I loved the book just as much as all the others in the series. The funny thing was that I kept thinking Chyna as of the girl. I allways had to correct myself in my mind:-) Thanks for the story.

I'm a huge fan of the Horizon series and Luca is one of my favorite characters. I very much enjoyed seeing Luca and Chyna's relationship and how it's progressing. I think Chyna showed great character in how he dealt with his mother.I look forward to seeing more of this series in the future.

I have followed this series from the beginning. This is a Luca and Chyna growing into their relationship. Being transgender must be very difficult but love can help you overcome. Luca has four men who always taught and protected him. Chyna did not have that support. Trying to find the balance
and living life on their terms, made me love this book.
Learning to stand in your own truth and living your life to the fullest

As I have stated before I love Mickie’s stories. They are well thought out and her writing style is excellent. The books are well edited and reading them is a pleasure.
‘Through My Own Lens’ is book 5 in the Horizons series and charts the story of Luca and Chyna after they leave home.
Chyna has moved to Manhattan to embark on a modelling career while Luca has begun his freshman year at Cornell. The physical

Far to short. I was ready for this chapter of their lives to be done.

Great story. Amazing details and true to life characters. My only real complaint is that I wanted more. Usually not a problem with Mickie B Ashling ' works . I know there is more to come but I want it now** whines**

I was so glad to hear about this book. I always thought Chyna and Luca ad more to their story and I was happy with the results. Now I can't wait to read Alex and Zeb's story.
