This was such a hard review to write, because I wanted to like this book so badly...and I still can't figure out completely why it didn't resonate with me. So here's my very subjective review, and I hope I'm explaining it well...

Follow Him Home is anything but a standard MMM romance, and that’s both a compliment and a bit of a hinder. In any ménage, there’s the risk of either leaving one person out of the ‘couple’, or not developing all characters equally. In this case, there’s not really a

It was a beautiful symphony. I fully enfold and savored it
Word magician(s) unbelievable captivating, very seducing... intriguing
A good dose of suspense and beautiful mature personalities.

It's written in a way (for me) like a song...the more you hear it the more you understand...
The waves of words in all the sentences aren't makes you reread lines and then you feel it more and better ....but maybe it's just me.

This was an intriguing start to a series.

Right away I could tell this wasn't going to be just an average romance. The prologue gives us a small insight into Christian's head before the book switches entirely to Peter's POV, and things aren't what they seem.

I liked Peter. He was in a self-imposed rut when Christian comes along, but willing to be so brave and open when the unexpected man turns his life on its ear. Victor is a bit more guarded but when

I can see this turning into something GOOD! Sure it had me a little confused at times but what the hell! It so made up for all of that with the little in-betweens.

I’m still not sure I understand our boy Christian completely but i so love the authors for giving me a MC who baffles me! In a good way! Christian is so full of opposites he makes my head spin! But I LOVE HIM!

Vicor...hmmmmm yes he rocks my boat. And dear dear Peter. Well, he just

This was a very unexpected book which took me on quite the journey. The relationship and dynamic began with Peter meeting Christian as a patient in hospital. Peter the ER doctor finds himself compelled and drawn to Christian and an interesting friendship/ partnership begins. Through Christian, Peter meets Victor, the sharp lawyer who provides a home and peace for Christian. Their dynamic is clearly one of love and Peter is not sure how or where he fits. As Peter learns more about Christian and ...more

Here we go. A threesome that I could have seen working. I could see why the three men would need each other. How each man could have propped up the relationship like a tripod chair....But in the end, the author tried to redeem Christian and settle him down and by doing that, he kind of negated the reason that Christian and Victor needed Peter and even more disappointing, we never got any real three way action until the very end. We had a few of Peter's fantasies but nothing real.

The real,

Polyamory and Hitman Boyfriend Issues Made Easy!

The central MC, Peter is almost ridiculously insightful and a master of that tried and true romance staple of “eye-reading”; so good in fact that not only can he read fleeting emotions, he can read complex, personal revelations about the other MCs' personalities and thoughts. This almost telepathic connection Peter has with both MCs makes for a very handy shortcut to get past the time consuming rigmarole of getting to know and fall in love

Tricky one to rate. Not sure if I'm rating up or down!

It's an entertaining read and I'd certainly consider another by this author collaboration. Yet there has to be a very definite suspension of disbelief and not only with regards to one being an assassin. While I liked the book I find I'm picking out more negatives than positives when sitting to review.

Dr Peter was for me less convincing a character than our assassin! A doctor whose chosen career is 'helping people' being so blasé regarding a

This was a very difficult book for me to read, not because of the content of the story but because of the structure of the writing and the author's voice. Maybe my brain is just wired in away that didn't mesh with the author's voice. I found myself having to constantly reread in order to follow the action and to understand what was being said and by whom. It was like playing fill-in-the-blank, making me feel as though some of the words were left in the authors head and never quite made it to the ...more

What a great story right from the start. It kept me glued to my kindle all the way through. Spectacular characters that you would never fit together, a doctor, a hitman, and a lawyer. Peter, Christian, and Victor fit perfectly together with incredible chemistry and a strong connection. Can't wait for the next one in the series.

Peter first sees Christian in the ED Department where he's a doctor and is immediately drawn to him. One agreed date leads to another as he has to find out more about him. Peter knows he should walk away but the more he finds out the harder it is!
Peter meets Christian's lover Victor who's the complete opposite and he's equally drawn to him, enjoying his company on dates.
Christian takes him to places he wouldn't set foot in on his own with them having to flee to safety. Is it the

This was an intriguing story and not your average love story. That was clear right from the start. It took me some time to get into the story due to the writing. Don’t get me wrong. It is really well written but has a style of its own. However, once I did I was captured and totally enthralled. I was sitting on the edge of my seat and biting my nails.
The three MC’s couldn’t be more different from each other. Peter, the ER doctor, Christian, the hit man, and Victor, the lawyer. An unlikely

Peter, Christian and Victor burned up the pages of this intense MM romance times 3. When Peter's second date with Christian included running from shady characters from a hole-in-the-wall bar I knew this was going to be good but when he wakes up the next morning to find Victor preparing breakfast in knew I was in for an all-nighter. So...yeah, it's almost 4:30 in the morning because I couldn't put it down and my zombie shuffle for the rest of the day was worth it.

