Shelves: sci-fi
Before I get to the review itself, I should probably say this was my first self-published sci-fi read and seems that my luck did not run out yet. I noticed this book quite some time ago when it was up on giveaway and eventually put it to my TBR list with no ETA.
This story seems to start as PoV of cyborg (see my third highlight) that somehow becomes self-aware, yet it soon shows to be something more. On Earth of distant future nearing the end of its lifespan, humanity is divided and contr

A very interesting approach!
The way the author makes the transition from a character who has lost his memory--to the other characters whose memories have not suffered, is very well defined and fluent.
I really enjoyed this special detail.
For SCI-FI fans, the book aims to absorb the reader inside the story. It has action, outlined characters, futuristic environment and everything you need so you can read it to the end!

I received this book through the goodreads' firstreads in return for an honest review.

When I received M. Van's Recall, I was super excited as it had been a while since I'd gotten a SciFi novel through goodreads. The plot sounded great and I couldn't wait to read it. Unfortunately, once I started reading it I stalled out.

I finally finished reading it, took me a long time, a bit stale at some places...but I sincerely enjoyed it.
The kind of book I would recommend to a friend, and regardless of actions scenes it opens some real questions about humanity future between corruption and survival. It's a mind opener and takes a bit of time to digest, if you are the kind that makes all sorts of parallel scenarios in your head, like I do.

To sum everything up it was a great book. That feeling of nostalgia, twist and world
