What I Enjoyed

The cast has a wide range of interesting characters. I think there’s at least one character that you’re rooting for throughout the book. I personally liked Amyrnn the elf with her companion, Jespaar. They make quite the team and can do a lot of cool magic. We hear snippets of her backstory throughout the novel, and it’s interesting the kind of worldbuilding that went into her character—along with everyone else’s.

Everyone also has a pretty decent sense of humor, so you’ll find lots

Epic fantasies are often hit or miss, gathering either fans or crickets. For a true fan of the genre, finding a new series is exciting, and a new author to follow is a good day. Mr. Lee's new series fits both categories, and I'm glad to have been introduced to his book.
