I read this one story in Grade 8 when I was in school - "Doomed Queen Anne" was in one of the shelves of the classroom and we had to read a book for D.E.A.R (drop everything and read) time. I grabbed this book by chance and I'm glad I did.
"Doomed Queen Anne" by Carolyn Meyer makes history appeal to young readers, who never really cares about history at that age. This is how Anne Boleyn bewitches the King of England and her desire to become Queen - a truly wonderful read with several other stories that help make readers understand the situation more: "Mary, Bloody Mary", "Beware, Princess Elizabeth", and "Patience, Princess Catherine". How strong-willed women work to manipulate everything around them for their own desire.
