Temperance Falls, oh how I love this little island. The people are wonderful and the stories just keep getting better. If I could live in any world created in a book, Temperance falls would be the place I move to in a heartbeat.
AJ featured in the previous Temperance Falls book Reunion. He’s the business partner of Luke. He grew up on Temperance Falls and has gone back to his roots and is co-running a small business. When out of nowhere, in walks Kennedy and her brother. Her brother is the single most narrow-minded, stubborn person I have had the displeasure of reading about this year. With one conversation Charles upends AJ’s perfectly planned out life.
“I don’t care what I’ve put into it. I have more money than I know what to do with. But my best friend and partner? He’s sunk everything he has into this. It’s the only thing he has left of his father. And I won’t let it fail.”
The chemistry between Kennedy and AJ was off the charts. The friction and energy was palpable. I have loved each and every new addition these authors have created, but AJ and Kennedy are fast becoming my favourites.
‘...I was falling in love with him. Maybe I already had. A thought which made me grab him by the chin and pull him to his feet. Made me wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him deeply, slowly, putting every emotion I felt for him into that kiss. Love, frustration, fear, near...everything.’
Visiting Pops’ from AJ’s perspective was far different than it had been in Reunion. The feel of the environment wasn’t the same as it was in previous books; to AJ, Pops’ was important from a business perspective, but also because of the connection Luke had to it. AJ was a warm, charismatic man with a truly colourful and saddening past which could be said for Kennedy as well. She had grown up different but still had very similar experiences to him.

This was perfect. We were perfect, together.’
The threat was the biggest part of this book. It moved along swiftly, showcasing Kennedy and AJ’s strengths showed just how complimentary they were to each other.

I absolutely love AJ, Kennedy, and Tapping That Asset right from page one. The story is sensational, the passion is scorching, and the characters are fascinating. The duo at London Hale always bring the heat and Tapping That Asset is no different.

I really enjoyed reading Tapping That Asset by London Hale.
I enjoyed the storyline, it was sweet, hot, entertaining and did I mention hot? The chemistry between AJ and Kennedy was off the charts!! *fans self*
I loved how what started as one night of fun and hot sex turns into more. They didn't let Kennedy's a**hat brothers shady business deal stop them from being together and getting to know each other.
It was refreshing seeing a couple communicate and work together to get to their happily ever after.
If you're looking for a quick, steamy and entertaining read then I highly recommend Tapping That Asset.

"Tapping That Assett", is the first book I have read from this writing duo known as London Hale , and t has served to move their temper Ce fall series to the front of my Tbr list .
Kennedy Rochester and her brother have come to Temperence falls to seek a location for a brewery restaurant ant combo; while relaxing in the evening at a local bar she meets AJ Phillips , former baseball player and now co-owner of. A local brewery ; however these two re not getting that far into the personal information , this evening is shaping up to be a hit it and quit it type of night no reason to divulge too much info. The hit it and quit it night however was a phenominal night for both of them and the next day has been spent by both , thinking of seeing the other.
For Kennedy. Her dreams of spending anther night with AJ come to an abrupt end when she discovers he is he owner of Pop's Hops , the local brewery and restaurant in Temperence falls that her Brother Charles is dead set on putting out of business .
Quite frankly her brother Charles is an idiot, he refuses to listen to Kennedy his corporations CFO and the fact that Her numbers say that for Charles business model Temerance Falls is not the right fit .
AJ and his partner at just starting to make profit and take salaries , for AJ his investment will to hurt him, he saved his baseball money, but his partner it will devastate .
Frustrated and unsure how to save their business and to spite being upset AJ heads to the hotel to appeal to Kennedy to see if she can get her brother to change his mind. Angry and upset these two fall into bed tether again and again over the course of a week , with Kennedy trying to talk her brother out of his plans Offering alternatives until she just can not any longer .
About the sa,e time as Kennedy figures out how to stop her brother so does AJ and these two join forces in the end against her brother Charles. Kennedy chooses to go back to her roots , her passion for cooking and running a family style business on her own with AJ as a silent partner .
Along the way , this couple finds love and a HEA !

