If you are looking for a fun chick-lit or rom-com read, look no further. This is part of a new series called Return to Christmas Falls with each book written by different authors. I've read several books by Susan Hatler and have enjoyed them all. She never fails to deliver a fun, humorous, romantic and swoony read, usually with some emotional moments thrown in to make the characters real and relatable.

Morgan has finally done it, she's take that final step that will seal her fate in her mother's

I always enjoy Susan Hatler's books. She writes charming contemporary romances that are usually low-angst, sweet, not too heavy on sexual content, and charming. I figured with her name, a second chance romance (my favorite!), and a Christmas story I couldn't go wrong.

26-year-old Morgan Reed has just finished beauty school and is ready to return to her charming little home town Christmas Falls and open her own

Oh how I still LOVE Forever Yours in Christmas Falls! It's SO good! If you haven't read it or the other books in the Return to Christmas Falls series then you are missing out! Add it to your list! You can thank me later.. ;) Hehe.

October 2017:

Morgan Reed's life is not her own. Everything she has ever done, has been for her parents. And she is miserable! She does not want to get her MBA and she does not want to work in her parents bank. Ever since she was a little girl, the only

This was a sweet coming home story! Morgan has always done what her mother wants, but she’s had enough. Moving back home after eight years away, she’s decided to open her own beauty salon. (Wasn’t sure how her parents didn’t realize she never got an MBA, surely they would have wondered about her graduation, classes, etc). Only snag, the building owner mistakenly leased on the same building to Dallas Parker! Her high school crush and town bad boy. Neither is willing to budge and end up opening a ...more

(4.5 Stars) I love a hilarious first meet, but what makes this one even better is that it's actually a re-meet. Dallas was one of Morgan's older brother's best friends and although her mother blames him for a tragedy in the family, Morgan has always had a little crush. And that meet was a great way to start the story.

Although this story had some sizzling chemistry, there are some deeper issues that both Dallas and Morgan have to work through and some of them are seriously intimidating. I grew up

Morgan is returning to Christmas Falls - not to work at the bank like her parents think, but to open her own hair salon. Morgan has done everything in her life to please her parents until she secretly used her trust money to go to cosmetology school instead of pursuing an MBA.

Morgan is surprised when she goes to check out her rental property for her salon, and discovers Dallas Parker - her brother's best friend. She is not happy to find out that he thinks he is renting the same property for his

The story goes thus; Morgan comes home to Christmas Falls to open a salon and finds herself co-leasing the place with her childhood crush, Dallas and sparks literally fly…

A second book in the Christmas Falls series and written by Susan Hatler, this is far better than the first book. Susan Hatler has made her main character Morgan feel the helplessness of being stuck between family and love. She has made Morgan a strong character who is loyal to both her family and Dallas.

Morgan is a cosmetolog

Susan Hatler proves yet again with this book just why I love her! Her books always give me butterflies and swoony feelings with flirty banter and fun characters. And Dallas? Um, hello. Morgan and I may have a crush on him together. He's just full of strong manly traits that are so attractive!

It's always satisfying to see a character find the strength to follow their dreams and Morgan definitely does that in this book. She has tried to fit the mold her mother has for her but it's never been what

I Picked Up This Book Because: Wanted a quick read

The Characters:

Morgan Reed:
Dallas Parker:
Ruby, Conner, Mr & Mrs Reed, Ms Anna Cate

The Story:

The set up was ideal to me. Morgan is moving home to Christmas Falls to open a salon. Through an accident her salon space is rented to both her and her childhood crush Dallas Parker. This is right up my alley however the things I didn’t count on were the spectre of Morga

A Christmas Mix-Up

Morgan Reed comes back to her hometown, Christmas Falls, Tennessee, to open her own beauty salon. Somehow there is a mix-up and an old friend, Dallas Parker, also has a lease on the building for his furniture store.

I loved watching Morgan and Dallas work through this problem. It was immature, but also funny to watch Morgan hiding from her overbearing mother who doesn’t know that Morgan is a beautician. There were plenty of awkward and laugh out loud moments.

I loved how Dallas a

-‘A furniture store and a beauty salon don’t mix.”-‘

This is Morgan’s story. Morgan returns to Christmas Falls to open her beauty salon. The problem is, when she arrives, she discovers that her landlady has rented the space to her brother’s best friend - as well as to Morgan. How will they possibly work things out? A furniture store and a beauty salon can’t possibly share the same space... or can they?

Mmm... Dallas was so sexy! Loved the romance in this story.

