Set In Stone is the final book in The Stone Series, and by far, my favorite. I adore Alexander and Krystina, and I really am a little sad that their story is over.

Krystina and Alex are now living together, and after a few little bumps, their relationship is stronger than ever. Alex still has him dominant ways, but he came to realize that although he enjoyed Krystina’s submission in the bedroom, he liked her spirit outside the bedroom

” She was perfect and, at times, I wondered if

Alex and Krystina have it coming at them from all sides in what is a non-stop rollercoaster of intrigue - the conclusion we have been pining have doesn't disappoint. Krystina should be on top of the world, Alex is determined to make her his in every conceivable way, but lately her mercuical man has become even more reticent and controlling. While she never minds ceding control to Alex in all matters in the boudoir, he has become so domineering in all other aspects of their lives she has been ...more

What the Hale?

"Set in Stone", is a spectacularly written ending to the Stone Series! All the questions I had after finishing books 1 & 2 in this series were answered with plenty of dialogue & detail. No, I'm not going to answer my question, "What the Hale?" because it might giveaway too much. I think the question in itself is enough of a hint to what this third and final book entails. Answers.

The scintillating heat between Alexander & Krystina continues and is scorching H-O-T!!
OMG...sooooo good!
I love this series so much and its become one of my all time favs! Dakota ran me through a ton of emotions in this one, and I definitely didn't see the twists coming.
I literally ugly cried at the end - but don't worry reader, you'll get your HEA! I only hope that this isn't the end. I'd love to see a spin off book for Allison ant Matt. Pretty please, Dakota Willink!

I enjoyed this trilogy so much.

Alexander Stone was a very rich man, extremely good looking and very cocky. Krystina meets him while she has tripped, spilt her coffee and fell down on the floor. When she spots Alex she is tongue tied and shocked that she did all that in front of him. They both have a lot of baggage from their past but they are attracted to each other. This couple will take you through so many emotions in this three book ride. Highly recommend it though. A good series.

Alexander and Krystina have a love story that many people would like to have. But it seems that things were not as they appeared to be. There was tension between the couple that both were feeling and neither knew what the cause was. Was it just their upcoming plans for a future together, Alexander’s need to be so bossy and controlling over everything that Krystina felt she had no say in anything anymore, or was it from the accident and Alexander was afraid of things coming out about his past. So ...more

This was a great conclusion to a great trilogy. I'm also glad it didn't go in the route/plot that I thought it might. I highly recommend this series.

Loved this trilogy. Stone has his secrets, Angel is trying to be his saviour. He’s “dark” with looks to die for, a no commitment hero. She’s sassy, innocent and needs to be tamed but she’s changing him, topping from the bottom. Is he a monster ..... she has to show him he’s not who he thinks he’s become. Push and pull tensions but she won’t be tamed .... or will she?

Another BRILLIANT read from this author. I have loved this trilogy. Full of heated emotional, sensual, anger, forgiveness and love on every level of the spectrum. This author brings the characters alive because they have so much depth. Her word skills just flow from the page, pulling we, the reader right into the story. I read this book over two evenings and kept going until 2 a.m. just to finish it. The whole series is well worth a rad. LOVED it. Shame I can't give 6*.

What do is say..... this is the end of a long journey with two of my favorite characters. You have Kristen who have been with so much but still able to love and fight for her man. Alexander who is complicated but I so love him... He has so many secrets that come out and You never seen them coming . This is a epic conclusion to this series. Dakota that you for sharing this story with us. I am sad it over. But all great things come to an end. #teamAlexander

OMG!! This book had my heart pounding the entire time especially when things went haywire for Krystine and Alex, I was mad and devastated and knew things weren't going to be easy for them but in the end I was pieced back together!
Will these two people ever have a normal or will it be the end?
To find out you will need to read the final book in the series!!

I love this series! I fell in love with Krystina and Alexander’s story. I felt like I was watching this as movie as I read, the details the author gave about the characters and places were amazing. The secrets, lies, suspense and sex scenes that are so hot kept me interested in the story. Nothing is as it seems or is it, hmmm. An amazing series! This author has became a favorite of mine.

Love the Stone Series Books.

The Series was so written and the descriptions area very vivid like watching a movie. I was in lust and suspense throughout the books and read all three in less than one day.