Before I can even think about reviewing Tapping That Asset, I have to say... is this the best freaking book title ever or what? Each of London Hale's book titles has been catchy, but this one took it to a whole other level. I love it. Oh and this cover? Holy. Hell. So hot.
Now that I got all that out of the way, I can talk about the book itself. Unsurprisingly, I loved it. I won't say it's my favorite of their books so far because I don't like to play favorites, but it's definitely near the top of the list. AJ and Kennedy were both great characters and I loved each of them for different reasons. AJ was hot and swoony and just... rawr. Kennedy was a freaking gem. She was so perfectly sassy and determined and I loved her backbone (especially when it came to her brother). AJ and Kennedy were an amazing pair and I loved reading along as things progressed from one night stand to more.
London Hale knocked it out of the park again. (Pun intended, as AJ is a former baseball player.) I'll read literally anything they write. Their books are filthy fun with substance and I can't get enough of them.

I discovered London Hale this year and absolutely love her quick, sexy, and steamy reads. Though they are quick reads they are captivating and fun to read.
Kennedy Rochester is in Temperance Falls on business. As the CFO of her family business, it seems she is always travelling from one place to another. This makes for very lonely nights. So, when she runs into AJ Phelps at the hotel bar, she jumps on the chance for an amazing night! And boy was it amazing. She is hoping to have more of it while she is in own.
AJ is an ex-baseball player who came home to Temperance Falls and now runs a business with his friend and partner Luke. Pop’s Hops is doing well, and things are good. But the last thing he expected was the woman who entered his life for one night to turn everything upside down.
I loved Kennedy and AJ. Kennedy was loyal, strong and wanted more out of her life, but she wanted to support her family business. But her domineering brother is wearing her down with his actions. AJ was happy with the way things were, but Kennedy got under his skin in a way no one else ever has. He was sexy, charming, and caring. You cannot help but fall for him.
Both Kennedy and AJ felt a strong connection from their one night together. Both hope to have it again, but when Kennedy accompanies her brother when he confronts AJ about running his business, they are surprised to come face-to-face. But even with her family’s intentions to destroy what he and Luke’s have worked for, he cannot stay away. Can he convince Kennedy to not do this or will her choices destroy any chance they could have?
I loved Tapping That Asset by London Hale. It was so sexy and charming, and AJ and Kennedy had chemistry that dripped off the pages. I loved the characters, story and all the sexy times!

Tapping That Asset is a funny, sexy, humorous romance story by London Hale. This is Aj’s story—we met him in Reunion and now he gets his own story. AJ and Kennedy have a hot one night stand. They end up meeting again when Kennedy comes to town with her brother and her brother is interested in doing not so good things in the town. AJ and Kennedy were surprised to meet up again. They soon come to find out they are enemies. Kennedy really likes AJ and doesn’t want to hurt him, his company or their town because she likes all 3. AJ still has the hots for the sexy and smart Kennedy. With the main characters, their chemistry was blazing hot and their connection was pretty immediate. I liked how spunky Kennedy was and how she was the smarter sibling while her brother was a complete jerk . I’m glad to see previous Temperance Falls characters show up in this story but overall, this was a good story that had a fantastic ending which shows you can be beautiful and smart and get a happy ending. I cannot wait to see what they come up with next.

One of my favorite author finds this year has been London Hale. I love epic-length romance stories as much as the next person, but sometimes it's so nice to pick up something short, sweet, and super sexy. London Hale's Temperance Falls series totally gets the job done, in this regard. The heroes always bring the alpha-male swoons and the heroines are assertive women who are badasses in their fields and ready to go toe-to-toe with their men. We, as the readers, certainly get the benefit of those confrontations!
The chemistry between Kennedy and AJ is on fire, especially heightened by the angst of their situation. The secondary relationships between AJ and his best friend Luke plus Kennedy and her (horrid) brother Charles are a also well done and add some complexity to the main story. I do have some questions about Kennedy's other family, like her other (younger) brother...
Contemporary romance fans, especially those who love love-at-first-sight stories, need to pick Tapping That Asset up ASAP!

