Waverly and Maverick or shall we say Morgan. Waverly has lost her parents in an accident and is taken under the loving wing of the Anderson family. Since the patriarch of the Anderson uses every means to play matchmaker he puts Waverly in the condition to accept a wonderful job offer from his friend who has a company in San Diego. New job, new responsibilities new friends what could she want more? Nothing more except for the upheaval encounter with her past, her unforgettable love for Maverick, the one and only man who changed her entire existence during her summer break in Marseille. But Maverick aka Morgan has never forgotten her, this is their second chance to start from where they left off. So many doubts, so many questions between them, a void to fill. A journey towards the reconnection of two hearts, the rediscovery of their passionate love. This book was amazing, I loved every single word and instance of this story. Although being a billionaire Morgan has charmed me with his simplicity and Waverly is his perfect match. I must say that Fifi surprises me more and more. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of the book.

I loved this book and read it in one afternoon.

Maverick is a professional water polo player and Waverly is backpacking around Europe, when they first meet in the south of France, it is love at first sight for them both, although neither will say I love you to the other. Maverick keeps getting her to change her plans so she stays with him ‘forever’ which she wants until some girls at a polo match start putting doubts in her mind, and she decides it’s time to move on, but not before promising to come back to him!

10 years go by and Waverly has had it tough, until she lands a great job at Butler Communications, and who should walk into her office on that first morning but Morgan Butler, the companies owners son! They instantly recognise each other but she refuses to acknowledge him, he looks like her Maverick, but no questions will be answered if neither will ask them.

The feelings they have for each other grow stronger and stronger and Morgan is determined to win the love of his life back and find out why she never returned to him. They both need the truth, but will they be able to move forward and live happily ever after??

This lady is on fire. Her books are coming so fast that I can't possibly describe how I felt. Being a greedy girl I always want more so...
Fifi Flowers is a genius being a pen. Her writting is super detailed, hot, sweet, raw and so sexy. Every chapter is like a breath of fresh air and I can't get enough.
Controlling the Billionaire is her latest release and tells the stories of Waverly and Morgan.
Waverly lost a bit of herself when her parents died suddenly. She's still cooping with the loss. She opted to move away from her hometown and start living again but the memories are a sweet yet painfully reminder.
Morgan is a free spirit. Used to be in the water all day can be a problem when you need to get a real job. He loved the water and water polo was his passion, that took him to Europe to persue his dream until an injury put everything to an early end. Now he needed to figure out what to do... Engage in his family business or seek another job?
Brilliant plot, super engaging, real and with a bit of the unknown. The interation between the characters is intense, raw and they are so stubborn. Jeez... These two almost made me insane.
There were parts of the story that I laughed so hard but there were others that I wanted to cry. This story is so beautiful, so real that we can identify ourselves with it. The twists and turns made this story even more appealing.
I knew that a book written by this author would be like this and I'm so grateful for the chance to read it.
Oh Fifi, this book is amazing and I can't wait for what's about to come.

Waverly lost her parents while they working for the Anderson corporation. Waverly also works there and after losing her parents, she was welcomed into the Anderson family. I love Joseph Anderson since he loves to play matchmaker with everyone he loves, which includes Waverly, even though he will never admit that he plots to get people together!

Morgan (aka Maverick when he was a professional water polo player) has to figure out what he wants to do with his life now that an injury has ended his water polo career. He tries to figure that out in his father's company, Butler Corporation. His father recommends that he work in the new cyber security division that they just started to see if that could be a potential career.

Waverly was moving up in the Anderson Corporation but Joseph and his buddy, Morgan's father, offers Waverly an advancement opportunity with Butler Corporation in San Diego. Waverly would have to move from Seattle to San Diego and she is ready for a change. Waverly gets the opportunity to head up the cyber division and is excited even though she doesn't know much about cyber security but she is up to the challenge. When Waverly meets Morgan, it did not go well since Morgan thought that Waverly was his assistant instead of the other way around. Also, it appears that Waverly and Morgan know each other even though it looks like Waverly is pretending that they have never met before!

