Extremely thrilling, action packed, emotionally engaging and highly entertaining fight to save the world by surviving a trip through hell literately.

Rahym is half insane after the loss of his family and guarding travelers at the door to hell to pass the time. He never expects to be called upon after so long to help a group of Rebels lead by an old friend and angel Nakir let alone see his childhood love Jennet. They believe with Jannets new powers they can break the curse and save the world but

This is the first book I’ve read by Ms.Hayes, and I’ve read several by Ms. Hamilton. Rahym is just living day to day since his family died; living next the Door to Hell isn’t easy especially when people only have enough energy to stay awake for 4 hours before falling into Hibernation. This is the curse they all have to live with since the Door to Hell appeared. When an old friend/enemy comes to his inn with an old love, Rahym becomes willing to do anything to break the curse, even give up his li ...more

A hellish land, fraught with wildfires and demonlings, rendered almost completely inhospitable when the demon realm and the earth realm collided, both fracturing and melding each into one realm. Humanity is losing the battle; a fallen angel, a coven of witches and one broken man answer the call for salvation.
Rayhm is a man with a shattered soul; his wife and child lost to him three years prior, it’s all Rayhm can do to get through each day. Only four hours of energy allotted to him and all huma

The sector is cursed and everyone falls into a Hibernation after just 4 hours of exertion. Rahym runs a lodge so people can rest near to the Door to Hell before they cross the Karakum Desert - otherwise they run the risk of being caught by the fire that suddenly appears or the demonlings that enjoy killing people. He is also half insane after his wife and daughter were killed by fire and hears voices/talks to himself. Then Nakir, old friend and angel in charge of the Halos rebel group appears at ...more

Book Review by Stephanie FOR Fallen Halos: Watchtower 1 (Cursed Angel Collection) by Erin Hayes and Rebecca Hamilton.

“Haunted. Cursed. Helpless. Life is dangerous this close to the Door to Hell.”

This Dystopian Paranormal Fantasy reminded me of Stephen King’s Dark Tower books in a way. The pace fluid; full of suspense and mystery. The characters courageous and willing to fight against unbeatable odds. The authors exemplified each characters personality traits and they became more intriguing as th

Fallen Halos is a paranormal/fantasy with just a hint of romance. Full of sympathetic characters and a harsh setting, Fallen Halos unfolds in a magically compelling story of sacrifice, hope, and redemption. Ramyn is a broken man, a widower who watched his wife and daughter fall at the hands of the demonlings. Running a lodge on the edge of the Door to Hell, he survives day to day by crossing items off his to do list. A fallen angel from his past shows up with a new band of followers determined t ...more

Cursed and broken but in this world who isn't. Our lives are governed by a curse that makes us go into hibernation. I have watched all that I love die until the one I thought I lost reappears. He was my heart since I was a child and now I have found him again. They are part of a merry (yeah right) group that are the latest chance to break the curse. This is an action packed read emotionally charged with loss, love found, lives changed and maybe just maybe a curse broken and humanity saved.

This a

What would it be like to only have energy for 4 hours out of the day? To have to conserve energy just to do the most menial of tasks? To be cursed into a hibernation state when you run out of energy and at midnight your energy resets? This book is unique. It's a fight between heaven and hell. Between humanity and demons. I loved it! ...more

What a great story!!

I loved the story of a cursed land and the brave souls that decide to try to end the curse. The fallen angel, the innkeeper, a few witches, and some desperate survivors take on a demon and a curse that is designed to keep them from breaking it. I couldn't stop reading it!

Rahym Tezel is our lead hero in this installment in the Cursed Angel collection.

Nakir is a fallen angel and Jennet a witch. They travel through the Door to Hell in hopes of lifting the curse. This world is wonderfully constructed and such a fasinating plot! I honestly couldn't put it down.

This is the start of a new world and boy let me say wow the plot for this book kept me pulled in. Kind of makes ya wonder just how we would live if we put ourselves in the place of the characters. I can not wait to see what is in store for the rest of the books in this set

I really enjoyed reading this book. It lays out an entire territory that is guaranteed to be new to you as a fan of fantasy and the battles between angels & demons. You will get to know a great cast of characters in this book, and share in their life & death struggles along the way.

This story is not full of romance (still there will be love story).
It's packed with some major action twists that kept me on the edge most of the time! Really good read paranormal/fantasy/romance mix.

This book was fantastic, the characters are developed in a way that sucks you in. It’s emotional, action packed, and bordering the lines of sanity. Rayhm has experienced more despair than individual should, and bring a new level of emotions to the book. I loved it and want more.