This story is short, fast paced and sweet. I read this book in one sitting and wasn’t once bored.
The chemistry between Aj and Kennedy was clear to see. The passion between them was through the roof. I liked them together and was rooting for them to get together. I also truly wanted Kennedy to get her dream of running her own restaurant.
I wanted to punch Charles. He irritated the hell out of me. His attitude was bad and his determination to ruin AJ’s business annoyed me. I liked that Kennedy tried to talk Charles out of it. I liked that she went on to find a way to stop her brother. I have to admit; I chuckled when Kennedy told Charles about the out bidding.
My only complaint/disappointment about this story was that I wanted more of Aj and Kennedy together. The majority of this story was about the business and Charles attempts at ruining it. Although there were steamy scenes between Aj and Kennedy, I wanted to see them spend time together/more scenes between the two of them.

Quickest, filthiest read.
So, AJ, Luke’s partner in the brewery (remember Luke and Hannah?), he’s hooked up with a sweet, sexy bombshell. Their one night of passion transitions into his worst nightmare when he meets her again at his brewery right alongside her brother when the latter informs him, yup, inform, that he’s about to ruin his business.
Say, WHAT?
Kennedy, the bombshell, is half mortified, half resigned with her brother’s behavior, his ruthlessness and his cold, dead heart. She’s the CFO of their family business where her brother is the CEO, and he will do everything in his power to get more money, more power, and put as many small businesses out of business.
AJ isn’t too worried about himself, however Luke is another story. His best friend put everything he owned into the brewery, so AJ will do everything in his power to keep them up and running and successful.
As Kennedy and AJ keep on their physical relationship, they both start developing feelings for each other, AJ grows more worried about the situation and Kennedy grows more frustrated with her cruel, demeaning brother. And when he threatens to terminate her position, she has had enough.
I really enjoyed the dynamics between the siblings; even though Charles is horrible, Kennedy manages to hold her own, and while bothered by his behavior and his obsession, doesn’t let it affect her and knows when and how to fight back.
I did feel that Kennedy was the more dominant MC here, and had hoped AJ would be a more proactive in their relationship and dealings. He did, towards the end, but for some reason Kennedy is the one I remember more. Oh well, he’s still delicious, and has the best dirty talk every. Yum.
So, AJ, Luke’s partner in the brewery (remember Luke and Hannah?), he’s hooked up with a sweet, sexy bombshell. Their one night of passion transitions into his worst nightmare when he meets her again at his brewery right alongside her brother when the latter informs him, yup, inform, that he’s about to ruin his business.
Say, WHAT?
Kennedy, the bombshell, is half mortified, half resigned with her brother’s behavior, his ruthlessness and his cold, dead heart. She’s the CFO of their family business where her brother is the CEO, and he will do everything in his power to get more money, more power, and put as many small businesses out of business.
AJ isn’t too worried about himself, however Luke is another story. His best friend put everything he owned into the brewery, so AJ will do everything in his power to keep them up and running and successful.
As Kennedy and AJ keep on their physical relationship, they both start developing feelings for each other, AJ grows more worried about the situation and Kennedy grows more frustrated with her cruel, demeaning brother. And when he threatens to terminate her position, she has had enough.

Temperance Falls, oh how I love this little island. The people are wonderful and the stories just keep getting better. If I could live in any world created in a book, Temperance falls would be the place I move to in a heartbeat.
AJ featured in the previous Temperance Falls book Reunion. He’s the business partner of Luke. He grew up on Temperance Falls and has gone back to his roots and is co-running a small business. When out of nowhere, in walks Kennedy and her brother. Her brother is the single most narrow-minded, stubborn person I have had the displeasure of reading about this year. With one conversation Charles upends AJ’s perfectly planned out life.
“I don’t care what I’ve put into it. I have more money than I know what to do with. But my best friend and partner? He’s sunk everything he has into this. It’s the only thing he has left of his father. And I won’t let it fail.”
The chemistry between Kennedy and AJ was off the charts. The friction and energy was palpable. I have loved each and every new addition these authors have created, but AJ and Kennedy are fast becoming my favourites.
‘...I was falling in love with him. Maybe I already had. A thought which made me grab him by the chin and pull him to his feet. Made me wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him deeply, slowly, putting every emotion I felt for him into that kiss. Love, frustration, fear, near...everything.’
Visiting Pops’ from AJ’s perspective was far different than it had been in Reunion. The feel of the environment wasn’t the same as it was in previous books; to AJ, Pops’ was important from a business perspective, but also because of the connection Luke had to it. AJ was a warm, charismatic man with a truly colourful and saddening past which could be said for Kennedy as well. She had grown up different but still had very similar experiences to him.

