We've gotten to know Cabe, the hero, in the previous two books. He is part of the Eagle Securities team along with Six and Mac, the heroes from book 1 & 2. Amy, the heroine, is an FBI agent and new to the series. We have continued side characters that have been in previous books.

The biggest thing we have learned about Cabe that affects this book is that he lost his fiance while she was on active duty two years prior. I'm a bit conflicted when a deceased significant other is involved. On one
FBI Agent Amy Murray is determined to find the women gone missing after working at the Lucky Seven Casino. The casino is also suspected of being connected to Sokolov, the Russian mobster that Eagle Securities have in their sights. Money laundering, and a whole host of other crimes are why Eagle Securities and FBI are now teaming up to investigate and take down this illegal enterprise.

Cabe and Amy working together is a little troublesome since they have a powerful attraction brewing between them

ARC received for review

Great conclusion. It made me cry...twice. Cabe and Amy were great together. They worked well together and were really hot. Loved seeing Six and Mac again, plus their ladies. Bad guy from previous books finally gets what's coming to him. There are lots of other members of their teams who could get books, but we don't really get to know them.
Electrifying chemistry provides that backdrop to a romantic suspense that keeps the reader invested. Duty, honor and an emotional connection, Deep Cover is just want I was looking for in a bookacation.

I received this ARC copy of Deep Cover from St. Martin's Press. This is my honest and voluntary review. Deep Cover is set for publication July 31, 2018.

I really enjoyed this book. Cabe and Amy are just brilliant characters. They are both dealing with a lot of heart ache. Cabe ex Navy SEAL has been working his backside off to get Eagle Security off the ground with his 2 best friends Six and Mac (Who are both smoking hot) Things have been pretty crazy for them all since starting the security services. Cabe has had it easy he lost is fiancée Jess while on a job. She was everything

Ok two things first I admit this is my first book by this author and secondly it’s apparently the third in this series. I say this so that you realise I went in completely blind and I’m actually sat here feeling very impressed. I found there was enough background that I didn’t feel lost and most of all that this particular story easily pulled me in with strong edgy characters but most of all a plot full of suspense and action that felt incredibly believable.

Scarlett Cole, where have you been all my reading life?

Let me start by saying I don't consider this a romance novel at all. It's not about love and pink fluffy things. Yes, the main characters are attracted to one another and they kiss, have sex and (view spoiler), but the story isn't about them precisely.

Deep Cover is one of the most exciting, pulse-pounding stories I ever read. If you're a fan on action thrillers, then you should definitely read this bo
Deep Cover was an exciting, fast-paced read with an amazing romance between a man learning to love again and a woman learning to trust again.

For ex-Navy SEAL Cabe Moss, there’s nothing more important than his work at Eagle Securities. After the death of his fiancée two years ago, his personal life has been on hold and he puts everything into his work. When the man Cabe and his friends have been trying to take down for months leads them to a casino that’s the focus of an FBI investigation, Cabe i
When Amy is teamed up with Cabe to bust a money laundering business as well as find evidence of missing women, they both know they have to keep things professional between them. Amy’s past has a case of sexual harassment that colored her reputation and to get involved with a superior coworker would give credence to the gossip’s claims. Cabe’s fiancée, Jess, died two years ago and he’s still struggling to move on and not succeeding very well. However, he is attracted to Amy like no other woman si ...more

Suspenseful and full of chemistry, this is an exciting read with a great romance, and I loved it!

The third and final book in the Love Over Duty series, this is the story of Cabe Moss, the last of three friends featured in this series. Cabe and his two best friends grew up together, were SEALs together, and then started Eagle Security, leading a team of badasses on all sorts of badass missions. Cabe has watched his two buddies fall in love and find their HEAs, which brings home to him all
Four and a half stars.

Scarlett Cole's new series (can I call it 'new' if this is the third book?) has really hit its stride with this confident, gripping and engaging instalment.

Amy Murray is an FBI agent, newly transferred to the San Diego office after her superior made unwelcome sexual advances. The daughter and granddaughter of legendary Las Vegas high-rollers she is asked to take a key role in a new assignment involving the disappearance of several women over a long period of time which appe

Deep Cover by Scarlett Cole is a well written and entertaining read.

The storyline held my interest all throughout the book, it was well paced, enough drama and suspense to keep you turning the pages and I enjoyed watching Cabe and Amy come together.
They were both likable, relatable characters that find themselves opening up and letting the other in after years of being closed off and not interested in love.
These two were perfect for each other and the chemistry between them was smoking
‘Deep Cover’ has an irresistible blurb, and even if Scarlett Cole’s works haven’t always agreed with me, such is the power of blurbs that it has gotten me willing to give her books another go.

