I think you're going to love this novella... It's a little different. A little bit of a brain teaser... But hold onto your panties, because it's sizzling hot and tempting~

I read this as part of the upcoming The Vault anthology and was I blown away!

A new to me author, Sundown by Tia Louise was an adventure I only come across once in a great while. A bit of a mystery as Larissa and her 'sister' Molly board a train in the snowy wilderness to exact revenge when they were poor and abused in the French Quarter. And when Larissa meets the eyes of Mark Fitzhugh after what seems like a lifetime apart, her plan just got a bit muddied. I love the adrenaline-fueled rush felt

Tia Louise is a new to me author. But I was not letdown by her novella, Sundown.

Sundown had it all a hint of mystery, intrigue, murder! A tale that grabbed ahold of me from start to finish.

We meet Larissa and Mark a few years prior. He wants a second chance to save the woman he didn't get to then. He becomes a detective. Watching Mark and Larissa come together years later was beautiful. Their connection is SIZZLING! I love how Tia gave us such beautifully, flawed characters. Ones you can relat

This story is very intriguing. It’s about revenge and second chance at love. Mark a sexy detective who has never forgot about Larissa meets by chance again and there reunion is hot & sexy but short lived. Mark will do anything to find Larissa and when he does he will get a surprise he never expected.

Sundown is a great novella in The Vault Anthology Volume 1 and is about Mark & Larissa.

I found it an intriguing story of revenge and second chances.

It's also an introduction to a new duet from what has to be my favorite author in the romance genre. I can't think of one book or story of Tia's that I haven't loved.

I'm really looking forward to reading more about this couple and their story!

There's intrigue here, you could tell right from the beginning. And there's such heat, and history, and love love love. Oh, and some some hot sexiness. I loved this. I loved their wounded souls and I loved their fight. Mark & Larissa won me over

This is one the gems contained in the new anthology THE VAULT. I sure hope this is the preview of a new series by this author. It is interesting and enigmatic as it lulls you in to the mystery of seeking revenge. Justice must be extracted at any cost.

Larissa meets Mark by sheer fate on their train ride on the White Pass-Yukon Route. The five years that have passed since they knew each other melt away as the old feelings rush forward. The seduction is on, but her ultimate goal cannot be postponed

When Mark is traveling on a train in the winter that almost no one travels he meets his usual people the Baron included but he didn't expect to see a young girl Molly and his Lara. Larissa hasn't had the best life. She's found herself in tough spot. Be with the man she's loved since she was a girl or help the person she's practically raised.
Mark never expected to see her again. He quickly reasserts himself into her life though the guilt from their youth weighs him down.
I wasn't (am still not ) sure what to think about this one. I've not read any of this authors works prior to this one. The majority of the story happens in a short span of time and the ending seemed anti-cli

Mark and Larissa haven’t seen each other in five years. They both always wondered what had happened to the other and their encounter leaves them hot and bothered until they finally give in to the passion they’ve always had for each other. This story was slow at first and it took a bit to get me into the characters but then once it did, it was full speed ahead and the suspense as to why Larissa and her companion, Molly, were on the train, just kept me going. I want to know what’s in store for Mar ...more

Sundown by Tia Louise was a slow read for me. There was some confusion as to the reference of time. In the beginning, it felt like an old western, but the reference to Narcan and cell service blew that out of the water. I would have loved a little more character development. The story line has potential to be a great novel, with more detail to Mark and Larissa’s past, and more information about Molly.

Wowza, I had no idea going into this novella what all I would be getting. I was getting so bored in the first chapters, and then what a way to finish. This was about a lost love being reunited, revenge, and growing up. It is most definitely a must read that will surprise the crap outta ya. I would really love for Molly to get her own book , while she seeks redemption.

A young boy trying to save a girl. She's taken from his grips and he's beaten severely. Years later they meet again on a train. She's in the business that was forced upon her and he's now a cop. Can he rescue her from her life? He failed once and it's now his life goal to succeed in rescuing her.

Unfortunately, this book kept losing my interest. Not sure why.

This was a new author to me, so I didn't know what to expect. I was drawn in by her writing style and story's intrigue and characters. Sundown had a lot of story for a novella; although, being a shorter story, events seemed a bit underdeveloped in places and I wanted to get to know Larissa and Mark more. Overall, I was impressed and plan to read more books by Tia Louise.

This one was different. Not bad but not great. The time frame is a bit confusing. Not that there were inconsistencies but the "when" is unclear. I kept picturing that this was all historical, then they would talk about no cell reception in the mountains.

This novella was filled with a lot information, yet you were keep on the edge after every page. I love the detective feel of the book but sex was still a part of the story.

There is absolutely something in The Vault for everyone. From sweet and sexy to the raw and gritty heartache of Tia Louise's Sundown, these are 22 wonderfully unique novellas that will have you feeling every possible emotion.

In Sundown, there's a much darker tone of intrigue and revenge. Mark and Lara met as teenagers, but were torn apart by unimaginable circumstances. Years later, their meeting on a train rekindles old feelings, but everything isn't as it appears, and the pair may not reach the

Tia Louise is a former journalist, world-traveler, and collector of beautiful men (who inspire ALL of her stories... *wink*)---turned wife, mommy, and USA Today bestselling author (buried the lede).

It's possible she has a slight truffle addiction. And she will never look at a family restroom the same way again.
