Diane Thompson wakes up in the backseat of her car, shocked to find she’s acquired a chauffeur. Realizing she’s been inadvertently kidnapped, she swears off tequila—and Chili’s—then dials 9-1-1. So yea, color me impressed. This is the authors debut novel, and it was really rather enjoyable. It reminded me of an old school KA novel without it being a copy. That said, there were a few issues that had me dropping stars. Especially the farther the book went on and the ending felt incomplete with a couple loose ends.

The writing was very good in this one. Especially for it being a debut novel. It had a nice flow to it. It was easy to read. The story is told mainly fro ...more

This is my nod to action-adventure films, alpha heroes, soap operas and the wallflowers who find love in the craziest and most unexpected ways. :)
Some little-known tidbits about the making of the book:
1) Cole, the hero, is named in honor of Julian McMahon's character Cole Turner from Charmed. (I loved him. Like LOVED him. I cried the day Cole and Phoebe broke up. I was never able to finish the series after that.)
2) Some of the incidents in the book are based on real events. One of my favorite sh ...more

Not your usual romance or romantic heroine. This book moves along very quickly and you just have to hand on for the ride. Great character development and lots of humor. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

What a fresh voice.
A unique, relatable heroine with an hilarious, snarky, unstoppable attitude. An intense, amazing hero who adored her. And a great set of supporting characters who were well-drawn and perfectly imperfect. This book will have you laughing while your toes curl.
Great writing, fast pace and a twisty plot combine to make this book pure enjoyment. I'd recommend it to anyone who loves to laugh. If you're looking for a fresh spin on romance, Nicole Terry has provided it. ...more

I feel like this book had so much promise but it fell short. So very short. There really was too much going on at one time. It just felt rushed and ridiculous. The thing that really bothered me the most though was Cole. It was like this character stepped back in time to a period when it was okay to order women around and physically move them where you want them to be. It's not okay. It's not sexy or flirty. He was a guy who stalked her for a month and then decided to physically and emotionally i

3.5-star read
Some people are just magnets for disaster and Diane Thompson is just such a magnet. A simple dinner out with her cousin has her attempting to sleep off too much tequila and ends up with an inadvertent kidnapping when her car is stolen by drug dealers. Why her car? Well, it was one of the few left in the lot and it was an older vehicle without all the whistles and bells and therefore easier to steal. Little did the thieves know that there was someone in the back seat hidden by all of ...more

First book by Nicole Terry. It was good read and while I liked the premises and the characters it would have liked to see something more. Not sure what it was missing for me but something. But I will definitely check out the next in the series and it was a fun ride with Diane and Cole. But at times I struggled with with them as a couple because Cole seemed to be doing all the work. He had cut his hair because he over heard Diane saying that she like it. Diane just seemed obvious to him until her

We all need a little Diane Thompson in our lives!!! And the hilarious, real, fresh, and fun voice of author Nicole Terry. Another reviewer called the characters in CRAZY ON YOU "perfectly imperfect," and I couldn't agree more. Everyone here makes mistakes--lots of them--but you will cheer them on as they learn and grow and get into more zany adventures. I want this to be a TV show, STAT!
