The Gods Wait is the first internet book that seems to explain things in a way that I can understand. The interconnected vignettes explain things from the perspective of an internet board, and embodies all of the different people who spend time on 'the board'.

It's at times hilarious and other times its sad. The concepts are universal and timeless, but also are couched in something that's unique and seems more timely than any "classic" book that you could read. I would recommend anyone still

A morally- and artistically-questionable piece, like the best are, about a loose network of quirky characters connected through a few unsavory online interactions. The book sets a good pace after a rocky start and finishes in grandeur.

I generally don't like what's going on in the world, but that's only what I know is happening.

"[The Gods Wait] isn’t a quick read, by any means, but it isn’t meant to be, as the prose and plot both benefit from slow consideration. An engrossing, character-driven literary work, it’s a book for thinkers, fighters, and people who enjoy genuinely good prose."
