Bueno este libro traía 3 historias las reseñare por separado para no perderme en el hilo.

La Leyenda de Sleepy Hollow: Esta trata del jinete sin cabeza que aparece por los linderos de una iglesia algo apartada del poblado, me pareció interesante porque Ichabod, el maestro del pueblo es bastante supersticioso y a su vez tambien es algo pretensioso con sus estudiantes aunque muy humilde entre las familias que lo acogen. La lectura va in crescendo desde el comienzo. En un inicio se nos describe el pueblo al que nos vamos a meter para poder conocer esta historia que va en boca de todos. Esta idea de mensaje oral y cultural crea un fantasma a partir del imaginario de los pobladores. Me gusta mucho este concepto porque me remonta a un tiempo atrás en el que era común en los pueblos esta característica de pensar que existían fantasmas o criaturas que rondaba por las cercanías de sus hogares. Buen libro, pero muy lento de leer. Me gustaron mucho las referencias a lugares y monumentos españoles. Creo que se debe leer con mucha paciencia, de a pocos, para evitar desesperarse como yo. Recomendable.

Buena historia, corta pero interesante. Si te gustan las historias de suspenso, este relato corto es una buena opción y además es un clásico de la literatura norteamericana.