Still reeling from the loss of his military fiancée, the thought of getting truly involved again is one that he shuns (not being sure of whether he can give that much to another person yet again). So the mess of guilt, pining and uncertainty is the cloud that hangs over Cabe’s and Amy’s burgeoning relation

Cabe Moss has loved and lost, and is still grieving two years later. He has thrown himself into work in the Eagle Securities company he owns with his two best friends, Six and Mac. But he can also admit that he is a bit envious that his friends are finding their happy-ever-afters now when his never materialized. Their team is trying to take down a Russian syndicate that for several reasons has also become personal for them.

I loved this book. I literally could not stop reading. I had to know what happened. There were so many amazing moments in this book. It was a fairly quick read but it was all plot. This author really knows how to keep you on your toes. I mean there was so much drama and romance it was so good!!! I really loved how Cabe met Amy. I liked they were both in dangerous lines of work. I felt like it was a nice relief from the Macho hero saving the helpless woman. It was nice to see Amy working right al ...more

Want a fast paced, well written, action packed military suspense with a healthy dose of romance? Dive straight into Deep Cover by Scarlett Cole.

Amy Murray is hard working, focused, brainy and beautiful with ocean blue eyes and gorgeous blonde waves and a complete firecracker FBI agent. She plays the role of an undercover dealer in a casino as she was an ace and kicked ass when it came to cards. Having endured uninvited attention in past from her fellow douchebag colleagues for her pretty loo
This is a great addition to this action packed romantic suspense series, a real page turner that takes the reader to the heart of the action, immersing you so it is easy to feel the story coming to life in your imagination. It is the third book in the series and, whilst I suspect it could be read as a standalone, I enjoyed knowing the events from the previous stories and meeting many of the familiar characters again.

J’ai adoré le premier tome, détesté le second et de nouveau adoré celui-ci ! Tout était parfait, le couple très bien assorti avec ses défauts et qualité, la pointe d’aventure et le côté sexy!

Deep Cover is the third book in The Love Over Duty Series and is an interconnected stand-alone novel. Deep Cover follows the story of Cabe and Amy. Cabe is the guy you can always count on when you need him. When called to duty, he'll never let you down. When his fiancee passed away, it nearly destroyed him. He will face his biggest challenge to date when he gets paired up with FBI Agent Amy Murry. Even though Cabe may appear to be the strong, silent type, there is more to him than meets the eye. ...more

There’s not much I enjoy more than a romantic suspense book that perfectly balances the romance and the suspense. And Scarlett Cole pretty much nailed it in this latest installment of her Love Over Duty series. Deep Cover is book three.

After a strong start that has the reader right in the middle of an op in the middle of the night, and an introduction to the heroine, the author’s way of catching up us new readers (of which I was one) was to have the three owners of Eagle Securities sit around a

This is the third in Scarlett Cole’s Love Over Duty series of romantic suspense novels, and right off the bat I should probably say I haven’t read the first two, but I don’t think it really mattered. Yes, there were references to the romances which obviously formed the core of the previous two books as well as an ongoing criminal case, but I had no trouble keeping up what was going on as the main female protagonist, Amy, appeared to be an entirely new character to the series and we learned about ...more

I must say that if this is the last book in the series, that I’m at a 50/50 split on really liking how everything was wrapped up to being a little sad because there are a few secondary characters that I’d really like to know more about. But in the end, this was a fun and easy read for me that, had life allowed, I would have finished quite quickly, but since that wasn’t an option I will say that when I could steal a few moments to myself, I thoroughly enjoyed it until the very last

It's no secret that I have been a fan of Scarlett Cole's for a while now but seriously when she writes stories like this one how can I not be!

From the very first page I was pulled into the world of Cabe and Amy and quite honestly I didn't want to leave. If you have read the first two books in the series (and I really hope you have because they were AMAZING READS) you know that Cabe lost his fiance when she was killed in action during her last deployment, this is something Cabe never thought he'd

This one just didn't work for me and maybe it's because I hadn't read the previous two books although the main plot seemed to stand alone. It was obvious that the secondary characters and had been introduced and their stories were in the previous books but it didn't seem that it was necessary to read those books first.

This book centered around Cabe Moss who lost his fiance and really felt as though he would never love again. He meets and is attracted to Amy and although the first meeting doesn'

This is the third book in the Love Over Duty series. While it can stand on its own, there is a over arcing plot that does stretch between the three books. Cabe Moss never expected to find love after losing his fiance during the war but when he meets Amy, he knows he might just be getting a second chance. But can Cabe handle seeing Amy put her life in danger as an FBI agent as he works on an undercover mission with her?

Deep Cover was fantastic, the balance between a budding romantic relationship and a dark, dangerous case filled with suspense made my night very short.
Cabe Moss is the final SEAL from Eagle Securities in this series to find his HEA. When he meets FBI agent, Amy Murray, he's interested, but Cabe has demons he hasn't dealt with and he's not quite ready for Amy to be in his life yet. Which of course means, she shows up on their next case, which all ties into the same group from the first two books with Lou and Six and Mac and Delaney and the Russians. I love the dynamic between these guys and their work at Eagle, but it was really heavy in this b ...more
