I give this book 5 out of 5 Romantic Stars! When I read this book last week I was quite impressed that this was the author’s debut novel! I just loved the intensity of Sara and Tom first meeting. I really enjoyed both characters and thought they were well developed. I felt like I could also relate to Sara’s pain from her tragedy and how she felt. I even felt I could relate to Tom with his mistrust and feelings.

The way that Olivia Boothe wrote these two damaged souls’ romance was amazing and had m

Well, first things first. Let's take a moment to drool over the cover. It's pretty, isn't it?

Ok, done? Great, now we can talk about the story. I loved the description of this book. There's something about secrets that just draws me in. Maybe because my favorite thing ever are those moments when they trust each other with the part of themselves they have kept hidden for so long. It's sweet and magical, it makes my heart happy. If you enjoy those moments as much as I do, this book won't disappoint

This is a hard review to write because usually I really like a book or really dislike a book. For me this story was ok.

I did feel like I'd had enough at one point because of something that Sara witnessed  and then had a sensual experience of her own. I just felt this was completely unbelievable.

Overall I think that this is a romance that other people would adore but for me it plodded on. I tend to prefer a faster paced read.

Olivia Boothe does deal with some delic

Sissy's Romance Book Review
Wicked Dance by Olivia Boothe is the First book in the Chronicles of a Dancing Heart Series. This is the story of Tom Wright and Sara Hart. Tom is a very successful Real Estate mogul who doesn't do love but does enjoy the women. Sara had thought her life would be that of a dancer but a car accident that took her mother and left Sara with guilt she couldn't get past she is left that dream alone. Now in her present day she is an assistant with a Dance Studio, with a boss she doesn't care for. Then ...more

I received a free copy via Netgalley in exchange for a honest review.

I just found this so predictable and the characters were silly.
Although it was ok as a story I would not rush to read it again.

Wicked Dance is about overcoming your fears and taking a chance on love.

I’m going to start with the characters. I loved Tom! Loved his flaws and all. He’s a sexy man who has his own demons but is a good guy for the most part. Jen is great too. We all need a best friend like her. The horrid ones were well written too. The ones you love to hate! Next up, Sara. It took me a bit to come around. I understood her pain and her distrust. What I didn’t understand was some of her actions. I was like “girl

A fantastic debut from author Olivia Boothe. Wicked Dance was beautifully descriptive, with well developed characters. It was fast-paced, without feeling rushed; it took you on such a journey that you felt yourself right there watching Sara and Toms relationship develop. I adored the storyline, it wasn’t your typical “boy meets girls”, it had a freshness about it and was so different to a lot of books in the same genre. It makes me really excited to see what’s to come next!

3.5 stars rounded up!

I cannot believe I have actually rated a romance book 4 stars in 2019!

I definitely wouldn't say this was one of my favourite reads, but nowadays it is hard to find a good romance that doesn't involve ex-partner drama or something incredibly unbelievable. I know this was published in 2017 but I hadn't read it til' now and I would say that's pretty new-ish anyway.

There were times throughout the book that irritated me. For example, the extended paragraphs of talking about go

Though author Olivia Boothe was kind enough to send me Wicked Dance for review, this opinion is entirely my own and not influenced by anybody.
As my rating already suggests, I really loved Wicked Dance, which is the story of former dancer Sara Hart and real estate mogul Tom Wright. When it comes to NA romance novels it's always either hit or miss for me but this one was definitely a hit. Olivia has a way of writing that's very intriguing and addicting and I couldn't put the book down. I totally

I was fortunate enough to read an early copy of Wicked Dance and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this story. Olivia Boothe has created a completely engrossing story, full of complex characters and all consuming moments.