P.S. That ending left me

What a surprise! This is a new to me author, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but what I got was a great story from start to finish!

A lawyer, a hit man and a doctor, an unlikely threesome, but it worked! Peter meets Christian, during one of Christians many trips to the emergency room. After Christian's chase of Peter ends with them scorching the sheets, Victor, Christian's long term BF, makes Peter breakfast and stills his heart!

Fast paced storyline that is entertaining the entire way! Highly

Well written complex story about 3 interesting men. Story moved like a slow dance that engages you the reader in a lazy afternoon sit down and listen to a tale about Peter, Christian and Victor who fall in love.

This story has steamy moments, drama and great character development. A great new beginning to an interesting story line and new series. This author is new to me and i will be looking for more of their work to read.

Intriguing is the first word that comes to mind after reading this book, then perhaps stunning and just a little bit noir’. Dark but not creepy or ugly. I’m still processing this one and find it won’t leave my mind. The characters were complex, sympathetic, and charming. The writing was well done and just a little poetic and a bit musical. A well-rounded story. Well worth reading.

Follow Him Home is a good beginner for a series even if it can be read alone. Although I found Christian to be a liar, cheater and manipulator the storyline is great. The relationships between the three is hot. Victor needed a little more mention because it felt like he was luggage.

Follow him Home is a interesting MMM book. I really enjoyed the unusual background of all the characters and how they worked together.

I wanted to love this book so much... after all, assassin-falls-in-love trope is one of my favorite.

I liked the idea of this book and what the characters seem to be. The sexy times were really sexy and it added to the development of the characters' feelings, especially turning the insta-lust into insta-love really fast. However, I don't think the characters felt connected to the reality they lived in. Peter, for example, is as fresh as a lechuge when Christian informs him he's a

This is the first book in The Alternate Worlds Series. It took me a while to get into the book because of the style of writing. Not because the writing was bad or it wasn’t a good story. Because it was an interesting book with great writing. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and characters were dramatic. The characters were well developed and thought out. Dr. Peter Dawes, Christian and Victor are the MC’s of this book. There was humor, MMM, ...more

This book started off slow, but quickly escalated to an interesting story line I found hard to put down. All three protagonists where well-developed and intriguing in their own way. Even the doctor Peter might seem bland on the surface, but his depths were revealed in the way he reacted to both Christian and Victor.

None of the men’s interactions develop as a traditional romance, but I still found the relationship arcs compelling. Christian’s revelations to Peter so soon after meeting jerked me

Peter has always had a thing for two different type of guys, mysterious bad boys and polished refine guys, when Christian walked into his ER, Peters knows right away he falls into the bad boy category, but there is something appealing about him. Christian is attracted to Peter but also thinks he would be perfect for Victor, his lawyer lover. Christian soon pulls Peter into his not so nice world. Peter feels like he is sinking fast from all the mysteries going on around the three of them

I loved this story of Peter, Christian, and Victor. The three were all so different, but they were perfectly suited to be together. A lawyer and a killer would have been a unique enough combination, but adding in a doctor made things even better. The emotions were intense, the sex was powerful, and the storyline was clever. I thought it was interesting that the three men didn't make love as a threesome early in the book. They focused more on one-on-one interactions sexually, while they became ...more

I got to 15%, a minute before the end of chapter 3, and I couldn't go any further! I really, really wanted to like this book, and I think, as far as the premiss goes, I do. However, the dialog did feel stilted and stiff, and it was taking too long to get to the point! Maybe now isn't the time for me to enjoy this book. Idk, but for my own sanity, I had to put it down.

A well written, fast paced book, my only complaint was the author didn't quite have a grasp on his main character, Peter. Peter is in his last year of residency at Temple University Hospital and working the ER night shift. At the beginning of the book he is awkward and seems more of an adolescent than a grown man, then suddenly he becomes very smmoth, collected and while not suave, a lot mre polished for no apparent reason. However, it's a small complaint, the characters are engaging and ...more
