I loved this story! The mud bog racing made it especially fun and the romance sizzled. Great stuff!
I started this one in the ending hours of my first ever Dewey's 24 Hour Readathon and my first thought about it was "What took me so long to get to this?!". Sadly, this sentiment did not carry through the remainder of the book.

Camara was so snooty! She acted like she was the greatest thing since sliced bread to come along to the racing and auto mechanics worlds, but she wasn't anything special. She thought she knew it all, and that wound up costing her at times in the story. I really didn't see

The Bride Wore Coveralls by Debra Ullrick is a wonderful romance with Christian values and with God’s love and forgiveness shown throughout the entire book. Camara Cole is a beautiful young woman and she is happiest when she is working on a car as a mechanic, building a mud-bog truck, or racing her mud-bog truck in the hopes of winning the championship. She also has a deep faith in God but she fights daily against her pride and her need to prove herself as good a mud-bog racer as any man. Chase ...more

Independent Camara Cole is a top notch auto mechanic and mud-bog racer but she struggles against stereotyping in her job and her hobby. Men tend to make light of her chosen career because she is a pretty feminine woman but some men are just plain jealous of her success. Chase Lamar used to be one of those men but as a new Christian he has changed. Now his rivalry is just in the mud-bog and he wants to become more than a fellow competitor with Camara. Their budding relationship is hampered by sus ...more

The Bride Wore Coveralls by Debra Ullrick is a fascinating story about forgiveness and love. In this book we find Camara Cole who is a true tomboy, she enjoys her job as a mechanic and loves mud bogging. She can hand with the guys and those guys don’t like it. Chase Lamar used to be one of those guys who would rag Camara and tell her that she can’t hang with the boys, until he gives his life to Christ and falls in love with Camara.

Can Camara ever forgive Chase for all he had done to her in the p

Truly enjoyed this story. The power of love and forgiveness far outweighs anything that can come up against. God is so good, in all our situations.