This was perfect. We were perfect, together.’
The threat was the biggest part of this book. It moved along swiftly, showcasing Kennedy and AJ’s strengths showed just how complimentary they were to each other.

Another hot, sweet, quick read from these ladies! Even though it's novella length, it felt like a whole novel with all the things that happen. Not that it's overloaded, but just a lot happens between Kennedy and AJ from when they meet to the end of the story.
Kennedy is a busy career woman and isn't looking for a relationship, just a hot one night stand. And she finds that with AJ. Too bad when she decides she wants to make that one night last for while she's in town, she finds out that AJ is the reason she's there: to help her brother put him out of business.

Tapping That Asset is funny, sweet, sexy, hot and so very enjoyable. I loved this couple, their chemistry was fire from page one and burned throughout. I am loving these quick steam filled reads by this duo and cannot wait to see what they come up with next.

Because I’m not in the mood.” And that was the moment I killed him Your Honor.” From the moment I saw that quote I knew this was going to be my new favorite London Hale read. I loved AJ and Kennedy so so much. AJ is fantastic. He is such a great guy and so charming and I fell so so hard. And Kennedy is my kind of girl. Kennedy is CFO of her family’s company, so she is a numbers girl like me and I really appreciated that. I loved her work ethic and her drive and I loved her compassion and how she went for what she wanted. AJ and Kennedy together were explosive and I adored them. They both worked so well together and I loved that even with all the problems in their way, they acted like adults and didn’t start flailing around all angsty. The dynamic between these two was great and I loved watching Charles, aka douche canoe of epic proportions, get what was coming to him. Also a moment to appreciate that fantastic title. Tapping That Asset was super fun and dirty and a quick read and I loved it.

I don't know how LH managed to churn out all these sexy books but I hope they never stop. Tapping That Asset is a big step-up from the last LH I read (Knocking Her Up; I wish I had loved that more). It's short and sexy, and I love the chemistry between Kennedy and AJ. The epilogue is so sweet!

OMG! After reading Tapping That Asset, I didn't know that Enemies to Lovers Romance could be so hot and sexy. This book was an intense and mind-blowing reading. London Hale’s writing is beautifully addictive. Every book in the Temperance Falls Romance Series is a masterpiece that should be enjoyed slow. I absolutely love London’s steamy and quick reads.
The plot was original. There is no cliché in this book. The topic of Enemies to Lovers gave this book a magical touch. The characters are well developed. I couldn't put it down. I devoured it in one night.
While reading this book, I blushed like a teenager because the sex scenes were so intense, dirty and messy.
This pretty book is AJ and Kennedy's story. The attraction between them is deep and strong. AJ is a charming, kind and funny man. He is a wet dream for the female population. In other words he is the kind of man you should keep when you find him; a sexy unicorn.
On the other hand we have a badass heroine. Kennedy is a businesswoman who knows what her priorities are. She is not the damsel in disguise. She is a hardworking woman who follows what her heart wants.
Sharing a one night stand with AJ will twist her world in a powerful way. She will became addictive to the man she should not. One night with AJ will not be enough but her family business and her brother’s interests will be a wall that will keep her lined.
Kennedy and AJ will experience love, frustration, fear, need…everything. He is all she needs. She is the woman he should stay away.