It seems that 10 years ago, Waverly was backpacking across Europe and during her stop in Marsielle, France she meets Maverick! Even though they had just met, they started a fling but it ends up being more. But Waverly runs away instead of seeing where the relationship could go due to some rumors that she heard about Maverick. Now 10 years later, the 2 meet again and Morgan/Maverick must convince Waverly that what they had together was real and he wants her.

It was sweet how Waverly and Morgan met in France. I loved their time together, but Waverly was too young and immature so she listened to gossipy women and left Morgan. It is so crazy that two people can be in love, but not see it in the other. They were both so stubborn when they met ten years later and pretended they didn’t know each other. They each blamed the other for leaving, but didn’t want to talk about it. The parents and pseudo parents were real characters that I enjoyed. I was glad to see that the two had to work together so they could figure out how they felt. This was a good love story that I encourage you to read. Ten years ago Morgan and Waverly had a steamy affair in France. Heartbroken, Waverly returned to the States and threw herself into her career. Now, she is in charge of a new division and her new assistant is the sexy Morgan.

I really loved Morgan. He is a lost soul. His heart was broken. He lost the girl and his beloved water polo but now he is ready to fight for the woman he loved so much. Waverly is a riot! She is a controlled business woman but a hot mess when Morgan turns on the charm. A fun, fast-paced read!!

A Charming Story of Circumstance and Second Chance!!! 4.5 stars

Two young people meet in Marseille; one a water polo playing American Maverick and one a female student Waverly. Waverly leaves Maverick before he can leave her. The loss of her parents taught her to guard her heart.

Waverly graduates and works hard, and moves up the corporate ladder. Maverick is from a high-profile family and eventually joins the “real world” in the family company under his given name Morgan. When Waverly and Morgan find themselves in the same space, the sparks fly and the history becomes unavoidable.

Will business or pleasure take a front seat here? Fund, sexy read.

I really loved Waverly 's strong independent spirit. She knows what she wants in her career and isn't afraid to work hard to get it. Out of all the men in the world who should she find in her office one morning. But the one man who broke her heart 10 years ago in France. Waverly knows him by Maverick but his name is Morgan. The oldest son of the owner of the company she works for. When they meet in France. She was on a Vacation before starting college. Morgan was a Professional Polo player work in France. They had a whirl wind romance for a week or so. Will Waverly ever admit that she knows and remembers Maverick aka Morgan? Will Morgan ever find out why Waverly didn't come back to France? Pick this ebook up and find out. You wouldn't be sorry.

very well written short romance story with a great storyline and plot. Two well described and developed main characters.
I like it is written in dual POV, which gives the reader both the thoughts and feelings of the main characters.
I like to know what happens next, so the epilogue was welcomed.

An affair in Paris ten years ago and now they meet again. The chemistry still there but also the past and closed hearts. A man that goes for what he wants not to loose it again. The one that got away he wants to change into the one he got to stay.
Absolutely a heartbreaking and romantic story. Worth the read!

Marie's Tempting Reads ARC Review:

Who is looking for a very HOT Billionaire romance that will sweep you off your feet? Look NO FURTHER than Controlling The Billionaire by Fifi Flowers! I like a good billionaire romance, but this one just had...more. It was a slow burn, sexy, fun romance that was smooth with likable characters and a great plot.

Morgan is what I think of as a realistic man. He had his heart broken once and is leery but he still had a good heart and great personality. Waverly is JUST what he needs! Strong, beautiful, caring, she fit him like a puzzle piece. Everything flowed nice and steady and the storyline was strong and perfect! I adored the cover and fell in love with the book. I can't wait for both book 2 and 3!

Controlling The Billionaire gets a MUST READ FIVE SHOOTING STARS!