Romance, clean
Cute fun romance, with some twists. Morgan and Dallas' coming together in the shop they each think they have full rights too is a cute compromise and a fall that was fun to read. Their pasts, linked together by a tragedy in Morgan's family that Dallas is connected too, made this all the more poignant and real.
Fun chemistry, lovely setting with small town character and charm, the teacher who they come back to support, just altogether a fun read. I always love reading characters that

This was a quick, easy read and a decent way to pass time. However, I didn’t really connect to either of the main characters and didn’t really care for the drama that ensued towards the end. I would have loved to see more growth for Morgan throughout the book rather than her finally standing up for herself at the very end.

I really enjoy reading Susan Hatler and, even though this wasn’t a favorite of mine, I will continue to read her in the future.

I am in love with this series and I want to inhale each one. I seriously can't read them fast enough. This story is just good. It makes me forget how stressful this holiday season is already getting. I get to sit back for a little bit and walk in someone else's shoes.

Thank you, NetGalley for letting me read this book.

Forever Yours in Christmas Falls is an emotionally packed romance that touches on so much more than the growing love between Morgan and Dallas. There is a family dynamic here that may not precisely fit every family, but I feel most of us can relate. For years now Morgan has, on the surface, conformed to her mother’s demands of her life. She dressed the part, associated with the right people, and lived a life that wasn’t truly her own. Her rebellions were her circle o

Boy did I recognize Morgan Reed, the heroine of Forever Yours in Christmas Falls, and her interactions with her family. And Dallas Parker is the hero, slightly tarnished – at least in his own eyes and that of the town – who comes back into Morgan’s life, in a big way. I didn’t find the story to be your typical holiday story but instead, two people learning about Christmas in their own hearts. Morgan and Dallas have complicated pasts with personal issues that stand between them and their HEA. I l ...more

It was the sweetest most romantic story ever!! The title is perfect for this book. I enjoyed reading Morgan's story. It was so lovely how coming back home threw her into a whirlwind of emotions and memories. I liked how she was able to overcome everything and put her foot down to follow her heart. As always the ending was sweet, romantic as well as unexpected!! I mean I didn't see that coming!!! The " mix up" with the lease, brilliant!!! Thank you Susan Hatler for a

FOREVER YOURS IN. CHRISTMAS FALLS by Susan Hatler Hatco Publishers
Morgan coming home to clean house, of old patterns, and to stand up to her mother. To do what she wants to do for a change. That is to open a beauty salon, then there is the mix up there, it's already rented. He would have to be someone she had a crush on in high school. Could they jointly have a business together, doesn't seem like furniture would go with her beauty shop. Landlord out of town, old feud, and blame for it, causes p

Let me just start by saying that I LOVED this new novel out by Ms. Hatler. I'm a huge fan of all her work, and this book held true to her work. It was sweet, clean and had lots of romance. I love the two main characters - Morgan and Dallas. There was just the right amount of their shared history thrown into their current situation and romance to make a perfect storyline. While I got frustrated with Morgan not standing up for herself a few times, I loved the opportunity that ended up creating for ...more

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley for an honest review.

This was my first time reading a book by Susan Hatler and it was an easy, sweet read. Morgan is coming back home to open a hair salon, but her brothers old friend Dallas rented the same space. I really found Dallas to be a great guy, I would have loved his POV but I thought the author did a good job of letting us into his head by the conversations he had with Morgan. I liked Morgan, but the guilt seemed to be controlling her. Ove

Nice, light read for the long dark nights of November and December.

The setting was somewhat magical and the characters a delight to read about. Morgan is struggling with returning home to open a salon and not join the family business. Dallas returns to a town who considers him a 'bad boy' who brings trouble.

Through some craftiness by a long time town person, they are thrown together and discover not only their attraction to each other but that what they thought was true is not.

This is a really nice addition to the series if you enjoy a super sweet small-town romance you will really enjoy Morgan and Dallas story while they are great characters at times they act like little kids but it was so funny I did not mind it at all. They were great characters and while both had their own issues they were very likable and so great together.A really good read I would recommend this series.

Forever Yours in Christmas Falls by Susan Hatler is the first in this series I have read. I found the entire series interesting as different authors are writing about characters in the imaginary community. This makes me want to read more of the stories in the future.

This story has an air of mystery to it concerning a past death. Also the mix-up in the rental property was perplexing, especially for the two different types of businesses involved. However, it brought Dallas and Morgan together as

Can they really make a furniture shop and salon work together? And what about all those feelings, are they real and able to stand against the s ...more
