Kwasi Obrien can’t take his eyes off the luscious dark chocolate beauty that walks into the Java Cupid. He’s smitten until he realizes she’s his childhood best friend and the woman who almost caused his murder twenty years ago. While she’s the source of his bitterness she’s also the cause of his unfulfilled desires and need.
Gretchen Ozinga is attracted to the handsome albino hottie she meets in the Java Cupid coffee shop until she recognizes he’s the man she almost got killed. She seizes the opportunity to make amends. Though she longs for his forgiveness, even more than that, she craves his passion and something more. Mysterious messages on their coffee cups locks Gretchen and Kwasi in an awkward dance of unresolved heartache, painful memories, and a growing chance at love and happiness.
Unknown to both, a specter from their past is hunting them, ravenous with the dark desire to finish what was started long ago.
Can the Java Cupid’s message be enough to blend them into something new? Or will their invisible assailant's hunger for revenge be satisfied? The answers are found only in Java Blend.

Gretchen has a special twin bond with her identical sister, Gertie. Only one other person came close to sharing a bond that strong with her, a boy named Kwasi and her childhood best friend.
Kwasi is an African Albino. Tragedy nearly killed him and destroyed the life he once knew Now, he has to decide if it is worth his twin brother’s anger to pursue the beautiful woman who was the cause of the trama of his past.
Can love heal all wounds? This book explores this issue as well as the horrors many children face, due to the stigma of color, purity, and these traits cultic association with magic.

Kwasi and Gretchen have a past, twenty years back. It started as a dream but it became a nightmare. Has time healed all wounds or will their past catch up with them?
Be sure you can finish this story in one sitting, it will keep you reading until the end....and farther.
Can’t wait for the other story!

Very suspenseful story, you were not sure what would happen next. Great story about a second chance at love wondering if they would end up together or not. It also shows the connection that happens between identical twins. Great author, looking forward to reading what happens next.

Great read. Loved the history of the hero and heroine that affected their present day relationship. This was not your usual romance rekindled story. Thank you author Parker J Cole for giving it a different slant.

This is a different type of story then I'm use to. It is a good clean story. Give it a try for a few hours to escape to a different place.

Parker J. Cole gives us her usual strong characters. I had a hard time with this book. I don't think it was the author's fault but just that it wasn't my cup of tea (pun intended). It is well written.
