I've read all of this author's books and I always look forward to a new release from her! This book sounded amazing and I was very excited to read it! I then received an ARC from the author and I had just finished my current read, so I was able to read this book straightaway! After reading this book, I can say that I really enjoyed it! The plot developed at the perfect pace and it kept me intrigued and wanting to read on! I really enjoyed the direction that the author took it in, even though it ...more

Thanks so much Micalea for my ARC!

Wild Collision is book 1 in the Wild Series and book 4 in the Us Series. I really enjoyed Wild Collision and can't wait to read more books in the Wild Series. I loved Mia and Hollis.

I hadn’t read a Micalea Smeltzer book in a while and only a few chapters into Wild Collision I realized how much I missed her words. She writes such amazing new adult romance books! This first novel in The Wild Series had everything I enjoy in this genre: humor, a couple with great chemistry and flirty banters, feelings and steamy scenes! Even if I wasn’t familiar with the Willow Creek Series which this new one is a spin-off of, it didn’t affect my connection to

If you are a fan of Micalea Smeltzer's Willow Creek series like I am, then you are going to fall in love with The Wild series! I absolutely adored Take A Chance, Hayes and Arden's story, so I was super excited that their daughter Mia was getting her own story because I love reading about the next generation.

Wild Collision was a beautifully captivating story full of hot and steamy chemistry between Mia Hayes and Hollis Wilder (the lead singer of t

"I thought one song would be enough. I've been sorely mistaken. Nothing, no amount of words in the entire universe, in any language, spoken in any tongue, is enough to encompass everything Mia is."
Hollis wasn't anything I was expecting. He somehow manages to be sinful and sweet. I was never one of those girls that dreamt about a guy writing her a song. But after reading this book I will be. I want a guy to love me some much that he can't help but put it into song, because spoken words ju

This book!😍😍😍😍😍 Be still my beating heart. Micalea took me on yet another delightful journey and I wish I could go back to the beginning and start from the beginning. Just so I could feel the rush that is falling for Hollis all over again. This was the first book in a spin-off of the Willow Creek series. I was able to see some of my favorite characters. It was beautiful.

We start off with Hollis Wilder, the singer of the Wilder and playboy extraordinaire. We see him enjoying his playboy rock star

Sweetly forbidden, took a little while to get myself into it, but once it started rolling, I enjoyed it immensely. The rag tag bunch that is The Wild made me laugh, and I can only hope that some stories will come from those boys at some point. As for Mia and Hollis, it was pretty instantaneous, but a no-no fro

I've always been a big fan of Micalea from the beginning.
I was so excited when I found out it was a spinoff to Willow Creek series! Fangirling moment.....😍

The chemistry between Hollis & Mia were off the charts! More sexy scenes than what I'm use to reading but overall had a great story & loved the banter between the guys! I

I really tried to fall in love with this book. Most books take me a day or two to read because I get so sucked it. I did like this book and as with all of micaleas books it was very well written. The story line just didn’t have the wow I was looking for. I loved EVERY SINGLE ONE of the characters and was amazed by them individually. Like how in the heck do you come up with Cannon? Hollis is just well and truly whipped, "She smiles at each of us and leaves the room. The urge to follow her is strong, strong enough I nearly fall off the couch fighting it." Mia likes to take initiative at times, “do the mornings make you horny or something?” I choke out as her hand wraps around me." let me just say this.
i love many of Micalea’s characters.

Trenton, Mathias, Xander and Liam the most.
Liam Wade tops them all.

Hollis Wilder has become a dangerously close 2nd.

there isn’t anything that’s not amazing about him, including his filthy and super hot mouth.

he is book boyfriend material to the letter.
Mia is everything a good heroine is.
their story is steamy, chaotic and incredible.

Wild Collision is Micalea’s best work to date.

Book started out ok for about 15% anyway before it turned into a 22 year old Mia, daughter of Hayes, Guitarist in the previous series Willow Creek and record producer for Wild, whine-fest. For Hollis' part, the 25 year old lead singer of Wild with ONE song under his belt - is a known manwhore but he realizes with one meeting that Mia is like no one he's ever f@#$ed before - by the way that meeting was Mia bumping into him coming out of her shower at her parents house. From the moment they meet, Mia Hayes and Hollis Wilder's journey is a wild one. Neither one was looking for a relationship. But what they find between each other is so much more then either could have ever expected to come into their lives.

Mia Hayes is focused on school, working, and putting in work towards her dream career. The last thing she needs is the cocky, sexy, lead singer for The Wild, the new band her father Hayes, drummer for Willow Creek, has signed. Mia finds herself wanting to pun

Wow this was a little hot!

