This is Hannah’s story, and threats and dangers begin as soon after the first page is turned, but why, we soon finds out she resembles her sister. Romance takes a backseat, as danger seems to be everywhere, amping up the pace until the surprise reveal. This is not your typical Amish-themed tale.

Both Lucas and Hannah used lack of judgement at times, but their hearts were always in the right place. I liked that their faith was shared throughout the story, but never a sermon or preachy. Best loved character was Fannie! I really enjoyed her! This is a standalone story, ...more
