“those eyes are the kind you swipe right for, you know?”

I know I’m a broken record after I read a J. Kenner book, but I absolutely can not get enough of this series. I’m going to need a contest of my own to whittle down my own winner. I loved, loved, loved Mr. July. There was such a sense of maturity in building this relationship. Real emotions, fears, hopes, struggles, support and chemistry.

“You must be somebody.” “Oh, I am.” “Who?” He leaned forward, his expression so intense it made her hear

The Man of the Month series all started when the local bar called The Fix on Sixth, owned by Tyree, was on the verge of closing. Long time friends Jenna, Reece, and Brent jump in to invest in the bar and come up with ways to raise money and to bring more customers in.

One of those ideas was to hold a Calendar of the Month contest in the bar focusing on local celebrities. Each book in the series represents the man of that month and this one is Derek and Amanda's story.

These two met at the bar and

After the last two books in this series I wasn’t sure what I expected and well they were a bit dull, you know but this one here is much better. It also happens over the time span of a year so you know none of that instant shite going on. But saying that it could have been more.

Amanda has been burnt by an ex and has put her love life on the backburner but her sex life that’s one she’s all for keeping that active. She lost ground on her career as her boss thought that s

Turn Me On is the seventh book in J. Kenner’s Man of the Month series, and it’s another winner. I’ve been a fan of this series since book one, yet each additional book sucks me in ever deeper. I find myself desperately awaiting the release of the next book, counting down the days until it appears on my Kindle. Each time a new one appears, I devour it, starting the cycle all over again. They’re the perfect books to binge read, and I’m almost annoyed with myself for deciding to read them as they’r ...more

The Man of the Month series is just getting hotter and hotter. Derek and Amanda's story was an amazingly quick read. I loved how it carried on through the whole series, right from the beginning of the contests.

Derek was a man on a mission to win the heart of Amanda. One night a month wasn't cutting it for him. After a near tragedy, he decided that the hamster wheel of his life just wasn't what he wanted anymore. He needs to find a way to get Amanda to open up to him, to give him her heart and t

"Friends with Ultra Benefits."

This is most definitely a 'binge-reading-worthy' series. Each book is about a different couple, but they also include the other characters that were introduced in previous books. Sometimes the timelines overlap and you get to enjoy seeing a situation from a different character's POV. But what you will most definitely enjoy in every single book is a passionate connection and a group of awesome support characters that never run out of witty banter to keep you entert

TURN ME ON by J. Kenner is book Seven in the Man of the Month series. This is the story of Derek and Amanda. This book is easily a standalone book I thought.
Amanda and Derek got together once a month when Derek came in to town which has been going on for about a year. Amanda was hurt by a past relationship with also lost her some ground with her career so not wanting to commit it seem the perfect hookup. Derek to has been all about work but he has been taken with Amanda from the first sight. Bu

Turn Me On by J. Kenner is the seventh installment to the Man of the Month series and can most definitely be read as a standalone. So now onto the review of Mr. July. I must say things are sizzling hot especially when Kenner writes a story that centers on two individuals who shares a connection. Amanda and Derek have this understanding that their hookups are meant to be just casual. No strings attached. No feelings. Just casual sex when De

With each novel in the Man of the Month series, it can be a little confusing as to where the characters connect within the series. Saying that Julie does an amazing job of refreshing the memory and reconnecting the reader to the story as a whole within the first few pages.

Turn Me On focuses on Amanda, best friend to Jenna (Down On Me) as well as incredibly career-driven in her real estate profession. However, her previous relationship ended in abandonment and affected her career in the process,

Turn Me On is book seven in Kenner's Man of the Month series. I am really enjoying these quick reads about each man and the woman that wins their heart.

In this book, Amanda and Derek have always had this thing where they got together once a month when they were both in town and it never went further than that and they both liked it that way.

Amanda doesn't want anything serious due to her previous issues and is focused on her career. However, Derek is looking for more when he moves to Austin.

Mr. July is up in J. Kenner’s Man of the Month series, and this time around, Kenner shakes things up a bit because Derek and Amanda’s relationship doesn’t follow the quick and dirty timeframe that many of the other couples experienced; in fact, their monthly hook ups have been occurring for almost a year, and while their relationship was limited based on their once a month sexual encounters, with Derek’s recent move to Austin, Derek and Amanda now have a chance to make things a bit more permanen ...more

TURN ME ON by J. Kenner is book Seven in the Man of the Month series. This is the story of Derek and Amanda. This is a part of the series but can be read as a standalone. These two met at the bar The Fix and had an instant chemistry/attraction. Mr. July can totally have my heart! If friends with benefits is your thing then this is the story for you!

