I knew I had to give it at least a try, I am so glad I did.
Exceptionally passion-driven, with a few darker "Daddy" scenes, I was surprised and excited, for me this was the perfect mixture of a secret baby romance and the darker side of romance!
Well written, with great characters, I was sad to see this one end!

This is another phenomenal story from this extremely talented author. Teagan is a law student, and Declan is a rich property developer, and they end up having a one night stand, with unexpected results. Now Teagan is an environmental lawyer, and she meets Declan again when he and his partner are being accused of damaging the environment. The chemistry is still explosive between them, but will it be the end of their relationship when secrets are exposed? No spoilers; this is a definite must read, you will never be disappointed with this author’s work. This story has it all, as it is a kinky, steamy, and passionate story, which had me hooked throughout. I always highly recommend this authors’ work as she is one of the few whose work just keeps getting better and better! Brilliant story!

Declan and Teagan have a one night stand together and neither of them can forget each other. Fast forward two years and this is where their story takes off again. Teagan is just an amazing, strong woman. She works and does her best to support her child on her own. Then she runs into Declan. That attraction is still there, but should she tell him about the child? If only life and love was as easy as we try to make it out to be. They do however have extremely steamy scenes, the romance is real, the storyline is intriguing, and the HEA satisfying. I highly recommend this story. BB Hamel never disappoints and this is another must read of hers. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Teagan and Declan ! I loved these two. They meet by chance at a party and hit it off and have an amazing night together! Two years later, they see each other again. They are enemies due to a deal that Declan and his friend Reid are trying to get approved. However, they still manage to find a way to separate work and personal from their lives. Teagan is also keeping a secret from Declan that will change everything. Teagan is a sweet, yet strong woman. Declan is a strong independent older man who knows what he wants. These two have amazing chemistry and I loved that the author let that chemistry grow before they fell in bed together again. This is a must read!

Declan and Teagan have a very complicated story. Secrets, a betrayal of someone close to her, conflict on professional level. Declan is sweet with a very dominant personality. Teagan is independent and cautious. I would have loved to see more interaction between Declan and their child and the resolving of the secret that was being kept. It just felt as if it was resolved to easily. But overall it was a very interesting and very well written story. I really do love reading all B.B's story's and can't wait for the next one.

This was a good read. The writing flows well, and the characters are developed. The only thing that knocks this down for me is Teagan. I know this is a "secret" baby romance, but to me, there better be a very good reason as to why you don't tell someone that they have a child. Her reasoning was selfish, and in her thoughts, she says that Felix is her son, not his even if he is the father. Sorry honey, but that's not how is works. Eventually I warmed up to her, but it took awhile. Teagan and Declan are good together, and they have great chemistry. I was happy to finally see them get past everything and get their HEA. I always look forward to what comes next from this author.

B.B Handel has done it again what a great read . Tegan has decided to go a boring rich people party with her friend to see if she meet some new people what she did execept was to meet a dark and handsome man that would take more than her breath away. Declan has had his share of women ,but the moment he sees tegan he realizes that she is someone he has to have . Tegan and Declan have more feelings for one another that when they meet two years later it is as if they were never apart there is just one little secret that tegan has that she is doesn't want to tell. I received this book as a arc for an honest review and I can say that this book is a great read and one you won't want miss .

The heat from this story is downright palpable! The compelling story of a one nightstand that has unexpected repercussions will literally hold every iota of your attention till you find out how the "secret" is revealed! Secondary to that is the question of can our hero stand aside and not influence his partner and his lover's decisions and not be "burned" by the results and yet solve a predicament that could affect his happily ever after! I love this authors and always look forward to her books. As to be expected, this book was well written and had a interesting storyline that draw you in and kept you reading. Plenty of hot steamy scenes and great likable characters. Teagan and Declan met and had a one night stand, which unbeknownst to Declan had resulted with a pregnancy. Two years later they bump into each other again, this time on opposite sides in a law suit. Again chemistry between them is still strong, and Declan is going to find out he is a father.