This is the first book I have ever read of Fifi Flowers. And I will definitely read more of her books. This one is a story about Waverly and Mav. They meet the first time in Marseille. Then again ten years later. And they finally got a happy ending.

Waverly and Morgan met ten years ago and had a brief romance while they were together in Europe, and now are working together at his father’s company. Neither of them want to admit not only who they were to each other but that neither one has given love a chance since they were together. But working together has a way of bringing people closer and the sparks ignite once again. But can Waverly give love a chance or is she destined to be alone? Or can Morgan prove that he will stand by he4 and give her the HEA she deserves. With adorable characters and a quick heartwarming storyline, once again Fifi Flowers does not disappoint.

REVIEW
This is a very sexy and romantic story.
Morgan is a hot shot water polo player and also the son of one of the richest familys in the US. He meets and falls inlove with a girl and then she just up and disappears.

Waverly lost her parents at a young age and the family who her parents worked for sees her through. She decides to travel and while doing that she meets a young tanned handsome guy whom she falls head over heels for.
This is her first love and things will take a turn she doesn't know how to handle.

Fast forward a few years and this couple will find themselves under the same roof literally.
Crazy, funny, witty, and sweet and sassy that is how I sum up this book.
I enjoyed it and I would recommend it.

Controlling the Billionaire is the first book in the Billionaire Communication series by author Fifi Flowers. I liked this romance. There is a ton of humor and love that kept me turning the pages.
This book is written in dual POV, I liked that can get into each character’s mind and thoughts. Makes it more personal to me.
Waverly, I liked her. She is a person who deeply misses her loving parents (they have died). She is caring, determined, and a wonderful person in general. She has a heart and soul to her that kept me cheering for her.
Morgan, well he is a good-hearted but really hard on himself. He feels washed up and useless. But he is going to try to find his place in the world on his terms. I liked his easy-going attitude and his strength he has more than even he knows.
Overall this is a great story and a good introduction to this series. There were a few typos but not many and they did not detract from the overall story for me. I really enjoyed this story and look forward to more from this series in the future.

this book was cute

overall this was a cute book, but was over way too quickly. the entire thing felt rushed...like I was reading in fast forward. it didn't really seem like I breathed between the beginning and ending.

I also didn't feel any connection between the two....they didn't seem like a match, I felt no romantic connection at all.

I will say it was a cute very quick read that had lots of potential.

I received a copy of this book for a honest review of the book, and for that I am very grateful.

A cute second chance romance about two people who found love when they needed it most!

I love Morgan’s fierce alpha side but his ability to switch between the alpha in charge and the charismatic lover is what makes him stand out!

Waverly is a little more reserved but also has a curiosity bone that leads her to the biggest adventure of her life!!

Flowers writing style is different from most I have experienced and at times I might get a bit confused I still find I like it because her ability to go between past and present really adds to the story and helps keep the flow of the book!

A sweet second chance romance. Morgan and Waverly meet while Waverly was backpacking through Europe. It was love at first sight with these two. They spend every second of Waverly's time there together. A misunderstanding and they are both nursing a broken heart. Ten years later they run into each other when Waverly is hired at Morgan's family company. The spark is reignited and Waverly tries to fight it. It was enjoyable watching these two get reacquainted and try to find answers. Loved their story beginning to end.
I received an ARC and volunteered to leave a review.

I enjoyed reading this storyline and the fresh twist on this was refreshing from the thousands of other billionaire romances out there. This one felt as though it had real depth to it and for that I was grateful. There is nothing worse than a generic billionaire romance. This certainly wasn't generic at all. Really enjoyed getting to know the characters and would happily read more by this author.

I enjoyed this fun twist on a boss/employee scenario. Even though there were several misunderstandings that got in the way, Waverly and Morgan persevered for the good of the company. I found their interactions cute and fun, making me keep turning the pages. *I recieved an Arc for my honest opinion.*