How I love thee. Seriously, an excellent conclusion to Alex and Krystina's story. If you have not started this series, you need to! It's also on audio and an excellent audio at that. I can't wait to see more work from Dakota.

Simply incredible conclusion to the Stone Series! I absolutely love Dakota's writing and the fact that you get such a meaty story with dynamic characters that you get emotionally invested in. I loved every second of this book, I couldn't put it down, and was sad in a way when it ended. But it was such a beautiful story and a satisfying ending.

Listened to this story on Audible. I listened to the Boxset that has all 3 books of the series. Love that! Female narrator is fine; not a huge fan of her male voice, but she does okay. Male narrator does okay as well. I liked him a little better than the female narrator, but he comes across as a bit too theatrical at times. Still I enjoyed the overall listening experience and would recommend it. They both got better with books 2 and 3 as well.

Continuation of books 1 and 2, so start the reading

I was so anxious to get this book. I wanted to love it since I loved the first two back to back, but it had been over a year since I read the first two. That is a problem since I have read about 300 books since then and can’t remember why I loved the characters in the earlier books. I would add a bit of advice for authors who gap a year between books to please have a summary of the story so we can catch up. One of my favorite authors does that and it is amazing how she can bring me right back to ...more

I do love a good series, and this was definitely one of the better ones I've read, but to be honest I sorta had to search the depths of my memory and re-read some of the first two books to remember what the story line was... that's the thing about too much time between the last book and the next... And I have waited for this final story in the series for a while!

Anyway... it was still good... I just got annoyed I couldn't remember who some characters were, like Stephen and Brian?? That's part of

I honestly don't know what to think about this book.

Though I've read the complete book and the entire trilogy i have very conflicted point of view about this book and now the whole series.

It seems to me that through books 1 to 3 every book has been shrouded in paranoia, secrets and domination.

As much as I enjoy reading books with adult content, the amount of explicit scenes superceded the main story at times. 1 question that comes to my mind is, "is sex the solution of every problem in life?"

Perfect conclusion to the series

Set In Stone goes above and beyond anything I had expected. When going in, I expected it there to be some butting of heads, maybe an explosive fight or two, and then some hot make-up sex with a quick happy ending. That seems to be the usual track a final book takes in this genre. Dakota quickly put those assumptions to bed within the first few chapters. Don't get me wrong, this book contains all of those things, but they happen more than once. Just when you think

Dakota Willink has given us a wonderfully believable storyline that spanned this 3 book series and kept you laughing, crying, and shouting at characters that feel like friends. Characters and stories are very well written and with emotion. With plot twists, and surprising villains. The super-hot chemistry and BDSM between Alex and Krys, keeps you wondering what they will do next. The revelation of Alex’s haunting past will take you on a rollercoaster ride with a twist that will surprise you. Set ...more

I listened to the audible version of the complete Stone series. If I had read the books individually, I would have been extremely annoyed with the abrupt endings to the first two books, however presented as a series I was able to continue the story right away. The individual books can not stand alone.

The first book starts almost the same as either the 50 Shades or Crossfire series (or maybe a little of both), but it developed into its own storyline in books two and three. l preferred subsequent

The story of Alex and Krystina continue in the third book of the Stone Trilogy. This is a continuation of their hot and steamy relationship as they navigate the obstacles life is throwing at them and his internal struggle with his past. The erotic and explicit sex scenes are woven expertly into the storyline. This story has much more raw emotions exposed and the character’s personalities continue to develop.I found this story touched me emotionally much more than the previous books.. This book ...more

So bittersweet for me! I have thoroughly enjoyed this series from the first book to the last, and I am sad that Alexander and Krystina's story has to come to an end. Their love transcends that which we might consider to be normal. Krystina pushes Alexander in ways that give him renewed purpose, pulling him out of the darkness from the ghosts of his past. This series has been one amazing journey, and the heartbreaking challenges they have been through have been both breath-stopping and thrilling. ...more

This book was truly an amazing book to read with the storyline that was so well written that I was glued to my kindle from the turn of the very first page! The characters were so well developed that as I turned each page I was drawn deeper and deeper as the storyline unfolded between Krystina and Alex which these two absolutely kept me totally engaged throughout the entire book! This book was so hard to put down that I stayed up all night reading it! I can't wait to see what this author writes ...more
