I give this book 5 out of 5 Romantic Stars! When I read this book last week I was quite impressed that this was the author’s debut novel! I just loved the intensity of Sara and Tom first meeting. I really enjoyed both characters and thought they were well developed. I felt like I could also relate to Sara’s pain from her tragedy and how she felt. I even felt I could relate to Tom with his mistrust and feelings.

The way that Olivia Boothe wrote these two damaged souls’ romance was amazing and had m

Well, first things first. Let's take a moment to drool over the cover. It's pretty, isn't it?

Ok, done? Great, now we can talk about the story. I loved the description of this book. There's something about secrets that just draws me in. Maybe because my favorite thing ever are those moments when they trust each other with the part of themselves they have kept hidden for so long. It's sweet and magical, it makes my heart happy. If you enjoy those moments as much as I do, this book won't disappoint

This is a hard review to write because usually I really like a book or really dislike a book. For me this story was ok.

I did feel like I'd had enough at one point because of something that Sara witnessed  and then had a sensual experience of her own. I just felt this was completely unbelievable.

Overall I think that this is a romance that other people would adore but for me it plodded on. I tend to prefer a faster paced read.

Olivia Boothe does deal with some delic

I just found this so predictable and the characters were silly.
Although it was ok as a story I would not rush to read it again.

3.5 stars rounded up!

I cannot believe I have actually rated a romance book 4 stars in 2019!

I definitely wouldn't say this was one of my favourite reads, but nowadays it is hard to find a good romance that doesn't involve ex-partner drama or something incredibly unbelievable. I know this was published in 2017 but I hadn't read it til' now and I would say that's pretty new-ish anyway.

There were times throughout the book that irritated me. For example, the extended paragraphs of talking about go

A fantastic debut from author Olivia Boothe. Wicked Dance was beautifully descriptive, with well developed characters. It was fast-paced, without feeling rushed; it took you on such a journey that you felt yourself right there watching Sara and Toms relationship develop. I adored the storyline, it wasn’t your typical “boy meets girls”, it had a freshness about it and was so different to a lot of books in the same genre. It makes me really excited to see what’s to come next!

This wasn't about an undeniable physical attraction; it wasn't about lust or need. It was about the bond growing between us. The possibility of a love so strong it could hold us together and potentially even tear us apart. by Sara

Though author Olivia Boothe was kind enough to send me Wicked Dance for review, this opinion is entirely my own and not influenced by anybody.
As my rating already suggests, I really loved Wicked Dance, which is the story of former dancer Sara Hart and real estate mogul Tom Wright. When it comes to NA romance novels it's always either hit or miss for me but this one was definitely a hit. Olivia has a way of writing that's very intriguing and addicting and I couldn't put the book down. I totally

I was fortunate enough to read an early copy of Wicked Dance and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this story. Olivia Boothe has created a completely engrossing story, full of complex characters and all consuming moments.

Tom and Sara meet in an almost meet-cute way, busy coffee house, spilled coffee, and charming smiles. That's how the best romances start right? That's the easy part because they are most certainly complex. They each have demons they are dealing with, meaning they have

Wicked Dance is wicked indeed. It's hot, it's layered and it's utterly addicting to read.

Sara is a former dance student unhappy with her job and unhappy with her life, when she meets Tom at their local coffee shop. He captures her interest from their very first meeting, but she's left with the feeling that she wasn't even a blip on his radar. Until one day he comes to her rescue and a relationship is formed.

I like that both these characters have layers, have inner demons they're trying to fight.

(3.5/5): Following the story of Sara, an ex-dancer now working in administration for a renowned dance company, Wicked Dance tells of her complex relationship with tall handsome stranger Tom, who has plenty of his own secrets about his past.

I particularly enjoyed the dance elements of the story: I’ve never before read a book where the emphasis was more on the day-to-day running of an artistic dance company, rather than all about the dancers. I thought the story gave an accurate insight into the

This is a debut novel from this author? I can’t believe that’s true. From the very beginning I was pulled into Sara’s story and what happened in her past to have her in the career she is in now. Once we’re introduced to Mr. ID things only get more intriguing, there’s something about that that had me wanting to know him on a deeper level just like Sara had. Little by little both of their layers are peeled back both individually as well as together and a heartbreaking, beautiful story is told. Thi ...more

When I started Wicked Dance, at first I thought I was reading the script of Save The Last Dance. Because there Sara also loses her mother in a car accident, while she was supposed to go to Juilliard.