Wow was this steamy and good. There was a few parts that were a little bit much for me, but I liked it. Mia and Hollis’s story is addicting and I loved having Hayes, Mia’s dad a part of the book to. I love all the old characters from Willows Creek, and love when we get to see what their up to now. It’s always hard to let them go.

Sweet, swoony, and funny, Wild Collision was a fun read. There were some things that didn’t quite work for me, but I could definitely see the appeal of Mia and Hollis for someone else. I didn’t quite feel their connection as deeply as I hoped, but I could feel that it may have been headed in that direction with a little more time.

Mia and Hollis had great banter; I always feel like the best relationships are rooted in couples who can communicate freely and having a good back and forth is a backbo

Oh my Hollis! This beauty truly captivated me from beginning to end. I can’t imagine any romance lover not being pulled into this story. The angsty push and pull of these two wanting each other but knowing it’s forbidden was a sexy love affair that danced across the pages and into my heart.

I love love love this author and all the books associated with The Willow Creek Series. I have to admit that the Willow Creek series is one of the first series that I read on my kindle. I was an adamant paperback gal. That's a completely different post. Once I finished reading the last book from Willow Creek. I wanted to know what happened to the bassist's adopted daughter Mia. Overall, this novel wasn't at all bad. The characters and entire plot flow well, however, it was missing the big wow factor for me.

Mia and Hollis were good characters. I liked their stubbornness and independence. Both of them had scorching chemistry which made me fan myself, however, I really missed the connection between Mia and Hollis. I couldn't relate to Mia and Hollis as a couple. I could never understand why they were good together

Micalea Smeltzer is one of my favorite go-to authors and one I never fail to recommend to people needing a new book to read but Wild Collision did not captivate me like her earlier books. I liked it and enjoyed it and I can't believe I am saying this but it needed just a little bit more substance and less sex.It was very well-written, like all of Micalea's books, but I wanted more storyline and background to go with the chemistry between Mia and Hollis.

Mia is the adopted daughter of a one of the members of the famous band Willow Creek and is working with him in his recording studio while going to college full time.
Hollis is the lead singer of a band called The Wild. He and his band are in town to record with Mia’s dad at the studio. They’ve been warned to behave and not get into trouble,

This story was exceptional, from the well played out plot and twists, to the characters who grow throughout, and all the little details. Mia Hayes, daughter of famous Josh Hayes, guitarist for Willow Creek, (who is makes an appearance in the well-loved series of the same name,) is a college student working towards a career in music with out any handouts from her father’s fame. Hollis Wilder is a bad boy, music enthusiast, and the lead vocals in the up and coming band The Wild. Whe

I've been a long-time fan of Micalea Smeltzer, and one thing I can always count on is a well-written, heart and soul story with characters that you simply can't get enough of. It felt like Micalea was in her element with Wild Collision. Seriously, this is one of her best yet and I can't wait to see where she takes this series!

Characters can either make or break a story and this cast of characters is spot on! Hollis and Mia made me want more and

We get an opportunity to start out meeting Mia Hayes. Who is she? What do we learn about her family? What does it sound like she is trying to convince us of at the beginning of the book, or maybe herself? Who is Hollis Wilder? What is his outlook on life? As we get into the book, something made me smile as I realized it. Getting to know the members of "The Wild" is interesting. As the story moves on, I find myself liking Hollis more and more. Great beginning to an awesome set of characters

I'm very excited about this series. Not only do you get the Willow Creek guys, at times, but you get another great band with one-liners that crack you up and make you beg for more.

Hollis and Mia are just too much. Reading about Mia, now all grown up is just so perfect, because she is a fighter and can dish it out with the best. These two fall for each other quickly, but their story is great. It's amazing to see a manwhore like Hollis fall head over

This was a strange book for me. I liked Hollis and I liked Mia, but I felt there was a bit of a disconnect. I felt their ages, 25 and 22/23 respectively wasn’t how their characters, and situation, read. It felt more of a new adult (late teens, very early 20’s) feel, rather than this is straight contemporary. Further to that, I felt the sex and the kink (not much, don’t stress) didn’t fit with the characters either.
I was also a bit confused with the Hayes thing at the end. The bonus

I absolutely LOVE Micalea Smeltzer's writing. I know that any time I start one of her books, I am getting a complete read with all the feels. The words flow effortlessly, and the book is over before you realize it. THAT is the mark of a great author, and it happens every single time I read her books. Mia and Hollis were crazy cute together, and I had no problem believing that he was worthy of her love. Did Hayes overreact just a tad when he found out about their relationship? Well DUH, but hello ...more