If you have been keeping up with the series then you will recognize Amanda from her brief appearance in her brother’s love story in Start Me Up (Book 4).

So Amanda has some series trust issues when it comes to men, especially men who impact her career. That’s why this story can only be described as slow burn relationship story. As it takes a veeeery long time for Derek to chip away at all th

5 Star Review Turn me On (Man of the Month #7) by J Kenner
The seventh book in the series and is Amanda and Derek’s story and wow what a story. Another fun quick story which flowed well and was a wonderful read; in fact this may now be my favourite so far in the series.
This series has fast become one of my go to series, with each story unique and different. In Turn Me On, Amanda and Derek meet by chance and a one night stand, turns into a regular monthly booty call, or is it?

Turn Me On is my favorite (so far) in the MOTM series. (Do I say that with every book I read in this series??? LOL) I adore Amanda and Derek! These two had the same thing in mind...one and done. No strings attached. But with the one night they had, they could not get enough of each other. I loved that they had so much chemistry and need that has these tow nearly ripping each others clothes off when they get together. Turn me on is my favorite book in the series so far! It was way shorter than the other stories, but it worked out for me. It didn't leave a lot of room for drama and I was happy with what we got. I liked Amanda and Derek's relationship and how they worked everything out even when they were meeting once per month. The story takes place in the span of several months and it begins about a year ago which means that everything started before anyone knew that The fix was in trouble and the man of the ...more

Turn Me On was a great and exciting romance and one of my favs out of the Man Of The Month series.

Derek and Amanda have one night of passion that turns into a year of stolen kisses, monthly meetings full of steaminess and passion.

And while they say that long distance can be hard on a romance in this case it is anything but. At the end of the last book we see them run into each other at The Fix on Fifth. It’s clear that they know each other.

This book takes us back to the beginning and we get t

J. Kenner is keeping things exciting in her latest book in the Man of the Month series. With Turn Me On, a sexy businessman surprised himself by falling hard for a local real estate agent who was intent on keeping things in the casual category. And watching it all play out was wickedly delicious.

Turn Me On somehow turned up the heat on an already smexy series, taking a one-night stand trope and turning it into a full fledged roman

Boy is it heating up this summer with the seventh book in the Man of the Month series. This is one of my favorite series and the books just keep getting more seductive. Derek is the heir to a hotel chain and is a reformed playboy. He is focusing on work and does not have time for relationships. However, one night he sees Amanda at the Fix on Sixth bar. His switch is flipped and he is determined to have her. Amanda is a career driven woman especially after she allowed her ex-boyfriend to impair h ...more

I have enjoyed all of the titles in this series. But, as I have noted before, I tend to enjoy more the ones that take place outside of The Fix on 6th, which this one does. I am not sure why, but I think I like the idea that they feel more like inter connected standalone novels with recurring characters than part of one large story.

Amanda and Derek have a long standing "when we are both inaustin" long standing affair. Both of them are aware

Amanda and Derek find their own instant chemistry after their eyes meet across the bar at The Fix, even though they do not talk until leaving. What could have been creepy turned out to be the start of a year long, once a month hook up. Slow simmer? Not so much when they have more contact than most couples do who live in the same town by constant texts, calls, and Skype. Amanda has been burned in the past by getting involved and then losing out and vows to not get involved in a relationship again ...more

This is the seventh book in the series, but takes us back in time a little, which is really fun. I would recommend that you read them in order, and if you've not started the series yet, then you are in for a fun treat indeed.

I have really enjoyed this series. I have really loved the Man of the Month theme.

I have liked Amanda throughout the series and was looking forward to seeing her story and was quite intrigued after seeing a glimpse at Derek in the previous book.

I loved the build up of Derek and Amanda's relationship. Whilst it started all hot and steamy then developed into a hook-up/friends with benefits type arrangement you could really feel the love building up between them seeping off the pages.

The next instalment in this fantastic series starts as a prequel, but quickly pulls us into the current day.

After being broken in both her work life and love life, Amanda is now career focused (even if it looks like she is off playing the field to mend her broken heart). Sitting at the local bar, The Fix, she catches the eye of a some hottie across the room. Luckily, he caught her eye back and the two end up having a toe-curling one night stand... that has a repeat button.
