The Romance Review

Warning, this is an emotional story which dances upon a shared suicide edge for a portion of the book. For those who struggle with whether to commit suicide or not, this book may trigger a desire to end it. I love stories that make me feel strongly. Usually the ones which stab a dagger into my heart and twists it so slowly that I bleed out from heartbreak, make it to my four star rating immediately. This story can be read as a standalone but is not recommended. Read the following three books

Remember Brandon? From 3 previous books that Tymber has written? Well, this is the story of his ex-wife, Tracey. I really wanted to hate her in the previous books but there was something about her that intrigued me! I'm so glad we are getting her story. In this book, she has divorced the jerk that made her life and her daughter's life hell. When a close friend passes away back home, she goes back with Jeff and there, meets the boyfriend from high school she has never forgot, Eric. After spending ...more

Blues Beach is Tymber Dalton’s 61’st Suncoast Society book. Rather unbelievable to me that we are so far into this series when it seems like it was just yesterday to me that we were on book 1. I for one am thrilled because this is a male dom and female sub book. There have been a lot of M/M books released in this series, and as much of a fan of the series I am, I’m just not a fan of the all-male genre. There is, however, an all male triad in the book that features heavily since our heroine, Trac ...more

Tymber Dalton writes about a very unusual family dynamic, but she does it in a real way. She shows that there are more to families than a husband, wife and kids. This particular story is a continuation of a family from previous books. Now we focus on Tracey, Brandon's ex-wife and Emma's mother. We start on the day of her divorce from the jerk Pat and we follow her through the new few months. She considers herself a bad mom who is trying to be better now that she is away from Pat. She feels lucky ...more

Another great release by author Tymber Dalton. This book continues with the family i've come to love. This book centers around Tracy, and what happens with her and her daughter and ex-husband's family once her divorce from Pat is final. In this book she reconnects with her high school love at the funeral of a family member. Tracy travels across the country with Jeff to help protect her from her family for when they get out of hand. She sees Eric the high shool sweetheart and they reconnect over ...more

Tracey's finally rebuilding her life. But is she ready? She's rid herself of Pat, her abusive ex-husband. She's mended her relationship with her daughter, Emma. Her first husband, Brandon, and his two husbands, Jeff and Stuart, have welcomed her into their loving family. Going back to s

Tracey wasn't someone we even liked when we first met her. But since then she has done a lot to bring about her own recovery and the recovery of her relationship with her daughter. And I'm so glad she gets to tell her own story now. Of course she does almost sink her own ship with her daughter again. Eric was the one that got away all those years ago. She didn't want to hold him back and he never got the chance to change her mind. But when they are reunited things explode between and it seems li ...more

This is a beautiful story about how sometimes true love never dies and that is never too late to have the life you want. Tracey has been rebuilding her life and her relationship with her daughter, Emma after divorcing her horrible second husband. When she loses a dear family member and friend, her true family in Florida lends her their support when she goes back to California for the funeral. There she runs into her first love whom she has never forgotten. Eric has been through the ringer but he ...more

I really had my doubts about Tracey deserving a second chance! I just couldn't see how I would ever feel any connection or even like her! She has not shown herself in a good light with me and just could not wrap my mind around her possible story!
OMG! Was I wrong! Not only do I feel bad for all the ugly thoughts about her, I was cheering for her to have a happy ending with Eric, her old first love!
When everything hits the fan and their budding relationship is pushed to the back burner and looks h

He threatened to beat himself up

I'm a late night reader. I also talk to !y books. This book me rolling from the plot twist. The Eric and Brandon confrontation was the best. The Suncoast Society Next Generation is also a big draw for me. These kids all clearly fall somewhere on the not strictly vanilla spectrum. They all at least love sprinkles.

Wonderful Read

Finally Tracey is getting her life back in order after the disaster of Pat - she meets up with Eric when friends gather for Cara's funeral - they use to date in high school. This has lots of coincidence in it and you might need tissues. I really enjoyed this book.

Tymber never fails to deliver ! After all the guys, Brandon, Stu and Jeff, get there happy endings. Its time for Tracey.
When her cousin suddenly passes away a quick trip to Cali reunites a high school boyfriend.
Quick weekend fling. But neither gets the others phone number.
Eric ends up in Florida and couple of surprises come with that. Can Emma be won over? In the end that is the big question.

One of her best. I loved how Tracey ‘s story played out. Very raw at times. Keep em coming Tymber.

When we first met Tracey in Heartache Spoken Here she didn't seem like a very nice person. She was in a bad place and seemed to be entrenched there. But as we moved through Roll With the Punches and A Case of You we could see her better. Start to understand her more. Fall in love with her. Now she finally gets her story. A reunion story. She meets up with an old flame she never really got over. Eric is widowed now but he never forgot his first love either. Trying to convince Tracey's daughter Em ...more
