As a third culture kid, i enjoyed reading the book, and enjoyed taking part of other peoples stories. Many people have very similar stories, and I think this is an important thing to be aware of. It normalizes my experiences which is shame reducing and strengthens my identity, or opens up for identity exploration.
The book is a collection of storiess, that’s the beauty. I would have like models or data strengthening the stories, which I do understand wasn’t the intention of the book.