Tapping That Asset was another great read from the London Hale gals.
As hot as we've come to expect from the ladies, and the residents of Temperance Falls, this pair tore up the sheets, the desk, the kitchen counter, the shower, the bathroom vanity... yeah, you're getting the idea!!! ;)
AJ and Kennedy had a red hot night together and both would have been up for a repeat only for things to go sideways when they meet the following morning.
I loved AJ. Business partner in Pops' Hops with Luke he was a really good guy. After his sports career ended way too early he got down to running a brewhouse in Temperance Falls with his best bud and everything was going great until Kennedy's brother, with his over-inflated ego and inability to think beyond crushing every thing he sets his eye on!, rocks into the town and announced he was there to put the small brewery out of business!
Kennedy was a really great lading lady. She was all business, strength and brains but still had heart and caring when it came to doing her job (unlike her twat brother!) and she was determined to see the right thing done, even when it looked like she could end up losing on all fronts!
It was low on the angst, smokin' hot, funny, engaging and a thoroughly good read.
I'm looking forward to our next visit to TF.

Tapping that asset begins with a bang ..... against a door (wink) , I'm such a huge fan of Londaon Hale she writes some steamy reads that draw you into the story . If you Haven't read reunion you defiantly should because the couple in that makes an appearance ( all the authors stories can be read as a standalone familiar characters show up from time to times ) . I liked how AJ and Kennedy are with one another it all starts off with them thinking it would be just one night of passion while waking up a going their separate ways but it turns out one taste is far to tempting to pass up once they are brought face to face even when they are after the same thing . With characters you fall for and some you don't wish good things for and story line that doesn't drag on with pointless drama but keeps you enthralled to whats happening . Can't wait to see whats to come for this author I'm excited for future projects .

FINAL DECISION: This is an enjoyable story of two people who have a one-night stand, end up being at cross purposes but are hot for one another, and then fall in love. This was an enjoyable read.
THE STORY: AJ Phelps hooks up with a beautiful woman for a one-night stand. The next day, AJ is approached by Kennedy Rochester whose brother intends on shutting AJ's brewery down. Both AJ and Kennedy are surprised to see one another after the night they spent together and find themselves at odds -- even while they are intensely attracted to one another.
OPINION: This is an enjoyable, instant attraction story. AJ and Kennedy are immediately hot together. Nothing stops even though they are cross purposes, except there are complications for them.
I liked this one because AJ and Kennedy are great together from the beginning. They are both bright and dedicated to their work. Quickly they realize that they have something special together. The conflict worked in this case.
The story is short and not very complicated, but I enjoyed how the problem worked out in this case.

Author London Hale has once again crushed it with her newest book Tapping That Asset. This book was so well written and the characters were so well developed. The story is set in a place by the name of a Temperance Falls. In this story, we meet the characters of Kennedy Rochester, the CFO for Rochester Enterprises and AJ Phelps, ex professional baseball player and brewery owner with his best friend Luke. Kennedy and AJ meet in a hotel bar and their attraction is instantaneous. They decide to act on that attraction and have a one night stand. But needless to say neither one can forget about the other. But will things change once AJ finds out who Kennedy is and why she is in Temperance Falls or will their feelings for each other lead them down a different path? You need to read this book to get your answer. This book is truly amazing and one I won't soon forget. It does contain some hot sex scenes but they add so much to the story. London Hale is exactly what I need when I want to read a naughty bedtime story with a little depth and a whole lot of heat and heart. These ladies have made a name for themselves with their quick and dirty novellas... and honestly I just cannot get enough.
Tapping That Asset is their newest standalone novella and what an amazing little book this was. Sexy. Sweet. Captivating. Insta-everything. All the goodness. Hale made me swoon and smile right from the very start... and left me wanting so much more when it was all over.
She just wanted one night, but he... well he's got other plans. This is one romance you do not want to miss. Amazing chemistry. Great banter. Addicting characters. Fun storyline. AJ and Kennedy are going to burn up your kindle and pack a serious punch to the heart.
If you like your books fun, sweet, and over the top in the best ways then London Hale is a must read.

