Steve Cole is the slightly crazy, highly frantic, millions-selling, non-stop author of Astrosaurs, Cows In Action, Astrosaurs Academy, The Slime Squad, Z. Rex and many other books (including several original Doctor Who stories).
He used to edit magazines and books but prefers the job of a writer where you can wear pyjamas and eat chocolate all day.
Steve just can't stop writing - if he does, strange robots appear and jostle him vigorously until he starts again.
In his spare time he loves making music, reading old comics, thinking up ideas for new books and slumping in front of a warm TV.
Day of the Dino-Droids by Steve Cole begins with a group of dinosaurs astrosaurs seeking their missing admiral in space and as they search, they ultimately fall in trouble.. a series of unfortunate events. Will they be able to locate their absent comrade and get back safely to HQ?
I bought this book at a National Bookstore sale for only Php30 (originally priced at P245) which is quite a steal, I was in high school when I purchased this for what I can remember. And I'm starting to read all the books I have at home.
For me, it was quite an enjoyable read with each chapter presenting a cliffhanger at the end, overall I quite enjoyed it... for a children's book. The book also ends with a page solely for pronouncing the name of the dinosaurs correctly and a premise of "The Terror-Bird Trap", the eight book in the series. The book also includes trading cards which you can collect, each book has four.
