He said she had a fat ass (depends on who you ask)…and she let him live. That alone made Lexi, aka “Zena” one of my favorite heroines with backbone and fire! It also made for a very long five hour flight to the West Coast as Lexi is sandwiched into a seat next to what she determined was a steroid-enhanced Neanderthal, well, he did have cool tats and nice arms and sexy stubble…Still, they were definitely NOT what each other was looking for, they could each say the other was NOT MY TYPE.

So why cou

When Lexi meets Trent on an five hour plane trip she thinks he is a jerk and reminds her too much of someone she walked away from already and never wanted back. Trent is just enthralled with Lexi and all her sass even though they both admit neither one is not their type. He can't get her out of her mind so when she is working at the bar his band is playing at he knows he must do anything to win her, but Lexi is demanding he woo he

Not all Southern women were demure, patient, and proper. I happened to be a part of the loud, ornery, and short-fused breed of Southern women, or so I'd been told. by Lexi

Lexi gives herself one year to try a different more exciting life. She moves from West Virginia to LA full of dreams.

Trent has a pre-definition of what he wants for his life. He not only wants  his band to become famous, but he is looking for a petite demure blond that will be submissive to him and trea

This is more of a 4.5 star rating.. I have some issues. I loved Lexi and Trent. I love the fire and intensity that Lexi has. She is strong and determined, she tells it like it is and if you don't like it, then screw you. I love this attitude with her. She gives Trent a run for his money. Trent is immediately taken by her but it isn't for him to get her. He has to work for her, woo her and show how's he different from her ex. I really fell for the characters, I mean even the secondary characters ...more

Did you ever think that you missed out on something good just because you thought you only liked one certain “type”? Well, that is what almost happened to Trent who was just on the verge of making it big in the rock scene. Lexi was not your regular LA type arm candy. She came from a farm that she actually worked on in West Virginia but had the dream of following her brother to LA hoping to make it by working for someone famous. That plane she boarded to take her to her new life was full with onl ...more

I like this book very much when Lexi meets Trent on the 5 hour flight she is not impressed in fact she thinks he is a jerk.

She is sassy and spunky and I love that about this character she is a power girl. He is obsessed with her can not stop thinking about her and yet she still thinks he is a jerk. Lexi gets a job working for Trent's band and he has to woo her now. I love Trent he is a sweetheart and the 2 of these characters together are fun!!

This book and all of it's characters had me f

Not My Type is the first book I’ve read by this author. The story starts off with Lexi and Trent meeting on a flight. They don’t get off on the right foot. Trent is a total jerk to Lexi and he says some stupid things, but later regrets it and wants to make it up to her. Trent is an up and coming rock star and Lexi is straight off the farm and a bad relationship. This story got off on a slow start for me, but once it picked up I thoroughly enjoyed it. I will be going back and reading the first bo ...more