MAN! I just Love this author so much <3 <3!!! She always pulls me inside the stories and makes me feel like apart of the lives of the characters she creates, I swear I feel like I know these people personally. It is truly an HONOR to be able to read for her so I hope you take me seriously when I say please read her stories.
This is a star-crossed lovers tale between to soulmates who end up on opposite sides of a business rivalry. Now neither of these characters are thinking they are about to find their true love when they end up in the same small town both on a business trip that pits them against each other without them even knowing it. I had a few moments when I thought that our H/h combo were going to stupidly wreck their love connection and I almost lost my mind lol. However, in the grand tradition of true love romance these tow move mountains to figure out a way to keep their love alive and yes a HEA is forthcoming.
So loved it, loved it, read it and don't ask for spoilers!!

I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book, Tapping That Asset By London Hale.
So far I have loved every one of London’s books I’ve read and this one is no exception. It’s one of my top faves so far. Temperance Falls has become one of my favorite places to hang out.
The heroes are hot, sexy, tough, gentle and loving, while the heroines are fearless, loving, take no crap women that will do anything for those they love.
Kennedy just wanted a little hot, harmless fun before doing her brother’s dirty work yet again. She wasn’t counting on things getting complicated and so fast at that. AJ was all to happy to get down and dirty with Kennedy but now he can’t get her out of his mind or his system. Not even her threatening his business can stop him from wanting her.
How could these two possibly find a HEA?

London Hale has become my latest duo obsession. The way that they are able to convey the heat and passion of the bedroom scenes but the intimacy and heartfelt love of these two characters takes skills that not many authors have, but we are able to witness it in a duo! I am privileged to be able to experience their writing.
Tapping that Assets is named very well about AJ Phelps and ex baseball player who has come home after his career ended and turns his love of beer into a career. Along with his best friend they have created a great local brewery for the tourist and local alike to find great beer and a great time. That is until Kennedy Rochester. She was his happily ever after. The woman he had an amazing on night stand that was going to turn into forever, that is until her brother decided he was going to shut his brewery down.
Kennedy loves two things sex and numbers. Well that’s a lie, not the sex part. She loves a simpler time her life when she was happy doing the things she loved for the people she loved, but now she is following around trying to wrangle her big brother ego before it spends all their families money. What was supposed to be a one night stand before helping her brother take over a local brewery ended being exactly what she needed.
Hale does an amazing balancing between the love story between Kennedy and AJ and the hot and steamy dirty sex we have come to know them for. I would say his probably their best one yet. Definitely a must read.

Tapping that Assets is named very well about AJ Phelps and ex baseball player who has come home after his career ended and turns his love of beer into a career. Along with his best friend they have created a great local brewery for the tourist and local alike to find great beer and a great time. That is until Kennedy Rochester. She was his happily ever after. The woman he had an amazing on night stand that was going to turn into forever, that is until her brother decided he was going to shut his brewery down.
Kennedy loves two things sex and numbers. Well that’s a lie, not the sex part. She loves a simpler time her life when she was happy doing the things she loved for the people she loved, but now she is following around trying to wrangle her big brother ego before it spends all their families money. What was supposed to be a one night stand before helping her brother take over a local brewery ended being exactly what she needed.

I loved this book! I was drawn in on the first page. This book was funny, sweet, and so much more. Kennedy works for her family's business, but her brother is ruthless. That is a nice word for him. Her brother is something else. I would love to see him meet a woman, who would put him in his place. AJ was a pro baseball player and now runs a brewery with his friend. AJ and Kennedy met in a hotel bar and fireworks happened!! AJ can not get her out of his head, but when he sees her again, he can not believe who she is with, the man who says he will put them out of business. Can they have anything together when her brother is out for blood?

What a fin wonderful, sexy quick read.
This duo is on fore with these little novellas they are releasing. They have so much un them but so quick to read. These characters were on fire from beginning to end and I could not put this book down until I read the very last word. This was an emotionally charged novella from the start to so it keeps you intrigues all the way through. I absolutely loved AJ and Kennedy....I look forward to more from this duo of authors!

Kennedy and AJ set my kindle on fire!!!! So freaking hot and a little devious lol
Kennedy and AJ had one amazing night..only to have a chance of a repeat crushed by Kennedy's brother and his business ideas.
But they both try to right the wrongs and they certainly don't waste time getting it on ;)
I love love love that Kennedy's brother gets what's coming and even more that the two find a way to communicate and see the other point of view.
