This book was great and A Lot better than I was anticipating. I was thoroughly entertained during the entire book and narration of the story. There was a good amount of action and intrigue and twists and turns along with some romance and hot sexy times between the two main characters Omega Phoenix and Alpha Lucius. The writing along with the storyline flowed really well together at a good pace. I’m really glad that the author Giovanna Reaves didn’t just throw these two men Alpha/Omega into bed t ...more

I was very pleasantly surprised with this story! I loved the characters, I loved the story, the romance, and the pace of things.

Phoenix is an omega who had a horrible falling out with his family at a young age. Since then, he has built a name for himself with his company, he is raising his daughter as a single parent from his first mating, and is basically living life for his daughter, Jasmine, at the start of this story. He starts receiving threatening letters, and when they start to include J

Surprisingly better than I expected; John Solo did a good job with the narration.

5/12/17 NEW REVIEW

Having now been in touch with the author, we've discovered a whole section was missing in the conversion from PDF to .mobi so I was right, and there was a big plot reveal included in that element.

So reviewing now on the full story! I'm revising my rating up to 3 stars as there is the bones of a good plot here and I liked the setting and the characters. There was still a bit too much exposition and a lot of telling, not showing, but overall the ideas behind the plot were good an

4 stars. Wow, this book was so much more than I expected it to be and I'm pleasantly surprised.

I chanced upon this and saw all the high ratings both here and on amazon and thought 'why not?' and borrowed it through KU. I'm glad I did. This was so, so good. I loved the writing, the plot, the characters, the slower burn to the romance (seriously, you don't get smut until like 70 something percent in...crazy!) and that plot twist was insane! Wow, everything was just so well done.

What a great book! I enjoyed it from beginning to end. I am a huge omegaverse/mpreg fan, and if there’s knotting and claiming bites? I’m totally in my element. Protecting His Omega had all of that. Lucius was a…well…protective Alpha who will do anything for his mate, but he wasn’t overbearing. Phoenix was nearly opposite of nearly every omega in other stories. He was strong businessman who could run a big, successful company alongside being a loving, caring father

I truly love when you have a book that when you are reading it that there is twists and turns that you never seen coming. This is definitely one of them. There is mystery, there is danger, there is new love, there is family, and here is new beginnings. All that wrapped into one read makes an equally impressive read read.

Phoenix is an Omega. Being an omega he is viewed as weaker but he truth is Phoenix is anything but weak. Well at least he is in most parts of his life with the exception of where

Protecting His Omega is by new to me author Giovanna Reaves. The start of this book was rough for me. Instead of information given throughout a story, it started as an info dump and I really struggled to read past the first few chapters. I mean, it started with a man who was so rushed and busy at work after being off a week, sitting and spending his time reminiscing about

Great story.

I was pleasantly surprised with this book, and I had a hard time putting it down. I thought the story was leading to everything being okay and Lucius and Phoenix getting their happy ever after. But then Tony pops back up and the story goes completely opposite. I had a feeling it was Tony threatening his brother, but didn't realize how bad he was. This is a book that will go into my library as one of my favorites and I will most definitely be following rhis author. This is a book that

I absolutely love this book. It's steamy, sexy, romantic, and has a great plot. I loved the mystery behind who is after Phoenix. The plot kept me guessing up to the last pages. Phoenix and Lucius's relationship is wonderful to watch play out, especially with Phoenix's precocious daughter Jasmine in the mix. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves a sexy M/M book with a guaranteed HEA!

I had never stepped foot into the m-preg genre. I honestly had no plans on going there either but this story sounded too good to not try. The m-preg is lite, the absolutely perfect book for a starter such as myself and the story was cute, fun, sad, had me so irate at one point I could have hopped into the book and smacked some heads around, and full of love.

Great read!!!!!

Worth the read! Loved the twists and turns and seeing the main characters fall together. Not an insta love book, the characters had to work at it which is the best kinda book! <3

This was a fantastic read. Sweet romance and intrigue with an adorable child thrown in. I loved that even knowing they were mayes they took their time getting to know each other.

Really good!

My first non shifter, mpeg story. Really good characters, unique (to me) story. The mystery was a bonus, with a bit of a twist.
Definitely liked the fact that the omega wasn't a submissive character.

This story had me gripped from the beginning and didn't let me go until the end. I can't wait to read what comes from this author next.

The storyline was good but the writing was incredibly awkward. I realize I'm in the minority here but...

I wonder if I read the same book as everyone else. Writing style was stilted and the twist with the parents was laughable.
It began interesting enough, had some good tension and reasonable behavior from MCs until after the midpoint where it went crazy and turned into melodrama or soap opera.
I did finish it though I have skipped a lot of pages towards the end.
I guess this author is not for me.