Tom and Sara meet in an almost meet-cute way, busy coffee house, spilled coffee, and charming smiles. That's how the best romances start right? That's the easy part because they are most certainly complex. They each have demons they are dealing with, meaning they have

Olivia Boothe reached out to me and asked me to read her novel Wicked Dance and review. I downloaded a sample and got a few pages in before I was hooked already so I agreed. This book was absolutely amazing! I loved it so much. Sara and Tom are just instantly drawn to one another. Both of them have guarded their hearts and had no interest in ever finding love again. Like magnets, these two can’t seem to be apart after that first meeting in the coffee shop. Afraid of getting hurt again and not fe ...more

(3.5/5): Following the story of Sara, an ex-dancer now working in administration for a renowned dance company, Wicked Dance tells of her complex relationship with tall handsome stranger Tom, who has plenty of his own secrets about his past.

I particularly enjoyed the dance elements of the story: I’ve never before read a book where the emphasis was more on the day-to-day running of an artistic dance company, rather than all about the dancers. I thought the story gave an accurate insight into the

Wicked Dance is wicked indeed. It's hot, it's layered and it's utterly addicting to read.

Sara is a former dance student unhappy with her job and unhappy with her life, when she meets Tom at their local coffee shop. He captures her interest from their very first meeting, but she's left with the feeling that she wasn't even a blip on his radar. Until one day he comes to her rescue and a relationship is formed.

I like that both these characters have layers, have inner demons they're trying to fight.

When I started Wicked Dance, at first I thought I was reading the script of Save The Last Dance. Because there Sara also loses her mother in a car accident, while she was supposed to go to Juilliard.

But where the Sara from the movies falls in love with a guy from 'the hood', Sara Hart falls in love head over heels with the mysterious guy at the coffee shop. This turns out to be Tom, a very wealthy hot guy, who doesn't do relationships.

But when those two meet, the worlds just shifts on its axis.

This is a debut novel from this author? I can’t believe that’s true. From the very beginning I was pulled into Sara’s story and what happened in her past to have her in the career she is in now. Once we’re introduced to Mr. ID things only get more intriguing, there’s something about that that had me wanting to know him on a deeper level just like Sara had. Little by little both of their layers are peeled back both individually as well as together and a heartbreaking, beautiful story is told. Thi ...more

Wait it’s over?!?
I don’t usually read romance novels, usually a sci-fi fan with a sprinkle of chic-lit but Olivia Boothe’s book was recommended so I gave it a shot. Let me just say I’ve haven’t been this involved with two characters in quite some time. Mr Wright is what Mr Grey should have been and Sara is all of us. This book had love, lust, conflict, and a great story that kept you wanting more. Actually when it ended I went back a couple pages and read it again because I was sad it was over.

I found this book entertaining but at times found the characters a little over the top. I did enjoy the storyline of broken dreams and overcoming the past to look towards the future. I would have given this story a higher rating if it were not for the ending that was abrupt and did not leave me satisfied. I was hoping for a book two to find out how Tom and Sara ended up but it seems this is the only book.

I couldn't put this book down. It was so well written. The relationship between the main characters, Tom and Sara was just so strong. You felt what they felt. It was hard not to. This is a beautiful slow burn of a story. The characters are fully realized and feel like people I know (and would like to meet for a drink!). The setting is so detailed I felt like I was walking down the streets of NYC with Sara. I loved the immersion into the characters’ world and the time the author takes to explore their lives before throwing them together. The tempo and pacing of this story is unusual in a time when so much feels rushed and disposable. This is not a disposable story. It’s a ...more
This book was such a pleasant surprise...I loved it! I couldn't believe this was the author's first book! The characters were so well developed, and the story telling was so rich and detailed, and just real!
Sara and Tom were both such beautifully broken characters. They've both struggled with painful losses and guilt, and are just surviving the best they know how. This book made me laugh and cry, and even cringe at how painfully awkward Sara was at times. I could see a little of myself in Sara,

To start off, I hadn't realized that this was the first book by this author. Having just found that out, I'll say that I am impressed. I was for the most part thoroughly immersed in the story, didn't really want to put it down. However, there were some things that annoyed me a bit and just didn't make sense.

I've always been fascinated with dance, even if I can't dance myself. So I'm always excited when a book features a character with a dance background. Sara's life revolved around dance until
