Oliver is pretty ordinary. He likes toys, waffles, and his favorite blanket. However, while celebrating his fifth birthday Oliver comes face to face with a real life monster. From what his older brother's told him Oliver should be afraid, but his fear is only matched by his curiosity. It's never a good idea to look for a monster, but if you do, you better be ready to find it...
This is the cutest book I have seen in a long time. It is not only cute but it is an Educator's dream for teaching aspects of character and Multicultural education, vocabulary, sequence of events, understanding the passage of time ,and comparison and contrast. It's well-written and beautifully Illustrated .You can read it for pleasure or use it as a teaching tool. Either way it's a hit.
