This book is so obviously pre-Me Too. It is the Harlequin-type books I grew up with and haven't read in many years.

Besides being mostly sex instead of a decent plot and writing, the author obviously knows nothing about throwing pottery. The MFC throws as a form of stress relief. The MFC comes into the studio, gets her clay out of the freezer and places it on the wheel. I can tell you from experience, you cannot mold frozen clay. The MMC comes into the public studio, throws the MFC over this shoulder (no one in the studio even vocally objects) and carries her out. Her hands are covered in wet clay, and she clutches his lawyer suit. He tosses her into his Lincoln, still wet clay and after driving to his house, throws her onto his velvet bedspread. Not likely.

Humorous and steamy romance

Angels on Zebras is a fun and witty love story. Peggy Webb does a great job of weaving a tale of romance between a staunch, rigid attorney and a sexy, flamboyant interior decorator.

Maxie Corban is a woman who dances to no one’s tune but her own. But when she accepts the honor of being godmother to her new nephew, she finds herself having to deal with her sister’s rigid, responsible brother-in-law, Joe, when planning the christening party. Not only does she have trouble convincing Joe to deviate from the boring, traditional christening party, but she also finds herself fighting the sexual attraction that’s sizzling between them.

Joseph Patrick Beauregard is a conservative attorney who has his life all planned out until he finds himself having to plan a christening party with his brother’s stunning, but colorful, sister-in-law. Not only does he come to the realization that his life is stuffy and not what he really wants, but he also finds himself drawn to Maxie like a moth to a flame. It isn’t long before he throws caution to the wind, changes his way of living, and has hot, phone sex.

This is a book filled with humor, hot sexual attraction, and steamy romance. It is a light-hearted and entertaining read that will capture your attention as the pages heat up.