But where the Sara from the movies falls in love with a guy from 'the hood', Sara Hart falls in love head over heels with the mysterious guy at the coffee shop. This turns out to be Tom, a very wealthy hot guy, who doesn't do relationships.

But when those two meet, the worlds just shifts on its axis.

Wait it’s over?!?
I don’t usually read romance novels, usually a sci-fi fan with a sprinkle of chic-lit but Olivia Boothe’s book was recommended so I gave it a shot. Let me just say I’ve haven’t been this involved with two characters in quite some time. Mr Wright is what Mr Grey should have been and Sara is all of us. This book had love, lust, conflict, and a great story that kept you wanting more. Actually when it ended I went back a couple pages and read it again because I was sad it was over.

I found this book entertaining but at times found the characters a little over the top. I did enjoy the storyline of broken dreams and overcoming the past to look towards the future. I would have given this story a higher rating if it were not for the ending that was abrupt and did not leave me satisfied. I was hoping for a book two to find out how Tom and Sara ended up but it seems this is the only book.

I received an eARC of this book from NetGalley, but that does not affect my review.

It's been over a month since I read this book, I really do need to get my act together when it comes to writing reviews. As much as I loved it and my rating won't change, I'm having a hard time remembering everything that happened in it. But that's mostly due to the fact I'm a fast reader and should pay more attention to everything.

This is a beautiful slow burn of a story. The characters are fully realized and feel like people I know (and would like to meet for a drink!). The setting is so detailed I felt like I was walking down the streets of NYC with Sara. I loved the immersion into the characters’ world and the time the author takes to explore their lives before throwing them together. The tempo and pacing of this story is unusual in a time when so much feels rushed and disposable. This is not a disposable story. It’s a ...more

This book was such a pleasant surprise...I loved it! I couldn't believe this was the author's first book! The characters were so well developed, and the story telling was so rich and detailed, and just real!
Sara and Tom were both such beautifully broken characters. They've both struggled with painful losses and guilt, and are just surviving the best they know how. This book made me laugh and cry, and even cringe at how painfully awkward Sara was at times. I could see a little of myself in Sara,

To start off, I hadn't realized that this was the first book by this author. Having just found that out, I'll say that I am impressed. I was for the most part thoroughly immersed in the story, didn't really want to put it down. However, there were some things that annoyed me a bit and just didn't make sense.

I've always been fascinated with dance, even if I can't dance myself. So I'm always excited when a book features a character with a dance background. Sara's life revolved around dance until

Tom and Sarah: two very different people, brought together by the need to love and feel loved again, both surpassing loss and overcoming addictions. This is what Olivia Boothe brings us. This is an emotional story that captured me from the word “Dance” and made me spend all the minutes in this audiobook just focused on their lives .

The story is told mostly from Sarah’s point of view, but from time to time we get to see what Tom is thinking and I believe this makes for a complete picture of their

I believe this is a debut novel by this author with more to come in this series -- at least I hope so because I honestly did not like the way this book ended. It's not really a cliffhanger but it ends so abruptly. And it wasn't that I was hoping for more because the book is quite long -- almost too long for my liking and the reason I say that is because there was so much up and down with these characters. I understand conflict is part of most storylines, but I'm obviously in the minority here wh ...more

I was approved for this book on @netgalley so a major thanks to them for helping me find a new favorite author 😍

Sara gave up on her dreams of being a professional dancer and on love a long time ago, until she (literally) bumped into Tom. From the moment they met they were captivated by each other. Will her past get in the way? Will HIS past get in the way? You’re going to have to read this book to find out!

I LOVED this story. A) I grew up dancing so it called me to with that part of the story.

An amazing story of love and redemption

We all have demons that we wish would never surface again. Sometimes in life we're lucky enough to find that one person who can see right into our souls seeing those demons but still gives us a second chance at life and love.

In Olivia Boothe's debut novel, Wicked Dance, Sara Hart and Tom Wright meet by chance but can't seem to shake the attraction they have towards one another. Each scared that the demons that they have fought hard to hide will now surface

I'm slightly shamed to admit that this is the first contemporary romance for me. As a former wannabe Rockette, I'm drawn to anything that has to do with dance, this included. The story sucked me right in, seeing Sara deal with her past and figuring out how to go on with or without dance in her life. The romance was fabulous and I needed a cool shower a few times. I can't wait to see where the next book will take us on this journey.
