This book equips you with the knowledge you need to avoid deception coming from the Prince of Lies. Now you can shut and lock the door of your soul's enemy--permanently.
Marked by boldness and passion, John Bevere delivers uncompromising truth through his award-winning curriculums and bestselling books, now in more than 60 languages, including "The Bait of Satan," "Drawing Near" and "Driven by Eternity." He is an international speaker and co-host of "The Messenger" TV program broadcast worldwide.
John enjoys living in Colorado Springs with his wife, Lisa, also a best-selling author and speaker, and their four sons.
The phrase on the front cover says, "How obedience to God can protect you from the bondage of sin". This caught my attention. I compared those words to children obeying their parents because we parents want the best for them. How much more God wants us to obey Him because He wants the best for us. Obedience to God isn't always easy and fun, but it does bring blessings. Obeying isn't a guarantee that things go our way and that we get what we want, but it does bring blessings. This book explains how to obey God and why. I've read other John Bevere books and recommend them all. I wouldn't say I agree with everything he writes, but I'm always inspired to live a better life.
One of my first reads by John Bevere and it shook me to the core. Many chapters I wept over in conviction by the Holy Spirit. Powerful!! Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft!!
How often we blame others for our problems. While the big problem is us.We disobey the commandments of God and leave the door wide open for Mr devil to play games on us,then we shout foul play. The only way to win the battle under the sun is through 100%obedience and subbmision to God allmighty and his commands..
If you are struggling with unforgiveness, this is the book to read. I'll always remember one thing that John Bevere says. "A person who cannot forgive is a person who has forgotten the price that Christ paid for them on the Cross".
This book was amazing from beginning to end. It helped me to see some things in a way I hadn't considered before. Probably one that I'm going to be rereading in the future:)
